Hilary Swank: ‘I Want Children’

Hilary Swank says she “definitely” wants children.

The actress — who is currently dating her former agent, John Campisi — says she hopes to start a family with her beau one day and enjoys spending time with John’s son Sam, from a previous relationship.

“Sam’s a sweetheart,” said Swank.

“I most definitely want children. It’s something I’d like to do someday. And when the timing is right I’ll hopefully know it.”

Swank recently revealed that she sleeps in the nude.

“I don’t sleep in anything,” she said. “Well, my boyfriend’s son is 6 years old, and you wonder at what age you should stop walking around nude.

“Every morning he comes into the bedroom, and you’re just nude. But he doesn’t look twice; he doesn’t think about it yet.

“I just toss and turn too much when I sleep, and if I’m in clothes, I get all twisted up.”

Hilary Swank Wants to Fly!

Hilary Swank could be a pilot when her acting career starts heading south — she’s taking flying lessons!

The Boys Don’t Cry star, 35, says she’s learning how to fly for her role as famed aviator Amelia Earhart in upcoming film Amelia.

“I am studying for my pilot’s license,” she said. “I don’t sweat a lot, but when I fly, my whole back is drenched. The concentration, the focus. It is so wonderful.

“I just picked up my boyfriend in Las Vegas! He had a business meeting there, and I flew with my instructor and picked him up.”

Swank isn’t the only Hollywood star qualified to take to the skies — John Travolta, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise are all keen pilots.

Meanwhile, Swank — who is currently dating her former agent, John Campisi — has revealed she’d quite like to start a family with her beau one day and enjoys spending time with John’s son Sam, from a previous relationship.

“Sam’s a sweetheart,” said Swank.

“I most definitely want children. It’s something I’d like to do someday. And when the timing is right I’ll hopefully know it.”

Hilary Swank's chaotic premiere

The buzz is that the New York premiere of Hilary Swank's latest movie 'Amelia' was thrown into chaos when a journalist passed out on the red carpet.

Emergency services raced to the Paris Theater in the Big Apple on Tuesday night, 20th of October when a female reporter keeled over, just as Richard Gere was arriving at the event.

As paramedics attended to the unidentified woman, a fan managed to evade security

and approach Gere, who plays Swank's husband in the film about iconic aviator Amelia Earhart.

The New York Daily News says that Gere was left stunned when the autograph hunter demanded he sign a poster, declaring, "Whoa, what’s with the shoving?"

Hilary Swank's musical dream

The 35-year-old star - who won an Oscar for her role as a true-life transgender teen in 'Boys Don't Cry' and another in Clint Eastwood's 'Million Dollar Baby'Â - would "never say never" to a new challenge.

She told Britain's Independent newspaper: "I think I've done every genre now! I'd like to continue to try them all. I don't know if a musical would be up my alley, but you never know. Never say never.

"A lot of people say, 'You haven't really done a superhero type movie... why don't you do that kind of movie? It's not that I don't want to, I just haven't had that opportunity."

Hilary stars in upcoming film 'Amelia' - which is about Amelia Earhart, the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic - alongside Richard Gere.

Hilary Swank: ‘Paparazzi Attention is Part of my Job’

HILARY Swank hates being followed by the paparazzi — but she puts up with it because it’s part of her job as Hollywood star.

The actress says the attention from celebrity snappers makes her life feel like a “circus” but she has little sympathy for her celebrity peers who complain.

“Sometimes you do feel a little bit like you’re in a circus,” she said. “I guess it’s when things become more personal. And you’re like, ‘I’m just an actor, trying to talk about my love for movies.’

“And you just have to remember how you’re doing it. And be in touch with that, really. It is all part of it.”

Swank, 35, recently revealed that she believes in miracles.

“I would say I believe in miracles,” she told UK newspaper The Independent, “especially after seeing where I’ve come from and where I am today.

“A lot of young women — and some men — come up to me and say, ‘You’re a reminder to me to not give up my dream. That you don’t have to be born into it.’”

Swank 'Was Told To Give Up Acting'

Hilary Swank has claimed that she has learnt how to deal with people's opinions about her.

The Amelia star told Moviehole that it is important to listen to constructive criticism.

"I had one teacher who told me, 'When are you going to give up your hobby [acting]?'" she said. "Look, everyone's going to have an opinion and when you're pursuing your dream and you have people... I had someone tell me I was too half-hour when I was trying to get into drama.

"There are types of opinions. But some of them - neither of those - can be constructive. I think you have to learn how to decipher what's constructive and what you can take in to incorporate into being a better actor or help you be successful."

However, Swank admitted that it can be difficult to deal with negative comments.

"As actors, we wear our hearts on our sleeves," she explained. "It's easy to have that bad stuff that's thrown at you... be upsetting."

Hilary Swank 'Forever Friends With Lowe'

Hilary Swank has claimed that she has no bitter feelings over her divorce from Chad Lowe.

The Oscar-winning actress met Lowe in 1992 on the set of Quiet Days. The couple later wed in a lavish ceremony in 1997.

They announced their split in 2006 and Lowe welcomed his first daughter with girlfriend Kim Painter in May. Swank is now dating her agent John Campisi.

Contactmusic quotes the Million Dollar Baby star as saying: "It's really such a part of the past, it's over now, so there's no sense in diving back into that. He'll always be one of my best friends.

"You know, you can't spend 14 years with someone and not carry them in your heart forever."

Lonely Child Hilary Swank

Hilary Swank's friends were banned from playing with her at school. The Oscar-winning actress - who grew up in a trailer park in Bellingham, Washington - was shunned by her classmates because their parents didn't want them socialising with someone from a poor background.

She said: "I grew up feeling like an outsider because we had no money, so I understood 'classism' at a young age. A lot of parents didn't want their kids playing with me, even though the kids didn't care."

The 35-year-old star was forced to spend her spare time reading and watching movies, where the characters became the closest thing she had to friends.

She explained: "Because I experienced that, my friends became characters in books or movies. That's what I could relate to. The first three movies I remember watching - 'The Elephant Man', 'The Miracle Worker' and 'The Wizard of Oz' - were all about outsiders facing adversity."

However, Hilary feels as though her film career - which has seen her win two Best Actress Academy Wards - has helped her finally fit in.

She explained to Britain's Cosmopolitan magazine: "The fact that people I admire so much have embraced me with the awards means that I don't feel like such an outsider any more. I've grown up and experienced a lot in life, and have travelled and seen the world. What I recognised was that I wasn't alone and everyone has that feeling. But my job brings me so much joy, I'm always on the film set thinking 'How did I get so lucky?' I don't ever want to take it for granted."
