    Who will divorce first?

No, we remember. That's why we have little faith in the union.

    Who'll Split Next (version 5.0)?

I picked Gwen because every time someone goes on a new career path, a la The Voice, they split. Think that usually means they are starting a new life pattern.

    What are you reading?

The Amy Poehler book is on my list, but I compare all of those types of books to Tina Fey's now. I loved that book.

Ditto. I have made it through half of part two and I do like it better than the book, but I don't like the woman playing Elizabeth.

I didn't love the book, but I'll probably check it out.
  6. This is just an awful story if true, and since its on tape, it seems likely. I feel like this could have beena blind item, but I can't find any that fit the bill right now. I remember thinking, this shouldn't be blind, it should be a police report. But since more than one blind has left me feeling that way, who knows. From TMZ. ------ 100314_stephen_collins_launch_v3 Stephen Collins -- who played the pastor/dad on "7th Heaven" -- confessed to his estranged wife he was a child molester, and it's all on tape ... a tape obtained by TMZ. And the New York Police Dept. is now conducting an active criminal investigation involving sexual contact with multiple children. Collins -- who is in the middle of a nasty, prolonged divorce with actress Faye Grant -- revealed to her in 2012 he had molested and/or exposed himself to several underage girls years before. Collins and Grant went to a therapist where she peppered him with questions about the incidents ... and he not only answered, he was specific. Here's what Collins didn't know at the time. Grant taped the therapy session. We're told her lawyer advised her it was legal to secretly record the conversation because in California you're allowed to secretly record conversations to gather evidence the other person committed a violent felony ... and molesting a child under the age of 14 qualifies. We have protected the names of the victims Collins mentions on tape. As you listen ... you will hear Collins refer to a "disclosure" and a "list." This refers to a confession Collins had already made to his wife ... which triggered the therapy session. You hear Collins flatly confess to molesting an 11-year-old New York girl -- a relative of his first wife -- saying, "There was one moment of touching where her hand, I put her hand on my penis." He also acknowledges exposing himself to the girl "a couple of times" ... he says when she was 11, 12 and 13. Grant asks, "When you exposed yourself ... did you have an erection?" He responds, "No, I mean, no. Partial, maybe I think." Grant then inquires about other girls. Collins mentions an L.A. girl who lived in their neighborhood, but says he tried righting the wrong by apologizing to her years later. And then they talk about yet another girl. It's incredible ... Collins has trouble keeping the girls straight, but then he gets clear and confirms the incident. We're told this girl was also from New York and was between 12 and 13 at the time. TMZ has learned ... the NYPD is in possession of the tape, and last Wednesday 2 NYPD detectives from the Special Victims Unit flew to L.A. to interview Grant. We're told they asked her about the tape and about other potential witnesses. An NYPD official tells TMZ ... there is a current, active investigation. The official says there are "at least 3 victims" and the nature of the investigation is "inappropriate sexual contact with minors." Law enforcement sources tell us ... one alleged victim in the investigation is the relative of Collins' first wife, who we're told first reported the molestation in 2012. One law enforcement source tells us ... although decades have passed since the molestation, they believe the case can still be prosecuted because the statute of limitations runs from the date of reporting. Collins -- who is on the National Board of the Screen Actors Guild -- frequently interacts with young actresses. In addition to "7th Heaven," he was also on the ABC Family show "The Fosters," about a bunch of young kids being raised in a foster family. And he had a role in the recent show, "Revolution" ... which also had underage actors. We contacted Collins' reps ... they had no comment. Stephen Collins (7th Heaven) Caught on Tape

I saw a statement from the wife saying she turned this tape over to the police in 2012 and had nothing to do with its release. Don't know about that, but the news that it has been with police for two years is an addition to the story. He's been fired and reruns have been pulled, so the backlash has definitely been swift as the news broke.

The dress is stunning. I still think she looks like a very exotic looking version of long-haired Anne Hathaway.

