Tiger Woods paid $60K for kinky sex, three-ways, claims Hollywood madam Michelle Braun

By George Rush and Leo Standora

DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITERS

Tiger Woods was into threesomes and shelled out more than $60,000 to cat around with high-priced hookers, a Hollywood madam claimed Thursday.

"One of his favorites was Loredana Jolie," Michelle Braun told the Daily News, describing the gorgeous blond as a Playboy model from Sicily who's been living in New York since age 14.

"She's a stunning girl," said Braun. "He went out with her four or five times. She took part in group sex. They met up in 2006 or early 2007. I'd say he paid $15,000 for her."

Woods "had a pretty big appetite for women" added Braun, as the world famous athlete's list of extramarital "transgressions" continues to grow.

"He was rarely with just one girl. He usually wanted more. He liked three-ways," she said.

Braun, whose escort service was closed due to legal troubles, said two of Woods' other playmates were porn star Holly Sampson and onetime trashy lingerie model Jamie Jungers.

Braun contended Woods would drop $30,000 to $40,000 a weekend for his liaisons and that he met up with the women in cities where he was playing tournaments.

"He would request the college-cutie, girls-next-door look," she said.

Braun also said the girls marveled at the golf champ's endurance.

"He could go for days," she said. "He'd pay a flat rate for an evening, but an evening would usually be extended. The girls would talk about his stamina."

The girls all thought Woods was a "real gentleman" and a good lover, Braun added.

"He'd shower them with gifts, he was very polite and he was amazing in bed ... very sensual and well-endowed."

Woods and most of her celebrity clients always were "smart enough" to pay in cash, Braun said, adding the golf star, in particular, "liked to communicate by text message."

"Most of the girls understood it was a business relationship," Braun said. "I've never known a girl to fall in love with a client. I've seen them develop relationships with men who were available. But Tiger made it clear this was a good time and his wife would always be in the picture."

Jungers, 26, who has said she was in love with Woods, also is going public about their hot-sheets affair, boasting that their secret sex life was GRREAT!

Jungers, who is scheduled to appear this morning on NBC's "Today" show on "Dateline" tonight, refutes the claim that Woods paid her for sex, swearing, "I have nothing to do with prostitution."

"I mean, we had - I felt like we had a lot - or I had a lot of feelings toward him," Jungers admits. "It wasn't just a sexual situation . . . I loved him."

While she says she feels sorry for his wife, Elin Nordengren, and their children, she has no misgivings about bedding Woods.

"I'm certainly not gonna say that it was wrong," Jungers mused. "I don't believe I owe her an apology."

She insists she hopes Woods and his wife work things out. If not, she says, "There'll always be a place in my heart for Tiger."

As Jungers' confession was set to roll, Woods' lawyers went to court Thursday to block British papers from publishing photographs of his "naked parts" or sexcapades.

His London lawyers said the order issued by the High Court was in no way an admission that X-rated snaps even exist.

"Our client is not aware of any images," the lawyers said in a letter obtained by the gossip Web site TMZ. "And in any event he would not have consented to any such photographs being taken."

It's unclear if Tiger's camp is trying to obtain a similar order against Playgirl, which said this week it has pictures that purportedly show the golfer in the buff.

In other developments:

A new mistress - one not previously identified - has hired celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred, Radaronline reported. Allred already represents Rachel Uchitel, 34, the New York party girl who was first linked to Woods and has denied sleeping with him.

Golf great Jack Nicklaus predicted the scandal would die down soon. "Our public is pretty forgiving at times," he said, calling Woods a "great athlete."

Though "devastated" by the breadth of Tiger's cheating, Nordegren isn't packing her bags and fleeing with their two kids, People magazine reported.

TIGER WOODS CHEATED AS DAD DIED

Star bedded Janine Jungers as father lay dying in hospital

'I LOVED BEING AROUND HIM' - Jamie, 26,

By Carole Aye Maung & Daniel Sanderson, 12/12/2009

TREACHEROUS Tiger Woods romped with a mistress in his marital bed on the night his beloved father died.

Just a few hours earlier the sex-mad sportsman had been told by his mum that cancer-stricken Earl was "in a bad way".

