    Natalie Wood case re-opened

I don't know. How did the book do in 2009 --are they trying to shop it now? I just don't think anything will come of this. Just because LAPD has reopened doesn't mean that the prosecutor's office will have enough to prosecute anybody and even though 2 detectives have been assigned to this matter doesn't really mean anything -- they could be part of a cold case squad and they might have moved the case just to keep her from harping on them. LAPD has issued a statement indicating that Wagner is not a person of interest. If what happened above is true, and "RJ" was pissed because he thought was something was going on between Walken and Natalie, then RJ should be the first suspect. Interesting twist on the Gawker speculation: If Wagner and Walken had a thing going, maybe Natalie went off the deep end (excuse the pun) because SHE was upset. I remember thinking that this story was pretty questionable at the time too -- everybody loves a conspiracy -- especially when it involves the rich and famous.

    Natalie Wood case re-opened

An easy claim to make now -- as I am guessing the captain is no longer around. Actually, the Captain is the one that wrote the book. I think it's odd that enough new "evidence" must have appeared for them to re-open the case.... That's what I get for not reading more carefully. Definitely opportunism if the captain is looking to cash in now. I just heard on HLN that Walken seems to have lawyered up. I still don't think anything will come of this, and my opening question still holds especially since this information seems to have come from the captain.

    Natalie Wood case re-opened

Nothing is going to come of this. This is all information that she should have been given 30 years ago -- to have stories change now smacks of opportunism. The classic question on cross examination: "Are you lying now or were you lying then?" Follow up question: "And did you receive any money as a result of your testimoney here today or for the interviews that you have given. . . .?' Seriously? You don't think that that CG/police were all over that boat when it came to shore and that the captain (or other crew member) would not have said something? An easy claim to make now -- as I am guessing the captain is no longer around. Walken and Wagner's reactions will prove interesting.

    Eddie Murphy

I understand what you are saying about the movie being out of theaters at oscar time, but this fiasco is happening now when the movie is in the theaters. Sorry about the lack of diversity, I just find a prime time censored for tv Murphy not funny. Does Puss need to have his fur . . . . .?

    Dakota Fanning

Agree about the talent, but I would have yanked the picture just because its a crap picture. It looks like it was shot with an old Polaroid.

    Eddie Murphy

    1) Apparently the word "fags" 2) As I understand it, the only reason Eddie was doing it was because Brett was producing and had asked him. Once Brett was gone, the reason for Eddie saying yes was gone too. Given the rumors surrounding Murphy, the comments made by Ratner, should also be considered somewhat ironic. As for Murphy leaving? Meh. Who really cares? The most ironic thing about this whole fiasco is that it will drum up a ton of free publicity for Murphy/Ratner's new movie.

    Who'll Divorce Next (version 3.0)?

I sure hope every person who invested in this charade got their money's worth. I didn't watch, didn't buy in to it, or could have given a flyin fuck, but there is something about this that makes me angry. PT Barnum indeed.

Absolutely I will watch this. A potential bitch fight is like a train wreck -- somehow you just can't turn away.

    Project Runway

I like Anya but I am not sure that I buy into the idea that she just learned how to sew 4 motnhs ago -- her dye jobs and the pleating of her last outfit don't look like someone who is inexperienced. I totally disagreed with sending Anthony Ryan home. Joshua should have been sent home two shows ago. I am surprised that Bert is still there but kind of glad -- I like pulling for the underdog. Did I hear a rumor that 7 designers showed at fashion week?

    Who'll Divorce Next (version 3.0)?

Not to mention: 1. Saying that their marriage is 'intact' is simply a fresh way of saying that they are not yet divorced. Therefore, it is a true statement. Fresh Prince of Bel Air

  21. ummmm I am betting girlfriend got abusive with little boy causing him to be either (1) thrown down the stairs; (2) fell down the stairs when shoved. I am betting boyfriend found out and killed girlfriend in retaliation. I am also thinking that if he did it, he was extremely stupid to off her in his house -- so maybe the ex did it.

    Casey Anthony Trial

Along with the other things that the prosecution could not prove, they could not prove that either. If they had, they probably would have gotten a conviction -- tape would keep somebody from breathing -- which would have proved intent, which would have proved murder (or at the very least negligent homicide). Its kind of ironic -- in this day and age where juries cry for forensics -- the prosecution had incriminating forensics, such as the tape, they could not trace back the forensics back to Casey Anthony, i.e, video of her at the local Wal Mart buying the tape -- all they really had was guilt by lifestyle.

who is Howell? Nobody important -- I have a case where one of the parties is Casey Howell. I confuse them all the time. Original post corrected.

    Casey Anthony Trial

You know that old saying, if it walks like a duck, if it talks like a duck, then it probably is a duck? Well, in this case nobody actually saw the duck walking or heard the duck talking. As much as I feel that she may have done it, the simple fact is that in this ocuntry, you should not convict somebody because you feel they are gulity (much less convict them wihen the death penalty is on the line). The prosecution could not prove: how the child died, when the child died, who put the child in the car, who actually did the internet searches. Of course, I acknowledge that this woman is a psychologically pathological liar, but being a liar is not proof that she is a murderer. Be angry all you want at the fact that a quilty woman got off, but be angier at the prosecution for not presenting a case that the jury could convict on. As for Nancy Grace, I will be the first one to represent the family if someone does lynch Anthony. Grace should know better. Yelling "fire" in a crowded theater carries consequences.