    British Royals

Not that ibuy that theory, but are there any twins in the royal family or would this be a first. Imagine if the first born were twins. How careful would they need to be about THAT birth? Imagine a twin c-section birth for the first born. Who gets to decide? We could write a chit chat fan fic.

    Outlander

We have so many readers in this forum, I almost put this in the literature folder. Is anyone watching Outlander on Starz? What do you think?

    Outlander

I've been reading these books for almost 17 years and I do love them. But some people are really heavily invested in every single thing being the same. I follow Diana Gabaldons FB feed and the commenters are insane. Hs hair isn't red enough, it's not long enough, the pearls are the wrong kind of pearls, he said thus now, he doesn't say that til next week. Having been through the adaptation of true blood, I'm happy the story is recognizable.

    John Travolta

John Travolta and Kelly Preston Are Expecting! Tuesday May 18, 2010 07:05 PM EDT John Travolta and Kelly Preston Jim Spellman/WireImage John Travolta and Kelly Preston, who have lived through the tragedy of losing a son, can now announce the best news they've had in years. Preston, 47, is pregnant, the family tells PEOPLE. "It’s impossible to keep a secret ... especially one as wonderful as this," they say in a statement. "We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family. Love, John, Kelly and Ella" http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20386272,00.html

    John Travolta

He never denies it. He deflects, but never denies. I think that people far and wide are pretty convinced that this is true at this point, so why even bother. It's not as if it's going to hurt his career now, so why not just be open about it. The man in question was decades ago, and he apparently has newer relationships locked down on confidentiality agreements. ---------- John Travolta has spoken out about claims he was in a gay relationship with a former employee for the first time. The married Hollywood star said that allegations that he was romantically involved with his ex-pilot Douglas Gotterba was 'all about money'. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/09/17/john-travolta-gay-claims-lawsuit_n_5833708.html?ncid=flipboard John Travolta The 60-year-old actor is currently involved in a pending lawsuit with Gotterba after it emerged he was planning to reveal details of his time working for the 'Pulp Fiction' star during the 80s. Gotterba alleges he was in a sexual relationship with the star and made a case that he was not bound by a confidentiality agreement covering the time he worked at his aviation company. When quizzed about it by The Daily Beast, Travolta said: "This is every celebrity's Achilles heel." "It's just about people wanting money. That's all. It happens on many levels. "Also, I don't care that much about it. Other people may attack it back more than I do, but I let all the media stuff go a long time ago because I can't control it. "I think that's why it persists, to some degree." When asked if he found it offensive, he replied: "I found it most offensive with the loss of my son. I felt like that was the lowest Id ever felt. "Sex stuff is always going to be interesting to somebody, but you stay away from family. "You really should. With that, I always felt like the media - not all of the media, but parts of it - went too low there." Earlier this year the actor revealed he thought 'life was no longer interesting' after his 16-year-old son, Jett, died from a seizure during a family holiday in the Bahamas in 2009. "The truth is, I didn't know if I was going to make it," he revealed. "It took a lot to get me better."

    2014 Fall Network tv schedule

I'm trying not to add anything new and weaning myself a bit. I got hulu for the nights that my DVR is overloaded. I'm loving Outlander, and this summer the kids and I discovered The Goldbergs and we are hooked! I am trying not to get sucked into the Broadchurvh remake (is it Gracechurch?) because I already watched the BBC version, but I might not be able to stop myself.

    Brad and Angelina

They've always said they were only getting married because it was important to the kids, that they wanted their parents to be married like everyone else. I could see her picking out that dress because it's what the kids wanted - a big princess dress. It almost sounds like the family just had a wedding play date.

