Soap star responds to Harris' 'D-bag' Tweet: 'You can get your teeth knocked in for that kind of nonsense,' he tells THR. Iconic daytime actor Eric Braeden did not take to kindly to being called 'a D-bag' by How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris on Friday. Following Harris' Twitter attack, Braeden shot back with some well chosen words of this own, saying that Harris "needs to be spanked" and that he could "get his teeth knocked in for that kind of nonsense." "It was utterly inappropriate. He's a little boy," Braeden tells The Hollywood Reporter. The Young and Restless star said he would not administer any beating or spankings to Harris. "I need a worthy adversary," he says. "I don't even know who this fellow is." Harris had objected to Braeden dropping out of an episode of How I Met Your Mother at the last minute because the part was not "substantial" enough -- and then wrote the offensive Tweet. Harris did apologize, Tweeting later: "Now I feel bad for the D-bag comment. Don't know the guy personally. I'm just fiercely protective of our show." But the damage was done. "I don't have a Twitter thing," says Braeden. "But you have to be careful in this world." Braeden did confirm he dropped out of the program because he was "exhausted" due to work and recent hip surgery and because the part only required two lines -- which he found out about at the last minute. "Two lines, I don't do that for anyone," he says. But in the end he called for peace on Earth. “It’s Christmas time and I will forgive him for my verbal transgressions," he says.

I actually do believe she has staying power. Reasons being: She has a huge fan base(of girls, tweens)... She can actually sing at least in Pop or Country circles. The marketing of her toys, clothing, bedsheets (maybe bongs next),merchandise is brilliant...in that it is damn near imposssible to not see young girls without something Hannah Montana splashed all over it. Age. She's not yet 20...so she's young enough to recover and possibly adopt another persona. She's been trying to cross into edgier fare with the pole dancing and young teen love movies. However where she is teetering close to Britney Spears territory (I called that downfall...even though some Superfans didn't want to believe it)...is either she is not listening to her handlers or she doesn't have good handlers to help her. If she had good handlers, that video should've never seen the light of day...the videos of her singing (ba dump, bump), as well as the bong video, even if she is just being a teenager.

Add another couple to the celebrity splits of 2010 list: Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson have separated. Us Weekly reports that the couple "are being very civil about it," and that they split about two weeks ago. "We entered our relationship with love and it's with love and kindness we leave it," the couple said in a joint statement. According to the Us report, Johansson initiated the split. "The big problem with their relationship is the distance," a source told the magazine. "They spent a lot of time apart when they are working." Reynolds, 34, has been working on "Green Lantern." Johansson, 26, most recently appeared in "Iron Man 2," and has three other films in production, according to IMDB. Reynolds and Johansson married in a low-key ceremony near Vancouver, B.C., in September 2008. Rumors that the couple were having trouble began to circulate last summer.

Golly, I sure did leave off John Mayer. I finally made my pick...and it was Dina Lohan. *stands up on soapbox* This douchebag has constantly denied that her daughter has a problem from the very beginning. She blames the media, tabloids, the industry, the courts, judges, producers...everyone with a beating heart has had Dina's finger pointed directly at them. In a Today Show interview this year, she couldn't even recall how many times her oldest daughter had been in rehab and didn't feel the least bit embarrassed or upset by it. But in all fairness, none of us know how many tears she's cried in private. Although, it would be a tremendous thing to hear her own up her share of the blame for her daughters spiral and make a vow to clean up her own life as well as devoting herself to keeping Linds and her other children from spiraling further. This admission (as well as Lindsays) could give some degree of hope that her daughter would improve, even it means getting away from the cameras entirely(yeah right). So she's a douche and the doucheiest of douchebags, who had a hand in nearly cost her own daughter her life...I didn't even bring up the partying they did together years before. When I see Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen, Jesse James, with marriage plans or in the company of a woman...my ears suddenly ring with a ticking sound, like the stop watch on 60 Minutes. Seconds ticking away that could eventually lead to an explosion of violence, rage, abuse. So to me, their douche-ness is a given(not acceptable). But I do see they are running away with the poll, at the present time. Before a troll appears and instigates that I am blaming the woman...I am not...I am looking at the men's histories. I am not blaming the woman they marry/date. But geez, the women have to know that these dudes have a substantial amount of baggage that could endanger themselves, regardless of the money and honey that oozes from his lips (if y'all know what I mean). Agreed. Porno film was an awful choice for her anyway. I think DWTS is one of the few chances she has at public redemption. If she went on, she'd probably do well and at least prove that she has some work ethic. Plus, it pays well. I'd watch! Yes. We can watch the entire trainwreck unfold right in front of our very eyes...there will be her Mom, Dina front and center (maybe she'll do a classic drunken interview-rant like Audrina Patridge's Mom)...Dad, Michael will obviously pick a fight with the judges when they boot his little angel's ass off..Hot dang...i think I might have 2 watch. :4biggrin: I don't see how this helps Linds's career. In other words: Handler's jokes about Jolie are pretty stale. "That should tell you that you should get some new material," comedian and Handler round-table member Josh Wolf replied. "Maybe it's time for a new joke." "If I've learned nothing from this, it's to write some new jokes," Handler said.

