AP News H&M Replaces Kate Moss With Italian ModelItalian model Mariacarla Boscono will replace Kate Moss in TV commercials to help launch a collection by Stella McCartney for Swedish clothing chain Hennes & Mauritz. Moss lost the contract after photos of her allegedly snorting cocaine in a London music studio were published last month in a British tabloid. McCartney was personally involved in the selection of Boscono, who has previously worked with the designer, H&M spokeswoman Liv Asarnoj said Tuesday. Posters and newspaper ads for McCartney's collection will not feature any model, Asarnoj said. "We have chosen a graphical solution for those instead." Moss, 31, has issued an apology, saying she is addressing her problems and takes "full responsibility" for her actions. She reportedly checked into a rehabilitation clinic in Arizona. McCartney's limited collection of about 40 items for women will go on sale Nov. 10 in 400 H&M stores. Last year, H&M released a collection by Karl Lagerfeld that sold out in a few hours in many stores worldwide.

Johnny Depp helps Kate Moss reflect

Johnny Depp has reportedly given Kate Moss a strange gift to celebrate her leaving rehab - a mirror.

The heartthrob actor is said to have presented the shamed supermodel with the looking glass - which drug addicts often use to snort cocaine off - as she prepares to leave the US clinic where she was treated following her drug scandal.

The handsome actor - who used to date the catwalk queen - wants Kate to use the mirror to 'face herself without fear', according to a report in Britain's The Sun newspaper.

The star, who is part Cherokee, says the mirror therapy is an old Indian belief.

Last week it was revealed Kate has turned to poetry in a bid to beat her drug problems.

The stunning 31-year-old allegedly writes poems then reads them to lover Pete Doherty over the phone.

One verse reads: 'What matters is what is underneath.'

A friend revealed: 'She's found writing her thoughts down in verse very calming. Her friends and family are pleased she has had something to focus on while she recovers.'

Kate Moss has checked out of the Meadows Clinic in Phoenix, Ariz., where she was receiving treatment for cocaine use, her modeling agency announced Thursday.

The 31-year-old British supermodel left the $4,000-a-night facility earlier this week and was spending time with friends in the U.S., said the statement from her London-based Storm agency.

The firm went on to say that Moss would be reunited with her 3-year-old daughter Lila in the next few days and that Moss would undertake modeling assignments in Los Angeles, Paris and New York within the next month.

"Kate is in excellent spirits and looking forward to getting back to work. She would like to thank everyone for their messages of support as they have played a major part in helping her," a Storm spokesman was quoted as saying, reports the Associated Press.

According to The Times of London, the month-long Meadows program cut Moss off from friends and family members during her recovery treatment program.

Moss lost lucrative contracts with H&M, Burberry and Chanel last month after photos of her allegedly snorting cocaine in a London music studio were published in Britain's Daily Mirror tabloid. One company that stood by Moss though was Italian tire company Pirelli, which featured Moss in their 2006 calendar. "What Kate does in her private life is her own concern," said a company rep.

Moss, who spent a month in rehab in 1998, never admitted to drug use. Nonetheless, shortly after the revealing photos surfaced, she issued a carefully worded apology reading in part: "I take full responsibility for my actions. I also accept that there are various personal issues I need to address and have started taking the difficult but necessary steps to address them."

Poor Kate, it seems Britain's own Scag Poet Laureate, Pete Doherty, has been a naughty boy.

Whilst on the Generalshambles tour in Nottingham, the tour bus got inundated by staff from local bar Brownes.

A part time waitress there, apparently fucking stunning, caught our Pete's eye, and they ended up clubbing at Notts club The Social.

They've since done the sex a few times more and she is said to be besotted by him.

Calling the News desk of NOTW: Why not run that on Sunday?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just before loveable Moss went to Ibiza, she had been warned by her lawyers that photos of her and Pete taking drugs would be worth a million quid. She then proceeded to spend the week telling Pete and various people: "Can you believe it? A million fucking quid!"

The Metropolis pictures were taken the week she got back. NEVER TELL A SCAGHEAD A SECRET!

ps. When she found out The Mirror had pictures, Kate's panic was about whether they showed her taking crack or "just coke".

