Kate looks more like a movie actress to me than a pop star so it wont be long before she starts doing a few cameo film roles .... she s still so young... 24 !... wow, wot a babe !

Amazing that Marie turned down the lead in the Movie ... Grease... the part that eventually went to Olivia Newton John... It made Olivia a very big star and zillions of dollars too ! The movie became one of the biggest movies of the 1970s and has become a classic Looking back, I wonder if Marie ever regrets her decision ?

Thinking about it, those bands in the 60s were pretty static on stage, of course most of the guys were wired up to guitars etc the shadows managed a kind of step, syncronized dance... but Mick is different, he loves to move, to dance , to react, he is a born showman a very bright guy, a mega talented songwriter... good looking too ( until recently ) Lets face it , Mick had everything in the 60s and 70s huge fame, wealth, success and the adoration of an army of women.... who could ask for more ? As for touring and live performing they ve outdone the Beatles a hundred times over.

with bands I try to figure out just who is the writing power behind them... am I wrong in thinking the writing genius behind Genesis... is Mike Rutherford ?

they had a great run in the 1970s and were huge all over the world, but still America just did nt seem aware of them and did nt catch on to them when they were really hot. The film Mama Mia seems to have changed all that and Abba are very big in America but of course they will never perform there now.... or anywhere else really !
