akua123 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2010 Yes, I am actually starting a topic about the Marmaduke movie :4biggrin: - I have a six year old so this is actually a step up from the normal cartoons. It was actually fairly entertaining, in a not having to think kind of way. Some funny jokes/references for the parents throughout - that the kids probably didn't get. I had to post because my man Kiefer was the voice of one of the (mean) dogs in the movie, and was in full bad-guy mode (voice wise, he has a different tone of voice for roles like that). I always find it funny seeing him in a role like this, then seeing an interview with him where he's all soft-spoken and so different from those kinds of roles. Owen Wilson as Marmaduke was fine, a good voice for the dog/good fit - I couldn't stop thinking about Marley and Me, another movie my six year old was obsessed with for a while. It's his usual kind of charming/dopey/goofy role that he plays a lot. Actually, come to think of it, this may be the first time I've ever started a topic!