(IMDB.COM)Moss Checks Out of Rehab Clinic Troubled supermodel Kate Moss is set to be reunited with her three-year-old daughter Lila within the next few days, after checking out of an Arizona rehabilitation clinic. Moss left The Meadows clinic outside Phoenix earlier this week and is spending time with friends in the US, according to a statement released by the Storm agency, which represents the British beauty. A spokesman says, "Kate is in excellent spirits and looking forward to getting back to work. She would like to thank everyone for their messages of support as they have played a major part in helping her." Moss entered the clinic after photographs of her snorting cocaine in a London music studio were published in a UK newspaper last month. The fallout led to Moss losing contracts with H&M, Burberry and Chanel. Despite losing the contracts, representatives at Storm say Moss will be working on modeling assignments in Los Angeles, Paris and New York in the next month.

KATE FLEES TO ISLAND HIDEAWAY

NOEL'S EX HELPS FIGHT DRUG DEMONS; SHE REFUSES TO SEE JUNKIE ROCKER

By Suzanne Kerins

JUST days after checking out of rehab, cocaine shame supermodel Kate Moss has flown to a secret Caribbean hideaway where she is being comforted by her best pal Meg Mathews.

Kate, 31, has chosen Noel Gallagher's ex-wife Meg - a former user herself - as her "buddy" under the direction of the doctors who have been treating her.

And the catwalk beauty has also informed her junkie rocker lover Pete Doherty that she can have nothing to do with him while he is still taking drugs.

Her message to Doherty - in a series of heart-to-heart phone calls - has been: "If you want me back, give up the drugs for good."

Croydon-born Kate headed off to the Caribbean resort shortly after her release from the 30-day intensive treatment at the Meadows clinic in Arizona last week.

She had checked into the Meadows after the furore over pictures in our sister paper, the Daily Mirror, showing her snorting cocaine during a recording session with Doherty's band.

Kate is currently on a photoshoot on a stunning Caribbean island, where she has been joined by three-year-old daughter Lila Grace.

Kate is staying in a £1,500-a-night luxury villa with a pool and private butler on one of the most luxurious islands in the Caribbean, chosen specifically for its privacy and discretion. The Sunday Mirror is keeping its location secret.

And this weekend Meg and her daughter Anais, five were due to be joining Kate and Lila Grace.

Meg, one of Kate's oldest and trusted pals, has fought her own drug demons against cocaine and alcohol, but has now been clean for some time.

She wrote regular supportive letters to Kate while she was going through rehab in Arizona.

Meg was the typical rock'n'roll wife who famously missed her daughter's first birthday - because she was too busy partying in Phuket.

Her bill for the luxury holiday in Thailand, during which she partied with Kate Moss and Sean Pertwee, stood at £20,000.

While married to Noel, Meg also regularly threw all-night drug-fuelled parties at their £3.5million pad, Supernova Heights.

But today she's an altogether calmer, non-smoking single mum and is rarely snapped out partying into the early hours.

Kate has turned to Meg in her hour of needs as she re-adjusts to life in the outside world.

A pal said: "If anyone can help Kate get through this, it's Meg. She has always been a part of 'Moss's posse'. Meg wrote her some really supportive letters while she was in the clinic which Kate found comforting and helpful."'

"Meg made an entire career out of partying - a lot of the time with Kate. Drugs destroyed her marriage to Noel and nearly ruined her too. She hit rock bottom, but got herself out. She's a wonderful mother and a good friend to Kate. Their little girls get on really well together and Kate is convinced that spending time with Meg is just what she needs."

Kate went through her £20,000 drug rehabilitation programme at the Meadows clinic on the advice of fellow supermodel Elle McPherson, who was treated there for depression in 2003.

As part of the "12-Step Programme", patients are instructed to make sure they stay clear of drug addicts when they leave the Level I Psychiatric Acute Hospital. And Meg is ensuring she will be there for Kate during the first difficult days back on the "outside".

Kate's other major decision - as she vows to stay clean, to be a good mother to Lila Grace and to rescue her career - has been to tell Doherty that she cannot see him.

