Lindsay Lohan still broke and a mess

Lindsay Lohan, today is not your day!

Reports are swirling today that Lilo failed her drug test after they found cocaine in her system!

But the news doesn't seem to be affecting Lindsanity as she was just spotted arriving at a recording studio in Los Angeles. You know, because recording right now is what's important, right?

Judging by the look on her face, we're guessing she's a bit worried. And she should be.

Lindsay could face some jail time if the drug reports are true!

Lindsay Lohan Had Multiple Dirty Drug Tests

9/17/2010 5:05 PM PDT by TMZ Staff

Lindsay Lohan failed more than one drug test ... sources tell TMZ.

TMZ broke the story that Lindsay tested positive for cocaine last week. Sources connected with the case tell us Lindsay failed another test as well -- we're told it was not for cocaine, but they would not be more specific.

And our sources say ... the tests were both conducted within a short span of each other.

Lindsay could face 30 days behind bars for each failed drug test.

My ex was a state probation officer. He was very frustrated when his probationers would flunk multiple drug tests and the judge would ask him (my ex) why he wasn't doing more to help the criminals. He had a caseload of over 100 he was to keep track of every month and was expected to keep them all from doing drugs. Very frustrating.

Linds is no better than the common druggie and deserves every one of those slaps on the wrist. (Can't figure out how to post the sarcasm emoticon)

Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps

Regrettably, I did in fact fail mymost recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result.

So now she's a poor victim of substance abuse. That makes me so angry, there are addicts that work hard to break their addiction and this little entitled princess is exploiting them and a very true disease. If she were really working hard to overcome it, she would've stayed in rehab. Whoever she has doing media consulting for her these days deserves every penny she's paying them though.

How Lindsay Lohan Spent Her Bad News Friday

By Stephen M. Silverman

Saturday September 18, 2010 03:30 PM EDT

The fateful Friday, Sept. 17, that brought the news that Lindsay Lohan had failed a random drug test and her own admission of, "This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences," was busy all around for the troubled actress.

Lohan spent Friday at an afternoon photo shoot and was later spotted at an observance of the Jewish holy day of atonement, Yom Kippur, with Israeli military vet Eilat Anchel at a house party in Beverly Hills.

Lohan, 24, then went to the Beverly Hills Hotel before heading to Hollywood. After her nighttime Twitter admission that she failed her drug test, she was photographed with her wrist tattoo on display. It reads, "I restore myself when I'm alone."

In her Friday night Tweet, Lohan said, "if I am asked," she is ready to go back before Superior Court Judge Elden Fox to face the consequences of her failed drug test. So far, the judge has not yet set a hearing in the matter, but, said Lohan, "I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future."

However, a friend close to Lohan, who has seen her since her Aug. 24 release from rehab (after serving nearly two weeks in jail in a DUI case), tells PEOPLE: "She did not work the steps inside the program, and did come not out changed whatsoever. She's exactly the same girl as before jail time and rehab."

The friend added: "She did whatever she could to leave rehab early. It was her mission. I'm not sure how, but they let her out much sooner than anyone advised."

Lohan's rep declined comment.

I'm betting those Tweets are courtesy of the media consultants. That's just way too coherent to be Lindsay's own words.

My thoughts exactly. I don't see how anybody could think that Lindsay actually wrote that! Though kudos to her PR team that managed to convince Lindsay to let them tweet that for her!

I hope this isn't true! She needs to take care of her drug problem first. If they put her on the show this season (or any time when she's not completely clean and rehabilitated), then I see it as enabling. I could see that perhaps someone there thinks if they give her a big chance to show her talent, and treat her like an artist (and not a druggie) that maybe it would be the catalyst to turn her around. Commendable if that's what they're thinking, but they should wait until she truly does the rehab. JMO.

Lindsay Lohan may return to SNL.

Lindsay Lohan -- AA, Day 2

9/19/2010 7:40 AM PDT

by TMZ Staff

Lindsay Lohan was smiling, upbeat and a tad sexy when she was spotted leaving an AA meeting in Hollywood last night.

It's two days in a row that Lindsay has attended a meeting.

Let's hope this becomes her new habit.

Hummm..... seems she (or her mother, whoever called it into the paps) doesn't understand what the second A stands for.

How long until someone busts the facility for recommending she be released early? Or will that just be pushed under the rug....

Producer stands by Lohan, says talent matters most

Tyler Shields

Lindsay Lohan is slated to play porn star Linda Lovelace in the film "Inferno."

The producer of Lindsay Lohan's upcoming film project "Inferno" is speaking out against reports that he is "beyond irritated" with Lohan after she failed a recent court-mandated drug test.

"The only producers in question would be Jordan Gertner or myself, and we are not expressing irritation, nor 'beyond irritated' to anyone -- that is not to say we would not be upset over a breach of the court by Lindsay that has affected her personally, or the potential production schedule or location of the production significantly," producer Chris Hanley told People magazine.

Hanley went on to say that Lohan's talent is a significant consideration in how "Inferno" moves forward, despite the setback. "We do believe that Lindsay’s talent does weigh very heavily in the matter. Addictive personality disorder issues are pervasive in the film industry. I have worked with Robert Downey and others on movies I have made, and, frankly, talent and passion for a project matter the most to me."

