The wording of that announcement is very ambiguous. "We are expecting a new addition to the family" could just as easily apply to a puppy, an adoption, etc.... Just sayin'

I imagine it's not hard to be a happy and fun "4" year old when you've got all the resources in the world at your disposal and have never heard the word "No" in your life.

I'm assuming these are the comments at issue: http://www.dlisted.com/node/37199 Loki's forever soulmate Mickey Rourke, who just finished promoting Iron Man 2 with Fishsticks Paltrow (hint hint), says most movie stars can kiss his face (which is worse than kissing his ass) because he doesn't have a sliver of respect for them. Mickey wouldn't even respect them if they were covered in fluffy fur, yapped at the wind, tossed their own salad and shat out butt pieces the size of a thumbnail. That's saying a lot. Mickey tells Parade Magazine (via HuffPo): “You can be less than mediocre and be a fucking movie star. I have respect for very few actors and actresses. Some of them get a lot of acclaim but just because their movie made $200 million at the box office, they still suck. I got no respect for them and I used to let them know it. It was important for me to put that aside and go, ‘You know what? This is a business. If you kiss the right ass and you get lucky on a movie or two, you could last 10 years.’ So, now, I just keep my mouth shut and pet my chihuahuas.” Of course Mickey has to keep his mouth shut, because if he doesn't those asshole stars won't let him be in their movies and then how will he keep his little dog friends in the lifestyle they are accustomed to? Bedazzled dog bowls, canine anal bleaching and doggy nipple massages don't pay for themselves!

I'll believe when she is behind bars and stays there for more than 74 minutes.

    Biggest Loser - Families

My guess is that they are playing this week by week. IF they can all stay above the yellow line and vote as a bloc then they can pick off Yellow AND Gray one by one from here on in and drive this bus straight to the finale. However, they really need to make it past next week to ensure the plan will work. Maybe they figured it was worth it not to rock the boat...at least not for this one last week? Assuming AMD gets it done next week, I am thinking Sam or Sunshine goes next. There is NO way Koli didn't tank the weigh in last night, which means he should be due for a really big number. Who would have thought that the least interesting part of Makeover Week could end up being the makeover?

Poll: Will Sandy and Jesse Divorce?

I think her point was more about where Sandra wasn't at Easter.

Wow...they both look awesome! More importantly, they both truly "get it". Good for them.

I so hope this is true. It's about time someone stepped up to be a parent here.

    Biggest Loser - Families

O'Neal will fall on the sword for her if it ever comes to that, but the drama will be unbearable regardless. I'm actually hoping it's Sam that goes. I'm rather "meh" on the grey team at this point, but I think Koli really needs to start worrying about himself and putting his own health/wellbeing first. I don't see that happening as long as Sam is still around.

    Biggest Loser - Families

Amen!!!! I'm wondering if there may be a ray of hope next week though per the episode description over at Yahoo/TV Guide: http://tv.yahoo.com/the-biggest-loser/show.../episode/236603 Episode Description Originally Aired: April 27, 2010 It’s an exciting week for the remaining seven contestants as they head to Dallas to inspire Texans to get healthy and join them as they run a 5K at the Cotton Bowl. Then its off to a rodeo for a wild challenge involving wrangling calves that will grant immunity to the lucky winner at this weeks weigh-in. In addition, with only seven contestants left, it becomes clearer than ever who is willing to do whatever it takes to be in the final four. Also, season eight fan favorite Abby Rike makes a special appearance this week and invites Jillian to speak at her old high school. Later, back at the ranch, elimination leaves one player feeling very much alone. It sure sounds like one of the teams is finally getting split up, doesn't it?

And her scarf is ugly with that shirt. And those pants. Criminy. Yeah, I've never really been any kind of fashion person, so maybe I'm missing something, but I always thought her clothes/she looks hideous most of the time. I'm definitely not a fashion person either, and yet I've never understood how she achieved "icon status" in that arena either.

    Biggest Loser - Families

I read in the episode description for next week that someone gets bad news right before the weigh in, and a poster over at the NBC boards (Sunshine's cousin; presumably O'Neal's niece too) mentioned something about O'Neal's brother passing while he was at the ranch. I'm wondering if that's when it happened and the violent outburst/injury shots are two separate incidents? I'm very sad to see Drea gone as well but I'm glad to hear that she is doing well and has embraced her new way of life. Any updates on Flat Stanley's whereabouts?

    Biggest Loser - Families

I didn't see the episode as school let out late last night but I did catch wind of the final outcome when I got home just after 10:00 EST. I'll have to check out the re-run on Fine Living this weekend. I hear you on the foreign car bit. My parents currently live in Pittsburgh but my dad spent a fair amount of time working in Detroit....definitely not areas where I'd recommend pulling in to the driveway behind the wheel of the Nissan. As for rooting from here on in, I'm honestly torn. I'm really kind of "meh" on everybody that's left but I have a sinking feeling that if the producers have their way this is going to be Sunshine's game to lose. Her on camera portrayal just feels too much like Ali Vincent 2.0.

    Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones

I suspect he's probably also had celebrity family members go to bat for him on numerous occasions in the past to no avail. He should bnot be treated any diffferently than anybody else because his last name is Douglas.

    Biggest Loser - Families

Isn't Earth Day coming up soon? I know they've honored it in past seasons and I believe Bob was/is an endorser for the Civic Hybrid. Given the frequency of cross promotions and all, hopefully it's something "earthy" and not "greedy". I'm thinking Makeover Week has got to be coming up real soon now that they are in single digits for remaining contestants. That's usually my favorite episode, but the last few seasons have been rather underwhelming. Let's hope they buck that trend....especially if Drea is there to participate.

So how much did you love the outcome of last night's episode, annabeast? ETA: Looks like next week's episode features two contestants who win cars per the episode description.

    Corey Haim

But where do you draw the line between a doctor playing dumb to the possibility of a patient's doctor shopping and the possibility that the doctor was in fact duped? How involved should a doctor and/or the pharmacies be in this regard? At the end of the day, the only common thread is the patient. I agree that it's a good thing that people are talking about this as being a problem. I just have to question the purity of Brown's motives as well what can be done to change the situation.

    Corey Haim

Serious question here....and feel free to move this to a different forum if need be....but what purpose do any of Jerry Brown's statements serve at this point beyond political grandstanding? Yes, it seems pretty obvious at this point that Corey Haim was doctor shopping with tragic consequences but who other than Corey can really be held accountable for this type of behavior? I am not in the medical or pharmaceutical professions nor am I a resident of CA...just legitimately confused as to why Brown is even "going there" with such voracity.