Doherty, a self-confessed heroin and crack addict, has repeatedly failed to cure his evils. And Kate has told him that, until he has, he cannot be part of her life.

A source said: "Kate adores Pete, but she is serious about kicking cocaine. That means adhering to the instructions of doctors. Being in the presence of drug addicts is the worst possible thing for her at this time." Kate's family and her ex-partner Jefferson Hack - father of Lila Grace - are also thought to be keen to keep her away from Doherty.

The source added: "The best way for Kate to avoid temptation is not to see Pete anymore."

That's why reformed Meg is now considered the ideal person to give Kate advice.

Babyshambles frontman Doherty will not simply disappear, however, and has declared his undying love for the supermodel in a string of phone calls since Kate left the clinic.

Doherty told the Sunday Mirror last night: "A lot of people are against us. I'm not saying who. It does my head in, being in love. But I'm still in love. Once you're in love, you're in love - whether you like it or not. And unfortunately, I am." Kate was said to be "devastated" after she was secretly filmed snorting cocaine in a studio in North London. That was followed by allegations that she had a £200-a-day coke habit, and had drug-fuelled lesbian threesomes with actresses Sadie Frost and Davinia Taylor. She was also reported to have taken cocaine while in Barcelonas for a charity dinner for Nelson Mandela's Children's Fund and to have allegedly worked her way through a "fist-sized" mound of cocaine with fellow model, Naomi Campbell.

Kate lost millions of pounds worth of contracts when top fashion houses Chanel, Burberry and H&M decided to ditch her. She later issued an apology, saying she took "full responsibility" for her actions, but was distraught over claims she could face a social services investigation by Westminster Council into whether she is fit to be a parent. At the same time, she could be interviewed by police on her return to London. A file would then be passed to the Crown Prosecution Service to decide whether charges should be brought.

But Kate has no plans to return to Britain until December. She has several modelling assignments lined up in Los Angeles, New York and Paris over the next six weeks.

Last week, it was even reported that she intends to quit Britain for good to live full-time in the United States, though the supermodel, who is worth £30million, was also said to be keen to keep on her homes in North London and Gloucestershire.

Kate clearly has a lot to think about during her time on the island...

To rehab and rehab notLet's hope Kate Moss gets more from this last rehab than she did from her detox in 1998. "What did I learn about in rehab?" she asked a friend shortly after getting out, while ordering two glasses of Champagne (for herself) at 11 a.m. "A lot about alcohol."She just "needed a break," artist and friend Tracy Emin tells Vanity Fair this month. The mag reports that Moss was running on empty as early as fall 2004. "I just can't handle it," she admitted then to pals during a fashion shoot. "I don't know whether I can manage to keep it all going."Next time, try a latte, love.

Kate Moss 'moves out of London home'

07/11/2005 - 17:25:55

Removal vans were spotted outside Kate Moss's home today adding to

speculation that the supermodel is seeking a quiet life in the countryside.

Moss, 31, checked out of an Arizona rehabilitation clinic two weeks ago

following controversy over photographs of her allegedly taking cocaine.

According to reports, the Croydon-born model is set to move to her £2m (?3m)

Cotswold hideaway with Lila Grace, her daughter by magazine publisher

Jefferson Hack.

Today, furniture, as well as children's toys, a mattress and mirror were all

loaded into the van outside her St John's Wood, north west London home.

Moss has spent most of the time in the US since leaving the Meadows Clinic,

but recently took her three-year-old daughter with her on a working break to

Ibiza.

Friends said she is unlikely to return to Britain before Christmas and has

work lined up in Los Angeles, New York and Paris.

Moss, who has urged her on-off boyfriend Pete Doherty to follow in her

footsteps andseek addiction treatment, saw her career fall apart after

pictures of her allegedly snorting cocaine were published in a newspaper.

H&M and Burberry axed her and Chanel said it would not be extending her

contract.

But cosmetics giant Rimmel and luxury fashion house Dior stuck by her after

she released a statement pledging to sort out her problems.

Moss, who missed Lila's third birthday because she was in the clinic, said

she had "various personal issues" that she needed to address.

