Ditto that. What a schmuck. --------------------

That was very touching, and it probably is true for a lot of people who are alone. That line alone made me tear up. It would have made me tear up too if I had seen it but not for the sentimentality behind his affection for his pets, but because he has fucked up his life to the point to where all he has are his dogs. As for the changes in his appearances, I am not sure that I blame him, so much as I blame bad plastic surgery. Did anybody see Sprinsteen's speech when he won? He could have been talking about Mickey and not the character in the move (as pitiched to him by Rourke).

Bobby have you seen this: Warner Brothers Has Put All DC Comics Movies on Hold January 8, 2009 Source: IESB http://www.firstshowing.net/2009/01/08/war...movies-on-hold/ by Alex Billington An interesting update today regarding Warner Brothers and the DC Comics side of things. While that does include Watchmen, that's not exactly what this is about. IESB recently talked with David S. Goyer, who is credited for coming up with the story in The Dark Knight. When asked about the status of other comic book projects he's involved in (e.g. The Flash), Goyer told them that "a lot of the DC movies right now at Warner Brothers are all on hold while they figure out — they're going to come up with some new plan, methodology, things like that — so everything has just been pressed pause on at the moment." Before we dissect his statements even further, we'll let Goyer briefly explain why Warner Brothers is in that holding pattern. "It was the double header of both Iron Man and The Dark Knight coming out, so more than ever I think they realized — I think DC Comics was responsible for 15% of Warner Brothers' revenue this year, something crazy like that, so they realized that comic books — it's become a new genre and it's become one of the most successful genres." Throw in the combination of the hype for Watchmen and legal woes of Watchmen, and I can understand why DC Comics is saturating the minds of the execs there. So what does this mean? Well, if anything, it means bigger and better movies are on their way. As audience members, we already know how big the comic book movie genre is, but I think Warner Brothers is just now realizing the ultimate potential of the DC Universe. I'm guessing part of this holding pattern also has to do with Marvel stepping out in front with their plans for The Avengers movie. Maybe the execs at Warner Brothers want to finally try and make a real Justice League movie a reality. Meaning they need to coordinate their efforts to now focus on crossovers and so much more. Either way, it's an exciting future ahead!

Wonder how much the producer of Austraila paid people to pull this one off.
-
That really isn't news -- when Barbara WaWa interviewed her, it was in her wing of the house.

Efron....Depp Efron....Depp Efron ...Depp gee, tough choice. not. PS What are they going to do bring him on as Dep's son?
-
I don't know, but I would like too -- I don't know whose mind to "read."
-
Naw, baby...United Artists, at least for the time being. Thank God.
-
Isn't GMD part of Universal?

I don't think that even begins to cover it -- and paps wonder why, for the most part and with the notable exceptions to the rule (Britney, LLo), celebs think that the paps are pond scum.

Excuse me? I think it is a smoker's/living out in Palm Springs face - and she looks far older than 51. She also needs to choose a better foundation. The color is just wrong.

From MSN: Anne Hathaway's reputation wasn't the only thing dinged by former boyfriend Raffaello Follieri's underhanded business dealings. Seems her jewelry box also took a hit. The Smoking Gun reports that the FBI recently "recovered" several "lavish" baubles bestowed upon the actress by her con artist ex, who is expected to spend at least five years in the pokey after pleading guilty this week to wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy. Among the items that Hathaway, who's not mentioned by name in court documents, purportedly handed over to the feds: two Rolex watches -- one gold, one silver; two gold rings, one with "clear stones," which may be FBI-speak for diamonds; a five-strand pearl necklace; a silver bracelet dotted with "clear stones"; and a silver chain with a cross and "blue and clear stones." Anne opens up in the October issue of W about her breakup with Follieri after four years of togetherness, explaining, "It's a situation where the rug was pulled out from under me all of a sudden. But just as suddenly, my friends threw another rug back under me." She then tearfully notes, "I've been shown such kindness. Not everyone gets that. A lot of people go through tough times alone."

Maybe Matt only had sex with Camillla for the few days each month she was ovulating, because he was only interested in getting her pregnant and not so much in the actual boy-girl sex? Hoya's comment about women (referring to Ashlee Simpson) having "girlie" parts comes to mind for some reason.

That's quite a leap for you to make - and given that the episode with his mom/sister as been deemed a non-episode, I repeat my comment that Ted C is talking out of his ass on this one. he may be snorting lines as long as the 405 freeway -- but the above is still a leap. For myself, it has been my experience that people get cranky when withdrawing -- not using. and no I am not a superfan.
-
How did you get from a loss of sleep to a drug problem? And Ted C is talking out of his ass on this one. Losing a lot of sleep while filming a movie over a year ago does not account for recent (count them one) alleged outburst.

True, but if it is more a dayplanner than a "dear diary" sort of thing, and they're trying to show who he was meeting with or trips out of the country or things like that--factual things, not "hearsay", that might be why they wanted the books. Okay -- except that an appointment in her day planner is not an appointment he kept and just because you kept the meeting doesn't mean you can prove up what took place at the meeting. (just playing devil's advocate here -- like I said he seems to be a tool.)
-
Except that she broke up with him before he was arrested. She was conveniently out of the country when he got popped. I have a privacy objection to the seizing her diaries for the purposes of prosecuting him. If I were her, I would be jumping up and down I I were him, I would be jumping and down at trial objecting to the introduction of her diaries as evidence against me. Its called hearsay. Just because she wrote it down, doesn't make it true. Don't get me wrong, based on what little information has come out, the guy is a tool, but still. . . .
-
i had heard on the radio this morning that they didn't call -- people in the room next door called.

Ahem, you break up with a guy and you leave your diaries? Convenient much.
