Lindsay Lohan still broke and a mess

Petty I know, but isn't it Ruse? Maybe I'm just tired. BTW, Coke... Consider me a doubting Jane.

Lindsay Lohan still broke and a mess

I dunno, ever since I read about the Judge and the previous rehab site mess -- I figured there were probably grounds for a lawsuit and Lohan would be let out. It's obvious she has a problem, and they are not even allowing the guideline 30 days. It smells of backroom deals.

Poll: Will Sandy and Jesse Divorce?

She can't NOT divorce him with the racist rumors and now apparently there might be video chat logs with the nazi chick.

    What are you reading?

I just read a wonderful book. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. It's narrated by Death, and is about growing up in Hitler Germany. It isn't so much about the horrors, although they make their appearance, it's about life. It has such beautiful lines that just made me catch my breath. Warning: You will cry at the end of the book -- but it is firmly in my top ten.

    What are you reading?

Hee! I love this reading group. Corrections did payoff in the end, however, only in the context of the story. I would have never picked it up, had I known what I was in for. I am currently reading We Need to Talk About Kevin. Um WOW. It is VERY disturbing. I say this as a mother of an impossible to please child. I so totally understood the younger years. I don't know if I had postpartum depression, but I do know I was clinically depressed for approximately 5 years after his birth. It was like reading my diary. I do want to say after he hit 5 and could communicate, things got better. I stopped having to ask God for strength every day. School is painful, but he is (now) loving and empathetic. I was sooo worried. I still worry about him being an able adult, but I have faith. He's 16 and finally *wants* to go to school this year. My only nit. Evan Ramsey. I lived in Bethel when that went down. My son was in school right next door. The highschool and the little kids school are right next to eachother. He didn't start shooting in Math class. He got up, got his grandfathers gun -- Oh yea, the night before he called his friends and told them to bring video cameras and to be up at the library for lunch. He hid the gun outside and grabbed it during lunch. 11ish - I know when we got the call. He came in with the gun to the lobby where people hung out to eat and chat during lunch, and no one thought anything because of ROTC. He shot the athlete - God forgive me, I cannot remember his name. The principal came out of his office which was upper center of the lobby (btw the library overhangs the lobby, his buds got a great view) to save the children. He put someone behind him and tried to reason with the ... whateverthefuckheis. He was shot - The admin dragged him into one of the offices. It was no use. Renee Athanas was the art teacher - his art teacher in fact, stood in front of the athlete and kept talking to Evan, while covering the athlete. He liked Renee. Hell all of the broken kids loved Renee. She was an art teacher there when I went to highschool. She was a liberal hippy, and believed in expression through art would and could help anyone. She was the one who stopped the shooting. The last I heard of Renee was her resignation, she couldn't teach anymore because she hated her students. Ah yes, why? Only one student, right? Because of those kids up in the library... especially the ones who brought videocameras. They didn't tell a fucking soul, and for some reason they couldn't be charged with anything. Cops went around the next day to the parents advising them it would be a good time to move. I am still bitter about it to this day. It jars me with bitterness everytime I read his name in that book, and again when the details are wrong.

    What are you reading?

I've decided that Revolutions is def a winter book. I just cannot get into it yet. I've been reading Corrections this week. I cannot quite figure out why all the awards and I'm more then halfway in, it's like a study of mental problems in a family and seems to insinuate everyone is like that... blah I dunno. Looks like I'll have to pick up We Need to Talk About Kevin. Need to be in a certain frame of mind. Finished Ruins (reading tons of books while finishing Corrections.) Disliked the ending ~ was a pointless watch of suffering. Special Topics in Clamity Physics - Eh... Good read until the end, no bang for the buck. The book tho I haven't seen on this list that affected me deeply and I still think about is History of Love. OMG I was weeping like a 3 year old by page 14, and it took that heartbreak and stomped and kicked it as the grand finally (sp). It was a study in a type of misery, but really, really touched me.

    Rosie O'Donnell

My point wasn't to call people haters, just to say WE ARE DIVIDED by those two terms. The actual fight that ended it was Rosie asking her if she thought that Rosie had said that Rosie thought the troops were terrorists. That was the question. Instead of anyone even looking at the question, we are arguing about precieved 'good' and 'evil' or whatever. I'm just saying -- there is an answer to that question, that is pretty apparent. Ya'll can slam me and whatever... But I get so frustrated seeing some of this, because we will never get it together if we can't discuss an issue without all this other stuff in the way. Your lifestyle, my lifestyle... blah blah blah. I dunno, LOL this is def the wrong spot for politics, but I felt it was unfair. Now imagine if I put a "Oh just wait, if Britney goes to the clubs past midnight and we say anything, we'll be accused of being Britney party haters" ... It too will happen It's just that kinda thread.

    Rosie O'Donnell

I wonder ... Seriously - How much Elisabeth has contributed to the troops? While you may not see it on fox news or cnn, do a little search on Rosie and the troops. I wonder ... If Elisabeth thought Rosie was calling the troops terrorists - why she didn't go the whole way and insist that Rosie was funding terrorists. I wonder ... Does Elisabeth? Just sayin' There was an answer to Rosies question, and it was provable and verifiable. But whatever, carry on the divisive hate... It makes ya feel so much better
