The more common way a show has come back these days is if another network or streaming service steps in (such as how The Killing moved to Netflix and Friday Night Lights went to DirecTV) or the current age of revivals that has brought back shows like Prison Break and Gilmore Girls much later, if in slightly different forms. Timeless hasnt exactly been a ratings giant for NBC. The series premiered to 7.6 million viewers, but dropped steadily ever since. By the time of its Season 1 finale, the show had only averaged 4.6 million viewers over the course of its 16 episodes. Kripke along with co-creator and co-showrunner Shawn Ryan are aiming to make Season 2 even more family-friendly, and the executives at Sony believe Timeless can become a long-running, family-friendly franchise. Sources stated the studio even offered a majority of profits to NBC in order to secure the renewal. When NBC initially pulled the plug on Timeless on Wednesday, the outcry from fans was swift and loud. But no one was more upset than Ghostbusters star and Saturday Night Live cast member Leslie Jones, who made her feelings known on Twitter. WTF?! Agree with the above. I sent emails to my reps within a half hour of hearing about the firing. All of my reps have been vocal and active (I mean, one of them ran for VP with Hillary, so he's on my side) but they are in the minority and have no leverage here. It will take people like (stop vomit reflux) McCain and Graham to step it up and push. i don't think there are enough masses to do it in the public. My Trump family members are digging in.

Bitchy of me I'm sure, but I'm a mom. Looking at the top picture in that article... not the kids fault. It clearly looks like they dressed themselves and groomed themselves. I picked my battles and sure my kids went to the grocery store wearing batman costumes and rain boots occasionally. But they are clearly at a premier where she's expecting paparazzi and they are more or less representing their product, which is in fact their family. She should have at least made the kids brush their hair and look like they bathed recently. Grocery store run vs red carpet appearance. That's a battle I probably would have picked if I pimped out my family for a living.

I always thought she was having kids to keep him around, but that article makes it sound like she's having them for ratings. Especially gross considering she supposedly had such a difficult and dangerous pregnancy at some point. They are gross.

In the documents filed March 10, Mohr, 46, is requesting sole physical custody of their five-year-old son, Meredith Daniel Cox Mohr, and joint legal custody, with Cox receiving “reasonable visitation with Meredith, which shall be professionally monitored.” The new filing comes three months after Mohr filed for divorce from Cox for the second time on Dec. 13 and initially requested joint legal and physical custody of their son. Since filing divorce docs in December, Mohr claims that he and Cox “have continued to reside in the same residence” with their son, but alleges that their “living situation has become extremely confusing and untenable; and, our son is suffering.” “Based upon the the increasing hostility in our home, Nikki’s ongoing refusal to attend her mental health issues … her abuse of drugs, and her failure to respect boundaries, I had no choice but to obtain alternate housing for me and our son,” the documents read. Mohr, who has been married to Cox for almost 10 years, claims that “Nikki’s mental health issues continue to go untreated. … she continues to demonstrate that she is incapable of caring for Meredith,” the docs read. He also alleges that she left ovens on while she and their son were at home asleep; backdoors were left open at night for their dogs to go in and out; and administered a double dose of their son’s medication, which caused him to vomit in the middle of the night. The actor initially filed for divorce from Cox in July 2016, but called off the divorce just six days after filing the documents. “I initially filed a Petition for Dissolution of Marriage on July 19, 2016 and sought ex parte custody orders based upon my concerns regarding Meredith’s safety and Nikki’s mental health. My concerns included, but were not limited to, the following facts: Nikki abused drugs, she rarely left her locked bedroom (there were times when Nikki would go 2 full days without seeing Meredith even though we were all in the same house); She was an insomniac who would stay awake for days at a time; she threatened to take her own life on at least two (2) occasions; and she is unable to drive (she never obtained her driver’s license),” the documents read. According to Mohr, the court denied his ex parte requests and he and his wife “attempted to address the concerns set forth” in the July 19, 2016 declaration. “Prior to this dissolution proceeding, Nikki was absent from Meredith’s life. To this day, she has never spent twenty-four hours alone with Meredith and has relegated most of Meredith’s care to me and Meredith’s nanny,” the docs read. “To her credit, since July 2016, Nicki has been less absent from Meredith’s life. Strangely, my mom was visiting (with my then tiny niece) me in DC from Pittsburgh. I took her to the British embassy to sign the condolence book and we waited in line for hours. My mom usually has no interest in celebs so it was weird how attached she was to this story.

I also think the headline is intentionally misleading. In context, it just kind of sounds like - hey, let's acknowledge that the kind of childhood I had wasn't normal. I didn't really realize that until I had a kid of my own. I wouldn't want that for him.

I agre about Tom. He wanted to go big and serious with the topic and I kept waiting to see where it was going, but then, "and we keep them busy sometimes" just didn't quite pack the punch.

So, do we think the cheering for Brad, not normal during the rest of the show, was to show support for Team Brad? As an aside, my two favorite movies this year were Sing Street and La La Land. I think light was what I needed this year. I hope it does get nominated for the oscar. Both movies were also movies I took my 12, now 13, year old and her best friend to see as well. Wide appeal.