The Black Eyed Peas' frontwoman has announced a release date for her hotly anticipated solo debut just as the album's first single, "London Bridge," climbs to the top of the Billboard charts. Her lovely lady humps must be in quite the tizzy. Fergie has announced plans to drop The Dutchess Sept. 19, marking not only her solo debut, but the first album released off fellow Pea Will.I.Am's record label--the aptly, if uninspired, named Will.I.Am Music Group. While the songbird, whose real name is Stacy Ferguson, has yet to address the story behind her album's title, it's been widely reported that it's a play on the nickname she shares with Sarah Ferguson, Britain's Duchess of York. The fact that her debut single references the U.K. could either be a sly substantiation of the rumors or simply a coincidence. In any case, while the album is billed as a solo effort that doesn't mean Fergie didn't get some help. Will.I.Am, who produced most of the record's tracks, lends his voice to the album, as do Ludacris and Rita Marley. And if the debut single's performance is any indication, the album is primed to be a success. "London Bridge" ascended to the top of the Billboard singles charts this week, reaching number one on both the Hot 100 and Hot Digital Songs charts, as well as nabbing the top slot on the iTunes Top 100. The track debuted July 17 at an unimpressive 84 on the Hot 100, only to make the jump to five in its second week. One passenger tells us Duhamel was "very rude" and "taunting the attendant." We're told the flight attendant asked Josh to turn off the device three separate times -- and on the third time Josh laughed at his request. We're told Duhamel's reaction infuriated the attendant, who then called for backup -- and the plane, which was already on the runway, was turned back to the gate. Two officers eventually boarded the plane and escorted Duhamel off of the aircraft. We're told passengers were pissed -- because the incident further delayed the flight. Before boarding the plane, we're told Josh was in the airport bar watching the Cleveland/Miami game. Duhamel's rep told TMZ Josh was texting on his BlackBerry about his flight being delayed. The rep adds, "He's sorry."

Celebs Love Jennifer Aniston, So Why Doesn't America? By Sarah Crow Posted Dec 1st 2010 06:29PM Notoriously acerbic comedienne Chelsea Handler went on vacation in Mexico with buddy Jennifer Aniston over Thanksgiving and, despite her famously sharp tongue, had nothing but nice things to say about the actress. Handler, who appeared on last night's episode of 'The Tonight Show,' told host Jay Leno of their trip, "[Jennifer] was sweet enough to take me on vacation with her ... I was trying not to get photographed next to her, for obvious reasons." Handler isn't the only celebrity to praise Aniston in the press. 'The Bounty Hunter' co-star and rumored flame Gerard Butler told Us Magazine of the actress, "She's like my best buddy. She's so down-to-earth, so easy going. She's incredibly self-deprecating and again, just alive!" While it seems that Aniston has some Hollywood heavyweights in her corner, she can't seem to shake the negative press she earned for her most famous role: the former Mrs. Brad Pitt. Although it's been over five years since Aniston and Pitt divorced, rarely a week goes by without the actress's rumored romantic entanglements appearing in the press, often painting a less-than-flattering portrait of Aniston as some kind of down-and-out spinster. Despite her fame, fortune and reputation as a genuinely nice person, it seems as though many media outlets aren't ready to let Aniston step out of the shadow of her former relationship or that of Pitt and current partner, Angelina Jolie. Many celebrities whose relationships have crumbled amid rumors of infidelity have received support from the media and fans, but Aniston has consistently been lampooned by the press while Pitt and Jolie have become beloved Hollywood royalty. The question is, why? The fact of the matter is, Aniston's situation represents some of our worst fears. She is not only beautiful but successful and, by all accounts, a lovely individual, but she still couldn't make her seemingly perfect relationship with Pitt work. To make matters worse, she was allegedly left for a younger, more successful and, by some accounts, more beautiful woman. While most celebrity mistresses or rebounds are criticized in the press, Jolie was a respected actress and beauty icon before she became involved with Pitt. Jolie's reputation hardly took a hit when she announced she was pregnant with Pitt's child only a year after his divorce, leading many to believe the two had been involved while Pitt was still married. According to Dr. Lorraine B. Cates, a New York City psychoanalyst and couple's therapist, "Angelina Jolie projects an all-knowingness that people like to feel. Our culture is having a very hard time dealing with just being human, something Aniston projects so well. With the enormity of all the cultural changes assaulting us, there seemingly is a return to wanting gods and goddesses." Despite Aniston's discretion regarding her post-Pitt relationships, her every move has been critiqued by the press, with everything from her looks to her reported flings being deemed "sad." Even 'Project Runway' charmer Tim Gunn weighed in on the actress, telling OK!, "Sometimes I think she has 'desperate character' written on her." Cates says that the constant criticism of Aniston is less indicative of a problem with the actress herself, but with the culture she's a part of. "There is a need to dissect life into good, bad, right and wrong, and the press does that. Jennifer Aniston is an example of a complicated human being that is striving to find meaning in her life," she says. "The culprit is the press promulgating the tacit and sometimes not so tacit message that being a real human being is simply not acceptable -- that's what's sad in this scenario, certainly not Aniston."

Leslie Nielsen Dies 21 minutes ago by TMZ Staff Legendary funny man Leslie Nielsen died today of complications of pneumonia in a hospital near his home in Fort Lauderdale, this according to his agent. He was 84. His agent tells TMZ Nielsen passed surrounded by his wife and friends at about 5:34 PM ET. Nielsen was best known for his roles in "Airplane" and the "Naked Gun" series. His "Airplane" co-star, Barbara Billingsley, passed away last month. Ted Striker: Surely you can't be serious. Rumack: I am serious... and don't call me Shirley. Elaine Dickinson: A hospital? What is it? Rumack: It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now. RIP Frank Drebin...

Watched the movie, Easy A this past week. I have to say...this is a surprisingly great film. Normally I do hate every film...but I think this was my second favorite film this summer after Inception. I recommend that people check it out. I thought it paid a tremendous amount of respect to the late, great, John Hughes (it was a bit of a tribute). Emma Stone...she's going to be the next Julia Roberts...or even a bigger star. She rocked in this flick. Check it out...I think it's also time to put a best film of Summer Poll as well.
