    I hardly travel anywhere, so I'm glad to hear you had a great time.

     

    My husband and i got a little camper this year and we spent a lot of 2017 taking the kids camping. Nowhere particularly special, but it was good to get away. Even better -- the site we frequent barely gets any service, so I was forced to disconnect from my phone/tablet/computer and just RELAX.

    Yeah, I got to listen to my SIL hold forth on this subject not long ago. She thought all the women Weinstein slept with were complicit because they got something out of it. Like where do I even begin...?

     

    You can't tell her anything about anything (she knows it all and always has, for as long as I've known her) so I just shut my mouth and slugged my drink. The alcohol helped, but not enough.

    I feel like we should start a Please No list. People we hope never make the perv list. Im really hoping that Tom Hanks and Mr. Rogers (necessary after Cosby) stay clean. Ill add Jimmy Carter and Dan Rather too.

     

    I agree but I'm superstitious that even THINKING their names in connection to, as Lainey calls it, the Hollywood Pervert Advent Calendar will cause them to somehow be outed.

    I'm with Hoya - I don't have a snarky feeling either.

     

    I get why people might think she's a social climber, but Harry brings a lot to the table himself (money, fame, and title aside). He's cute, charming, witty, intelligent, charitable -- I mean, what's not to like? The royal bit is just icing on the cake. It's not like he's some ogre that Meghan is magically head over heels with -- who doesn't love Harry?!?

    Nah. Charlotte is living with Carole Bouquet's son. Not a chance of the thing with Brad being true, alas.

     

    Can we just pretend for a few days?!? Id like to begin my entry into fan fiction writing this week... Angelina picked up the newspaper and just as quickly let it drop to the floor... No, she muttered, then the muttering turned into a deep primal scream. Im picturing a whole Mommy Dearest level freak out.

    Also, if you read to the end of the article, it discusses how Denise Richards caught Sheen with porn featuring what appeared to be underaged males and females, prompting her to take the kids from him. I'm pretty sure that's something we've speculated thanks to blind items but had never seen confirmed. (At least, this is the first time I'm seeing a major publication comment so directly about it.)

    I remember when Trump was running for President he said that if he won, mass shootings wouldn't happen because he wouldn't allow it. Does anyone else remember that? Really wish he would keep that campaign promise. :(

     

    If only....

     

    Part of me thinks that when these things happen, the perpetrators of these crimes should never be named, should never have their photo shown. They should be stricken from all records like they did back in Ancient Egypt.

     

    I can't watch the news at all anymore. It's just one anxiety attack after another.

    Oh duh - now I get it ;-) I could NOT come up with anything yesterday, but yeah, that ICEBERG in caps is a pretty big clue. I'm so dumb....Or numbed, I can't think!

    Yeah from what I understand, the Papadop business is the much bigger story than the Manafort one. Papadop was arrested OVER THE SUMMER and not a word ever leaked until it was all unsealed today. Meanwhile, he pled guilty and has been cooperating with the Mueller investigation all this time.
