And a lot of the "west coast" gossip. When Defamer shut down, Gawker itself published some of the stories, but I don't think they have any freelancers/employees in LA, and Gawker is very definitely a New York site with a NYC focus..... Gawker is supposed to be a "media" blog, but they cover most anything. There are specialty blogs within the same company - Jezebel for "Women", Jalopnik for cars, there's one for tech stuff....I don't read most of them, just gawker and occasionally I'll look at an article that's cross-posted from another of their sites.....
