Savannah Guthrie just went live on the today show with a breaking news that Matt Lauer was fired effective immediately. She is basically crying on the air and they just found out about an hour or so before the show started. Hoda is on with her. Based on the gossip we have had here, I told my husband I thought he would go down soon.

I just feel like she seems a little (lot) fake. Maybe thats the rumors of run away social climbing that have surrounded her, even in Canada. And Im totally not buying the I didnt really know anything about him when we met. For me it sort of feels like one of those relationships where one party falls hard and is totally all in super fast and the other party isnt necessarily in it that deeply and so has all of the power in the relationship.

Honestly, I havent recovered from Cosby. A few months before his shit hit the fan I had taken my (very young then) kids to see him live. My son listened to his comedy routines at bedtime and knew them by heart. I think the only one that could hit me harder would be Mr. Rogers or Jimmy Carter.

This dirtbag has been very publicly called out on this for years. Not “everyone whispered about it” but flat out been in print before and no action taken against him.
