I thought the whole point of Taylor Swift is that she's all melodramatic about boys? Given that context, I don't find a bunch of songs about an 8 week "romance" out of the question ;-) Taylor Swift is an idiot but the bigger idiots are those people who date her and don't expect that she is going to make a buck off the relationship by turning it into a song for mass consumption. I firmly believe that someone should sit her down and tell her to shut the fuck up already.

and to think I was thisclose to feeling a little bit of sympathy for Charlie -- not being able to see all kids together because of Brooke -- this kind of action goes along way in explaining why he isn't fighting for his kids with Brooke. Interesting how he can (apparently) make it work with one Mom and not the other. . . .

Interesting. I am sure Charlie is giving her support, but it kills me that their mom gets the child support even though the boys aren't staying with her. Is this normal? The amount of child support is determined by the amount of time the kids are with the custodial/noncustodial parent. The less time the children are with the non custodial parent, the less child support. so even she has them minimal amount of time, she would be entitled to support. It kind of sucks but it is what it is.