"Inferno," in which Lohan will play porn star Linda Lovelace, is due to begin filming in New Orleans Nov. 15.

Lindsay Lohan Second Failed Test -- Amphetamines

17 minutes ago by TMZ Staff

Lindsay Lohan's second failed drug test involved amphetamines ... TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ... Lindsay failed two drug tests -- One for cocaine, and now we know the second was for amphetamines.

Our sources would not divulge the nature of the amphetamines, but Adderall -- the drug Lindsay was prescribed and hooked on -- is an amphetamine.

We do not know which test came first -- the cocaine or the amphetamine. But we're told both tests were taken close together. Lindsay failed her cocaine test the week before last.

Bottom line -- a bad medical diagnosis may have set the ball rolling that unhinged Lindsay's life.

Adderall is a amphetamine, people with a history of drug abuse tend to get a "high" off it, which is why they take it to begin with.... So saying that Adderall is what CAUSED the problems is kinda lame...

Bada bing.

EXCLUSIVE: Lindsay Lohan 'In Desperate Financial Shape

Radar Online

Bookmark and Share

Posted on Sep 20, 2010 @ 10:38AM

Lindsay Lohan's drug relapse has gone hand in hand with another major headache for the troubled actress -- her desperate financial shape.

RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned -- from sources close to the Mean Girls starlet -- that she is broke and is suffering from a major cash flow problem.

"Lindsay is in serious trouble financially," one well-placed source told RadarOnline.com.

"Dina is struggling to make ends meet and pay Lindsay's lawyers and this latest development doesn't help things.

"Everyone thinks the Lohan family is so well-off, but if they knew the truth, it would be shocking."

Lohan, who is awaiting her legal fate after failing a court mandated drug test, has been left to live off the occasional magazine cover -- most recently Vanity Fair -- while the handful of movies she has done have either bombed at the box office, or gone straight to DVD.

One source even suggested to RadarOnline.com that mom Dina is so desperate for money she hired Lindsay's current business manager, Lou Taylor, because she agreed to take the job for free.

And now that she's fallen off the wagon once again, Lindsay is facing 30 days behind bars which could cost her the role she was hoping would reinstate her as a legitimate Hollywood actress.

Executives behind her upcoming film Inferno are reportedly "beyond irritated", and are reconsidering insuring her for the role of '70s porn star Linda Lovelace.

"She's in a tight spot, the family's in a tight spot," the source told RadarOnline.com.

"It's really a very sad situation."

Lohan Probation Revoked, Arrest Warrant Issued

11 minutes ago by TMZ Staff

Lindsay Lohan's probation has been revoked and a bench warrant issued for her arrest ... TMZ has learned.

Although the bench warrant was issued, it's being held -- i.e., on hold -- until Friday at 8:30 AM, when Lindsay is ordered to appear in court.

The move by Judge Elden Fox comes after TMZ's story ... that Lindsay failed two drug tests recently ... one showed the presence of cocaine and another showed amphetamines.

The probation report -- outlining the failed tests -- was just filed with the court.

Story developing.

And now I think we know how she got let out of treatment early. No money to pay.

Hmm. Maybe. Outpatient is the preferred treatment for those who have insurance that won't cover inpatient. You are right, that may be the real reason, and not that she was in the wrong place in the first place. This should be interesting. Does anyone know: will she be required to fulfill the entire 30-60-90 days, or is it possible for her to be released early again, even though she has violated the terms of the first early release?

Apparently the free fall is continuing, as it must until she hits the very bottom because regardless of those tweets, she is still in denial that she has a problem. How else to explain that even with a dire financial situation, the girl still finds a way to get her drugs, even though she knows she could go back to jail? What a friggin' trainwreck this girl is--so sad to see her talent just wasting away. I really hope they keep her jailed for the whole sentence this time.

^^ Well, it doesn't say just how much she got...just that the attorneys are happy and that Lindsay got cash. If I were an attorney, I'd personally be happy if I saw even a dime from filing such a frivolous lawsuit. My guess is that the settlement was modest at best and more of a nuisance fee than an acknowledgment of wrongdoing on E*trade's part.

ETA: I'd also guess that the Lohans would be happy with even a dime at this point if the stories about their financial condition are true.

I work in big corporate America. I knew this would get settled, and so did the Lohans when they filed it. There comes a point where it costs less to give the pigs money than it does to give the REAL pigs (the attorneys) theirs. I hand it to Etrade for holding out until it became very apparent that Lindsay would cave in out of desperation for an amount far less than she hoped for.

They make it sound like no money changed hands.....

Eonline.com

Atta girl.

Lindsay Lohan has dropped her $100 million lawsuit against E-Trade, in which she claimed that, in one of the site's commercials featuring its grownup-sounding spokesbaby, the company ripped off her name and image by referencing a "milkaholic" tot named Lindsay.

"E*TRADE has always maintained that the claims were without merit, which is why we moved to dismiss the case," the company said in a statement. "We always have to consider the cost and time involved in litigation. With the case now withdrawn, we are pleased to have the matter behind us."

According to the stipulation filed today, Lohan's complaint has been withdrawn with prejudice, meaning she can't refile, and "without costs or fees to any Party."

Meanwhile, a milk habit is probably looking pretty good to Lohan right about now.
