She swore she would always keep her maiden name after she divorced Tom, no matter how many times she remarried.She broke up with her bodyguard husband, right? I'm still pushing for Courtney Love, but no one ever listens to me. "I would love the chance to do that," Barr told KVVU-TV in Las Vegas on Monday. "I'd love it. Yeah, definitely. I think I would do a real good job." Barr, who is known for being outspoken, says she'd "stir up some real good controversy," which O'Donnell has often done during her year-long stint on The View Barr's name has been mentioned online and in the New York Post as a possible replacement for O'Donnell, who announced last week that she is leaving at the end of this season. However, Barr stresses that she has not been approached by the show's producers. Still, to those who have suggested her for the job, Barr appreciates the thought. "I just want to say thank you to them for thinking of me." Joy Behar is already re-gnashing her teeth. I say toss her ass, get Courtney and Roseanne in there and make a big bowl of popcorn and watch the show as they terrify Elisabeth Hasselbeck. She's taken to her blog to swipe at Barbara Walters. She doesn't mention "The View" situation, but she does mention that Barbara is all head. OMG, so am I! Am I an ancient newswoman with a lisp? Damn these Irish genes! I'm like an orange on a toothpick! Well, not exactly a toothpick but still - big melon. What? I like Roseanne, but she's out her damn mind. Barbara Walters is well over one hundred years old now. She is all head, like joan rivers. I am only at the pee in your pants stage of old ladyism, but look forward to having a huge head in the future. I have seven pigs on my farm and want to eat them! They hide in the grass and hump each other when they think I am not looking...I am getting a shotgun tomorrow, not for the piggies, but just to have, though I wonder if my past mental illnesses will make getting a gun tougher? I will shoot anyone who comes on my land, since I just put up gates that say "no trespassing... trespassers shot on sight"... I cannot wait to shoot someone if need be...right between the eyes. I am a damn good shot too! I once blew a quarter in two at one hundred feet! I need glasses these days to make sure the head wound will be fatal. I hate to see anyone suffer!Her neighbors better duck. This is an angry, drunk bitch with a gun! And no, it won't make it any tougher getting a gun. Obama votes with Bush constantly funding this terrible endless war. Oprah, you play the race card and the gender card too. When Americans find out that Obama backs right wing corporate racist anti worker bullshit, they will not vote for him, and the victory will go to the most racist right wing republican ever.... Mccain, who is a fascist! Barr lamented how Clinton has not been a guest on Winfrey's show since her endorsement of Obama in May, 2007. Clinton recently stopped by the "Tyra Banks Show," which left Barr "fumed." "Maybe if Hilary (sic) was discussing her fat thighs Oprah would have had her on." The "True Lies" star was arrested for attacking photographers who he claims assaulted his then-partner at the Los Angeles International Airport almost 20 years ago. He felt sure his wife's testimony would help him in court, but she allegedly let him down - and he was sentenced to community service. He recalls on Jimmy Kimmel Live, "My wife had been assaulted and she was my witness, so how can it go wrong? "It came time for the trial and they put her on the stand and they said, 'Roseanne, tell us what happened,' and she's like, 'I didn't really see anything.' "Two days later I was in an orange jumpsuit on the 405 (freeway)."