But after visiting his dad in a hospice, Tiger went home and cheated on wife Elin with former model Jamie Jungers.

As they lay in bed afterwards, Tiger got a call telling him Earl had passed away.

Jamie, 26, told the News of the World last night: "I was beside him wearing nothing but a pair of panties."

Deceased Earl, 74, was described by his son as: "My best friend and greatest role model - an amazing dad, coach, mentor, soldier, husband and friend."

But his grief over losing his war veteran father did not stop Tiger continuing his torrid affair.

Tiger Woods' lover Jamie Jungers, 26, tells all

It only ended six months later - when Jamie asked her lover for financial aid.

She said: "He's a cheap f***er and he just didn't want to help me."

And she added: "I suspect he was seeing other women at the same time as me. Tiger's very highly sexed. He loves sex."

Their affair began in the summer of 2005 - a few months after Tiger's wedding.

On May 2, 2006, he was with Jamie in his marital home in California when his mum Tida called about Earl - who had prostate cancer and was in a hospice.

Jamie said: "She told Tiger his dad was in a bad way. Tiger immediately left to be with him and I stayed at the house. He was gone nearly three hours.

"When he came back, I could see he was preoccupied and worried about his dad - but when we went to bed he still wanted to have sex as usual.

"We went to sleep. I was beside him wearing nothing but a pair of panties. Then at about 3am the phone rang. It was Tiger's mum.

"She called to tell him that his dad had passed away. Tiger looked utterly devastated and didn't say a word. He didn't even cry but I could tell he was heartbroken.

"I told him, 'I'm so sorry' and gave him a hug. I didn't want to be in the way so I arranged a flight home to Vegas."

The next day, Tiger phoned. Jamie said: "I didn't expect to hear from him for a while. I thought he would be busy having just lost his dad.

"But he told me how much he appreciated me being there with him and thanked me for my support."

The lovers first met at Las Vegas's Bellagio hotel, when Tiger was on a night out.

Jamie was working voluntarily for The Vegas Angels - a troupe of models who help with charity events.

The pair flirted before Tiger took her to his suite at the plush MGM Grand, where they had "wild and crazy sex".

Jamie - who furiously denies recent claims by Hollywood madame Michelle Braun that she was an escort girl - left Woods her modelling card.

She said: "I was at a barbecue with friends the next day and I told a few of them about Tiger. So when he called in front of them it was very exciting for us.

"He gave me his private mobile number but warned, 'Just save it on your phone as a different name from mine in case somebody finds it.'"

The next weekend he asked Jamie to join him at the Chicago Open golf tournament, saying an aide would make the arrangements.

Jamie was whisked to his hotel and taken to his room. "Once we were alone, we talked for a bit," she recalled. But his chat-up lines weren't the best. "He told this story about when he was younger and had to wear braces and a headpiece because his teeth were so bad," she said.

Less than three weeks after their affair started, Woods invited Jamie to his marital home - one of five properties he owns around the world. Jamie, who once played a mistress in the TV series CSI - said: "It was a little strange for me.

"There were recent pictures of him and Elin, as well as their wedding photos. That did make me feel bad for his wife. I'd hate someone to do that to me.

"I knew it wasn't right and I did try to put a stop to things but Tiger would pull me into his arms and on to the bed and beg me not to go. He'd tell me, 'But I love being around you'. And the truth is, I loved being around him."

NIGHTS OF PASSION - she said he made her feel like his girlfriend rather than a mistress. She said: I had the run of the house, and when we were together it really felt like we were a proper couple.

"I'd get up in the morning and he'd be downstairs eating a bowl of Lucky Charms cereal on the sofa and watching cartoons like a kid.

"I never confronted him about his reasons for cheating. I've been cheated on by guys so I know how they can be."

Jamie also claims Woods was protective of her, and got jealous when she flirted with other men. She recalled: "One night we were partying with Tiger's pals and some other guys. "I was dancing close with all of them and I could feel Tiger's eyes on me. Then he started to get jealous and cut in and pulled me on to his lap.

"He was always openly affectionate towards me in front of his friends. They knew what was going on between us for sure - and Tiger knew they would keep his secret."