She is expected to be interrogated by both police and social services when

she returns to the UK in December.

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair has ordered an investigation

into claims the supermodel took cocaine.

Pete Doherty is currently in an on-off relationship with Kate Moss Pete: I've a second love child By Robert Mendick, Evening Standard 4 November 2005 Singer Pete Doherty, currently in an on-off relationship with supermodel Kate Moss, has revealed he has a second love child. The star is known to have a son with singer Lisa Moorish but the existence of a second child has been secret until now. Speaking ahead of the launch of his band Babyshambles's new album, Doherty responded to a question over whether he and Moss, 31, might have children together by saying: "I've got two [kids]." When pressed about the second child, he said: "I don't really want to go into that because it's not fair on the kids or the mother. It's enough for me to say I love them and would do anything for them." He refused to give details but said he was in contact with one of them and his sister sees the child all the time "so there's affection as a family for him". In the interview he also revealed that Moss has urged him to seek treatment for his drug addiction at the Arizona clinic she has just left. Moss underwent a 30-day, £20,000 therapy programme at the Meadows clinic. "She wants me to go to this place in Arizona straight after her and do it," said Doherty, adding: "I just miss her. She says she doesn't want to be with me. "She says she doesn't know why I love her, I don't know why she loves me, but that's just the way it is. "Maybe she just wants me to go through it [rehab] because she's been through it." Moss checked into the clinic after being captured on film snorting cocaine at a recording session for the new album, Down In Albion. She left the clinic last week to resume her modelling career which was damaged by the revelations. At the time of the interview in today's Guardian, Doherty was living in a Whitechapel hotel. The newspaper described entering his hotel room to find the name of Doherty's record label Rough Trade scrawled on the wall in fresh, dripping blood. Asked if it was Doherty's blood, the singer replied: "Yeah. It's brand new. It's not done in a gory way." Writer Simon Haddonstone described finding drug paraphernalia on his bed as well as "rows of blackened, broken miniature bottles of alcohol from which he has been smoking".

Kate Moss Gets Post-Rehab Modeling Job By Associated Press LONDON -- Kate Moss is back at work after checking out of an Arizona rehabilitation clinic last month. The 31-year-old British supermodel entered The Meadows clinic outside Phoenix after photos allegedly showing her snorting cocaine were published in a British tabloid in September. Moss left the clinic in late October. She spent two days on the Spanish island of Ibiza last week for a photo shoot for Roberto Cavalli, said a statement issued Tuesday through her London spokesman. "Kate looks absolutely fantastic. She is confident and stylish and she works well with the Cavalli look. She is back working and doing what she does best and, like usual, she was really professional," Cavalli said. Moss modeled the Italian designer's spring and summer collection for photos that will appear next year in Vogue, W and other magazines, the statement said. Her spokesman, Stuart Higgins, said Moss wouldn't make any public comments about her experience at the clinic or her work. The Storm agency has said Moss will be working on modeling assignments in Los Angeles, Paris and New York. She has lost contracts with H&M, Burberry and Chanel. Moss, who began modeling at 14, issued a statement after the photos were published saying she was addressing her problems and took "full responsibility" for her actions.

(Pagesix.com)ON THE MOVE SHE'S out of rehab and, apparently, out of London, too. Movers were seen carting away crates of personal effects from Kate Moss' house in the St. John's Wood section on Monday, SkyNews reports. Included in the lot of loot were wardrobe boxes, antique furniture and a mini Porsche Boxster, obviously a plaything for daughter Lila. The substance-abusing supermodel (above) also has a cottage in the Cotswolds, but she could also take up residence in the tony Sierra Towers building in L.A., a purchase PAGE SIX first reported, to avoid seeing her ex-beau, rocker Pete Doherty

The close up pic of Kate above is allegedly from Glastonbury last year or some earlier music festival. It is not on her recent return from rehab. The tanned picture of Kate is more than likely highly airbrushed, as every glossy picture that appears in these mags are, to a greater or lesser degree. I suspect a greater degree with this one, simply because it's not her natural colour. Recent pics of her return from rehab (check out Perez Hilton's site) show her to be naturally pale as ever she was.
