Because the designer was a favorite of Diana's, and apparently Camilla & Carole weren't getting along very well during the wedding planning? Seems a bit of a reach for me, though I did also hear that one of Carole's early dress choices was vetoed by the Queen as being inappropriate (was it sleeveless?) Such drama over relatively trivial issues. But I wasn't a bridezilla, what do I know She vetoes one of Carole's dresses but doesn't veto that joke of a hat that one of granddaughters wore?

When you get your start in acting because your mother arranges for you to play the young female lead in a summer-stock production in which she is the star, you do not get to act like you are a self-made woman. When you go to Spence, you do not get to act like you are a self-made woman. When you can spend thousands an hour on a personal trainer like some of us spend $4 on a latte, you do not get to act like you are a self-made woman. It's not charming to be so clueless about the struggles that the vast majority of people endure to attain half what was handed to you on a silver platter. It's ignorant. It's narcissistic. It's monstrously self-involved. Damn, I'm crabby today. Brilliant. She comes from a position of privilege that most of us aren't born into. This is what makes her smugness so annoying. He's an ass, certainly - but 2 1/2 men is syndicated so his production company is getting money that the exes & kids can be paid from. That's true. Syndication is where the real money is for TV shows. I'd like to know how much is generated from it. eta: You know, I just realized something. If Sheen has a production company that produces the show, how could he have been fired in the first place? I'm a little confused Because the studio hired Sheen then paid the company to produce the show. The production company may be owned by Sheen, but the studio owned Sheen.

ummm, I don't think so -- those medical bills would be coming due regardless of a lawsuit -- more than trying to recoup the medical expenses, he is probably going after damages, such as lost income due to the cancellation of shows, etc. As a long time diabetic, I am willing to bet that Bret has excellent insurance (injectible insulin, needles and test equipment are not cheap) --

What a completely sad, fucked up situation. Some people go off their meds so they can drink or do other drugs. They choose to do one or the other because they can't do both. Anybody who says they can heal themselves through the power of thier mind may recognize that they have a problem, but that not that need help dealing with it. This is awful on any number of levels, not the least of which include (1) I am not sure that a friend would out a another friend this way; (2) its incredibly hurtful to his family (and I don't necessarily mean Kelly); (3) the fact that she has no impulse control is just plain sad. Nobody was making a legal fuss over it that I am aware (he is suing someone a la Cruise?) To MC: out of context? Honey, I not sure there is another context to this quote. I would agree if this were an American cast -- but those British -- they seem to have a different mind set when it comes to fame and fortune for the most part.

As much as I love Tim Gunn, I won't watch this show again. It is very hard for me to see how Gretchen could win after the judges trashed her mini runway looks as "granola." As a producer, Heidi needs to dump MK and Nina and bring in new blood. Fashion should not be about "marketability" it should be about daring to push the envelope -- look at Alexander McQueen. I couldn't bring myself to watch the show after peeking ahead on Blogging Project Runway. I am disappointed for Mondo and see only runaway ego ahead for Gretchen. Team Mondo -- I hope a deserving fashion house picks you up and nutures your talent.

It probably wouldn't hurt to add Fran Drescher to that list as well.....just to be safe. He (my friend) actually wanted to know if Alice was still alive- I think not but couldn't remember for sure..... According to IMDB she is -- she was born in 1926

i am totally Team Mondo -- I am concerned about the previews though where they talk about "this was the closest..." To me, it isn't even close -- I would have taken Michael C over either Andy or Gretchen. Andy got in because he is very avant garde and Gretchen got in, well, I am not sure why she got in unless its because she makes good television. As for Michael C, I feel bad that he appeared to more concerned about telling his parents about his loss then he was about the actual loss. As for his lover "outing him to his parent" I think I pick a new lover. (Granted, there is no way to know the dynamics of that relationship, but I think it couldn't have done anything but make a bad situation worse.) Can't wait to see the bitch that is Ivy on the reunion show.
