Fergie told People Magazine that she's "thrilled" to be engaged to Josh Duhamel. She also showed off her new rock while performing at the Borgata in Atlantic City last night. She went on to say, "I feel like the luckiest girl in the world." During her set she dedicated her song, All That I Got, to Josh. She told the audience, "This song is about loving someone for their inner beauty. I hope you all have someone like that in your lives. I do."

 

BARF! Yeah, I'm sure she's thrilled and shocked! Someone actually married her fug ass. Fuggie's life was destined for trailer parks and getting high in a dumpster while hiding from the fuzz. She fucking lucked out.

Her resolution for 2008 is "just to be less Fergalicious," the 32-year-old singer jokes in a video posting on FunnyorDie.com. "It's kind of old now.

The singer goes on to add that she is a sexual "freak" who loves to express herself in bed.

 

"I am a very sexual person behind closed doors," the Sun quoted the 32-year-old singer, as saying.

 

"That's the part of my personality I'm playing with when I sing," she added.

"Nope, not at all," Terri Ferguson said Tuesday on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM radio show in response to a question about the rumor that her daughter was pregnant.

 

"Did you see her at the Grammys?" said the mom, who described Fergie, 32, as "skinny, skinny, skinny."

 

Speaking to PEOPLE, Fergie's rep, Hillary Siskind, similarly replied “Not true" when asked about a story on Tuesday's New York Post Page Six. The item said Fergie was readjusting her and fiancé Josh Duhamel's wedding date on account of an impending arrival.

 

No Change in Plans

As for scheduling plans, "We are not moving up the wedding," Ferguson clarified on behalf of her daughter. In fact, the engaged couple "haven't met with a wedding planner yet."

 

Asked what might have triggered rumors of an early wedding and a pregnancy, Ferguson told Seacrest, "I think people can't believe people do get married just because they love each other, not because they are pregnant."

 

Ferguson also said she's in no hurry for her daughter to provide her with grandkids. "Not soon, soon," she said about whether she expected Fergie to start a family right away. "A couple years. They are newly engaged, Let them plan the wedding and all that."

Michael Jackson got some help from Will.i.am and Fergie, among others, on 'Thriller 25.' But Billboard says the album is still an oldie, and Sony is not pleased.

 

The folks at Sony are not thrilled that Michael Jackson's "Thriller 25" is on Billboard's catalogue - or oldies - chart.

 

Even though it's No. 1.

 

Label sources argue that Jackson's 25th-anniversary album is full of new material and should be on the music-biz bible's Top 200 list.

 

Sure, it has Jackson's memorable hits "Billie Jean," "Beat It" and "The Girl Is Mine."

 

But one source says, "It has six new songs. Michael went into the studio and recorded with Kanye West, Fergie, Akon, Will.i.Am - and there's a brand-new song from Michael, and videos. It beat Grammy winners Amy Winehouse and Herbie Hancock, with 167,000 crossing the counter. Yet for reasons unfathomable to folks in the music industry, Billboard has decided to relegate it to the catalogue chart. Catalogue makes it look like same ol' same ol', but with a new cover.

 

"Michael expected it to be on the Top 200 chart."

 

Billboard chart guru Geoff Mayfield tells us: "We were approached by Sony and Sony BMG to consider 'Thriller 25' as a current album. But we had to be consistent with hundreds, if not thousands, of reissues that have come to the market. There have actually been new issues of classic albums that include even more new material. We didn't just make the decision on our own. We contacted major retailers [like Wal-Mart and Best Buy], and that was the consensus."

 

Mayfield was conciliatory. "I always understand when people are disappointed when they don't show as high up on the chart, or on the chart they wanted." But Jackson should be happy, he added: "It's the largest sum for an album on the catalogue chart to be sold in 10 years."

Acts announced for Beale Street fest

 

MEMPHIS, Tenn.(AP) - Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Santana and Aretha Franklin are among the big names slated for this spring's 32nd annual Beale Street Music Festival.

 

Other artists in the complete lineup announced Thursday for the May 2-4 festival include Lou Reed, Buddy Guy, the Black Crowes, Michael McDonald, Jerry Lee Lewis, Cat Power, Colbie Caillat, Ben Folds, Keb' Mo' and Johnny Lang.

 

The three-day event features more than 60 acts and is part of the Memphis in May International Festival.