The affair floundered in late 2006, when Woods - who is believed to be a billionaire - refused his mistress's request for cash. Jamie - whose videoed interview can be seen online at notw.co.uk - said:

"Tiger was always tight with money. When we'd go out for dinner, he never left a tip or he'd ask for the meal to be complimentary because he was 'Tiger Woods'. I just thought that was cheap and it always embarrassed me. "I never expected him to buy me anything. But he's the richest sports star on the planet and he never once bought me a gift - not even for Christmas or my birthday.

"Once, when we were in Las Vegas, playing blackjack in the MGM Grand's private gambling room, he won hundreds of thousands of dollars.

"He had it all there in his pockets yet never thought once about giving me a chip or letting me have a turn on him. He was very, very stingy with his money." But Jamie turned to him when she wanted to move out of the home she was sharing with an ex.

She recalled: "I was in tears as I begged Tiger to give me financial assistance. He just batted me away and told me, 'Look, don't worry, babe. I'm sure everything will work itself out.'

"I persisted and told him straight, 'I am financially unstable right now and you are a very wealthy man. I would never ordinarily ask you but I think you've known me long enough to trust me and want to help me'.

"His response was stony silence. Then he started, 'Where did this come from? You've never said anything like this before. I don't like this side of you.'They started rowing and Jamie hung up. Then Woods phoned her back, saying: "Don't do this. I really care about you."

However, Jamie has not spoken to him since - and a few months after their bust-up she heard Elin was pregnant with Tiger's first child.

Jamie said: "That hurt my feelings more than anything.

"Clearly all the time he was sleeping with me he was still sleeping with her - yet I had managed to convince myself he wasn't.

She added: "I firmly believe he deserves everything he's getting now. He doesn't belong married, that's for sure."

So, that's why all the jumpoffs aren't keeping any secrets - it's the only way they'll gain a dollar at his expense!

I can't see why a broke chick would sleep with a married billionaire for the hell of it.

Accenture ends Tiger Woods sponsorship deal

The giant management consultancy firm Accenture has ended its sponsorship of Tiger Woods, saying the golfer is "no longer the right representative".

Woods has been engulfed in a media storm since a disturbance outside his house two weeks ago. He has since admitted being unfaithful to his wife.

Woods is taking an indefinite break from golf to try to save his marriage.

Accenture is the second sponsor to react to the news. Gillette has already said it would cut back Woods' role.

"For the past six years, Accenture and Tiger Woods have had a very successful sponsorship arrangement and his achievements on the golf course have been a powerful metaphor for business success in Accenture's advertising," the company said in a statement.

"However, given the circumstances of the last two weeks, after careful consideration and analysis, the company has determined that he is no longer the right representative for its advertising.

Accenture said that "it wishes only the best for Tiger Woods and his family".

Billion dollars

Among his other sponsors, the US phone firm AT&T has said it is "presently evaluating our ongoing relationship" with Woods, but his main sponsor Nike said it was standing firm and offered him its "full support".

Until scandal broke, Woods was one of the biggest targets for global corporations. Links with an array of brands - also including Electronic Arts video games, Gatorade drinks, and Tag Heuer watches - have helped him amass a fortune.

The Associated Press says he is believed to be the first sports star to have earned $1bn (£600m).

Woods, 33, is considered one of the best golfers of all time and was thought by many experts to be likely to overhaul Jack Nicklaus' record of 18 major championship victories.

He has won 14 so far, but BBC golf commentator Peter Alliss believes it is possible he will not play again.

"He's going to have to put up with a lot of nonsense and ridicule and comment for the next 20 to 30 years and it depends how well he tackles that," he said.

"He's in a very, nasty awkward position of his own making, I'm afraid.

"You have to wonder about all sorts of things that we're not privy to - his state of mind, whether he wants to continue, whether he's thinking of early retirement."

The storm blew up after Woods crashed his car into a fire hydrant and a tree outside his Florida home at the end of November.

Rumours of an argument in the Woods household led to media allegations about extra-marital affairs. Lurid headlines have linked him to a string of women.

