That scene was not demeaning in any way.....****spoiler****Her husband was executed, her son was stuck and killed by a car, she was trying to scratch out a living as a waitress. She had a total melt down and was looking for a release, someone or something to make her feel good and forget. Men aren't the only ones that do that. And if Halle was demeaning by what she did, then Billy Bob Thorton demeaned himself as well. And there was definite chemistry between the two.

I agree Martha was guilty of insider trading but she is not the only one who has done this in the history of the stock exchange. Those good ole' boys have been trading secrets for years. She should have paid her $30,000 fine, 3 cents to everybody else, and put it behind her. In three months it would have been completely forgotten.

Ha Buffgirl! The mink farm was started back in the 30's and my cousin took over when my uncle retired. My cousin is much older that I am, and when I was a little kid they had a pet mink. They declawed him and removed his canines but it was still a nasty little thing....beautiful pelt though! This will get another argument going: faux fur is very harmful to the environment. The processing releases harmful chemicals in the air, worse than a tannery. So if you gotta wear fur, the real stuff is more environmentally friendly.

There was a blind item supposedly about CZJ and Michael that before they could dine at the White House, they did background check on them, just a formality. According to them, CZJ shaved 10 years off her age. She does not look like she is still in her mid-30's.

Good question Temptrous - what kind of blood are they throwing, animal? Human? I also wanted to ask if PETA goes after all people/groups who wear furs or just celebrities because they have more media exposure. I live in Wisconsin and the native people wear buckskins and wolf, racoon and fox pelts at their pow-wows. It's still a part of their culture and religion....would PETA go after them too?

Yep, CZJ is Queen of the Divas. Didn't she make some comment that a million dollars is just loose change to her or something like that? She is getting more well known for her lawsuits than her acting abilities. She was fabulous in Chicago and did deserve her Oscar, I'll give her that.

Throwing tomatos/blood is still a criminal act, damage to personal property. PETA has some good ideas, they are just going about it the wrong way. I don't see how a violent act solves a problem.

Um, I think what they mean was if you are a TEENAGER they are wonderful parents....what 16 year old kid wouldn't love filthy rich parents, don't need to get a job like the rest of the teenage kids do - so they can get a work eithic and contribute to society when they are adults? Hmmmm, a Drug Counselor? Sharon could just do what my mother did, I get in any kind of trouble and she beats me. Problem solved! Acutally she didn't hit that hard but I knew what would happened to me if I messed up.

I think Ozzy and Sharon acted more like good friends than PARENTS to their kids. Big mistake.

I watched the Osbournes and got a hoot out of it, but I agree with ya. No rules, no structure and kids are just going to do what they please. I guess I don't understand why Sharon is so surprised by her kids behavior. They were an accident waiting to happen.