    Brad and Angelina

Ok, I'll admit, I'm going to look. I won't buy, but I'm certainly going to pick the long line at the grocery store just this once. I can't believe we haven't talked about this yet - it's been over a week now and we LOVE gossip! I had to go to page 5 to even find their thread! From People magazine online http://www.people.com/article/angelina-jolie-brad-pitt-wedding-photos When Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie went about planning their big day, they didn't have to look far to find the perfect wedding planners: their six children. The intimate Aug. 23 ceremony attended by just 20 friends and family members was held in the chapel of Château Miraval, the family's estate in the French village of Correns. The wedding including exclusive photos of the ceremony, Jolie's unique dress (decorated with her children's artwork!) and the entire family's celebration is featured in this week's issue of PEOPLE, in conjunction with Hello! magazine internationally. Each child had a key role to play: Eldest sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, walked their mom down the aisle; flower girls Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, tossed petals gathered from the garden; and Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, served as ring bearers. The kids also helped write their parents' vows. And Pax baked the cake! "It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, tell PEOPLE. "It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family." Keep up with Brad Pitt in the pages of PEOPLE Magazine by subscribing now. Even Jolie's dress was an expression of her kids' creativity: Luigi Massi, the master tailor at Atelier Versace, sewed dozens of designs from her children's drawings into the dress and veil. "Luigi is like family to me and I couldn't imagine anyone else making this dress," says Jolie. "He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together." Pitt wore a suit from his closet with a tie borrowed from one of his sons because Pitt forgot to pack his. Zahara's dress was designed by family friend Adama Kebe. Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, and Knox wore black suits (Shiloh's included shorts and a top hat), and Vivienne wore a white dress from her closet. Jeweler Robert Procop, who designed Jolie's engagement ring, created the couple's wedding bands. For Brad and Angelina's complete wedding album, all the details of their big day and more of the couple's interview, pick up this week's issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Wednesday.

The best actors in last 30 years

Hmmm... Some of them I would consider to be more charismatic than talented. Mel Gibson, Kevin Costner, I'm looking at you. Those two bug me and pretty much always have. That's not so say I haven't enjoyed their films, but much like Brad Pitt, they get by on charm. And Adam Sandler, really? Several others (cruise, Cage, Crowe) wouldn't be on my list either, but YMMV. Popular doesn't always equal good, and sometimes even a mediocre performer can really hit one out of the park with the perfect role. I also am not in the cult of Christian Bale. I'm glad Edward Norton is on there. I think he's been electric in just about every movie I've ever seen him in.

    Robin Williams

I think this is a very vivid memory of Robin Williams to many of us of a certain age and, while he's no Abe Lincoln, the imagery resonates today. O Captain! My Captain! our fearful trip is done; The ship has weather'd every rack, the prize we sought is won; The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting, While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring: But O heart! heart! heart! O the bleeding drops of red, Where on the deck my Captain lies, Fallen cold and dead. O Captain! My Captain! rise up and hear the bells; Rise upfor you the flag is flungfor you the bugle trills; For you bouquets and ribbon'd wreathsfor you the shores a-crowding; For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning; Here captain! dear father! This arm beneath your head; It is some dream that on the deck, You've fallen cold and dead. My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still; My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will; The ship is anchor'd safe and sound, its voyage closed and done; From fearful trip, the victor ship, comes in with object won; Exult, O shores, and ring, O bells! But I, with mournful tread, Walk the deck my captain lies, Fallen cold and dead. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vdXhWS7lLvs

    Miley Cyrus

Anyone old like me remember the Madonna Sex book? Not even original, Miley. My favorite comment this morning was from local celeb Pittsburgh Dad (check him out on youtube if you are an expat Yinzer like me). "Miley Cyrus played down Consol last night? They better just go ahead and bleach that whole damn building. That's all we need is Crosby getting pink eye."

    What are you reading?

I've had the Goldfinch on my Kindle since it came out. Just can't get myself to start it. I'm at the tail end of the list I posted above, but just got a newsletter from Goodreads, a "books coming out by authors you have read" thing. I noticed that Tana French has a new book coming out this month. I LOVE her books. I feel like each one gets better than the last, unlike some authors. I just preordered and am clearing mental, shelf space to start that one as soon as it comes out. Also, if you have Starz, the Outlander series premier goes live on On Demand tomorrow, a week earlier. I know a bunch of us have read that.