On Friday, Woods admitted for the first time that he had been unfaithful to his wife Elin.

"I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children," said Woods in a statement.

Report: Doctor being investigated in PED probe

NEW YORK – A Canadian doctor who has treated golfer Tiger Woods, swimmer Dara Torres and NFL players is suspected of providing athletes with performance-enhancing drugs, according to a newspaper report.

Human growth hormone and Actovegin, a drug extracted from calf's blood, in Dr. Anthony Galea's bag at the U.S.-Canada border in late September, The New York Times reported. He was arrested Oct. 15 in Toronto by Canadian police.

Using, selling or importing Actovegin is illegal in the United States.

The FBI has opened an investigation based in part on medical records found on Galea's computer relating to several professional athletes, people briefed on the inquiry told the Times on condition of anonymity because they did not want to be identified discussing a continuing investigation.

The anonymous sources did not disclose the names of the athletes, and Galea told the newspaper "it would be impossible" for investigators to have found material linking his athletes to performance-enhancing drugs.

According to the newspaper, Galea has developed a blood-spinning technique — platelet-rich plasma therapy — to help speed post-surgery recovery.

Galea visited Woods' home in Florida at least four times in February and March, the newspaper reported, to provide that platelet therapy after his agents were concerned by his slow recovery from June 2008 knee surgery.

Asked about Woods' involvement with Galea, agent Mark Steinberg told the newspaper in an e-mail: "I would really ask that you guys don't write this? If Tiger is NOT implicated, and won't be, let's please give the kid a break."

According to the report, Galea said Woods was referred to him by the golfer's agents at International Management Group.

However, Steinberg sent an e-mail to the AP on Tuesday that said: "No one at IMG has ever met or recommended Dr. Galea, nor were we worried about the progress of Tiger's recovery, as the Times falsely reported. The treatment Tiger received is a widely accepted therapy and to suggest some connection with illegality is recklessly irresponsible."

Woods announced Friday that he was taking an indefinite leave from golf to concentrate on his marriage after allegations of infidelity surfaced in recent weeks.

Torres told the newspaper Galea found a previously undiagnosed tear in her quad tendon.

"Excluding draining my knee, he has never treated me, but I did see his chiropractor who did soft-tissue work on my leg," she said in an e-mail to the Times. "That was the extent of my visit with him."

Her agent, Evan Morgenstein, told the AP that Torres was not available for comment Monday night.

Brian H. Greenspan, Galea's criminal defense attorney, said an investigation will vindicate his client.

"Dr. Galea was never engaged in any wrongdoing or any impropriety," Greenspan said. "Not only does he have a reputation that is impeccable, he is a person at the very top of his profession."

While acknowledging he used HGH himself for 10 years, Galea told the newspaper he never gave any athletes the substance, which is banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency. And Galea told the Times he has never combined HGH or Actovegin with his platelet treatments.

"All these athletes come see me in Canada cause I fix them, and I think people just assume that I'm giving them stuff," he told the newspaper. "They don't have to come to me to get HGH and steroids. You can walk into your local gym in New York and get HGH."

Prescribing HGH is legal in Canada; it can be used in the United States but only in a few instances that don't include hastening recovery from surgery.

Galea is also being investigated by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for smuggling, advertising and selling unapproved drugs as well as criminal conspiracy, the Times reported.

Theresa Rogers, latest woman linked to Tiger Woods, claims she taught golfer to be 'a great lover'

Woods' dad taught him how to golf, but Theresa Rogers says she showed him what to do in the sack.

The latest woman linked to the golfing great reportedly bragged to her buddies that she showed Woods "everything he needed to know to be a great lover."

"Theresa was crazy about Tiger but she didn't want to feel like a bought woman, a paid escort," a source told RadarOnline.com on Tuesday.

"She just wanted to be the woman who schooled Tiger in the bedroom."

A 40-something South Florida bombshell, Rogers had been outed earlier by Radar as one of the disgraced golf great's longest-serving gal pals - and apparently his oldest.

That report could not be independently confirmed, but Radar said Rogers has hired high-powered L.A. lawyer Gloria Allred, who is representing another of Woods' reported mistresses - New York party girl Rachel Uchitel.

Allred, contacted by the Daily News, declined to comment. Radar reported Rogers traveled extensively with Woods over a five-year period and took up with Woods, 33, before he married Nordegren, 29.

She continued seeing Woods after he tied the knot, according to Radar. Like Nordegren, she's a curvy blond.

A holiday photo on Radar's Web site shows a full-lipped woman it says is Rogers - clad in a body-hugging clothes - being held in the arms of another man in front of a Christmas tree.

Rogers is one of more than a dozen women tied to Woods since his fateful crash outside his Windermere, Fla., mansion.

He later apologized for his "transgressions." The latest revelations about Rogers and Woods came as MSNBC.com reported that the golfer sent hush money to his honeys.

Woods wired anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000 a month to several of the busty babes to whom he's been linked, MSNBC reported. One lucky lady reportedly was on Tiger's tab to the tune of up to $20,000 a month, the network reported.

"The money comes via a wire transfer," one woman told MSNBC. "There's no contract about it, there's no discussion about what it's for, but it's implied that it's in exchange for keeping quiet about his affair."

MSNBC cited as their sources "several women who were involved with the golfer" but did not identify any of them. If Woods was paying women to be quiet, he better have covered his tracks, a tax expert said.

"The IRS regulations require that someone gifting in excess of $13,000 per year file a gift tax return," said John Fisher, a Pennsylvania-based tax attorney.

The MSNBC report also claims that Woods tried to stay in contact with his girls after his sordid secrets started spilling out - following a reported fight with his wife, Elin Nordegren, on Thanksgiving night.

"Elin took his cell phone away, so he had to call from his land line at home," one of the woman told MSNBC.

"He hasn't called in at least a week though."

Tiger Woods sex scandal update: Monthly payments to mistresses for silence on affairs - report

Tiger Woods sent hush money to his honeys, according to a new report.

Woods wired anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000 a month to several of the busty babes to whom he's been linked, MSNBC.com reported Tuesday.

One lucky lady reportedly was on Tiger's tab to the tune of up to $20,000 a month, the network reports.

"Elin took his cell phone away, so he had to call from his land line at home," one of the woman told MSNBC. "He hasn't called in at least a week though."

The report that Woods may have been trying to buy their silence came amid revelations that the girl-crazy golfer had a 40-something siren in his harem.

Theresa Rogers of Wellington, Fla., was outed by Radaronline.com as one of the disgraced golf great's longest-serving gal pals - and apparently his oldest.

The report could not be independently confirmed, but Radar said Rogers has hired high-powered L.A. lawyer Gloria Allred, who is representing another of Woods' reported mistresses - New York party girl Rachel Uchitel.

Allred, contacted by the Daily News, declined to comment.

Radar reported Rogers traveled extensively with Woods over a five-year period, cavorting with him in city after city.

Rogers took up with Woods, 33, before he married Nordegren, 29, and continued carrying on with him, according to Radar.

Like Nordegren, she's a curvy blond.

A holiday photo on Radar's Web site shows a full-lipped woman it says is Rogers - clad in a body-hugging halter top and slacks - being held in the arms of another man in front of a Christmas tree.

Depending on who's doing the counting, Rogers is either the 14th or 16th woman tied to Woods since his fateful crash outside his home in Windermere, Fla.

Tiger and wife headed for permanent split

By Courtney Hazlett

The Scoop

msnbc.com

Pro golfer Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren are headed for an imminent split that will likely be permanent, according to sources who are familiar with the couple’s situation.

Recent photos taken of Elin without her wedding and engagement rings were meant to be a public message that the breakup is coming sooner rather than later.

“She knew what she was doing when she stepped out and pumped gas without her wedding rings,” said one source. “There are plenty of people who would have filled the tank for her so she wouldn’t even have to be photographed. She chose not to go down that road. Moreover, she chose to make it clear those rings were not on her. No hands shoved in pockets, no hiding. Remember, she’s still one half of a couple that has had, up until recently, a most-crafted image. She knows what she’s doing.”

She won’t be one half of that couple for long, according to another source.

“She and Tiger are living separately now, but she’ll be making this split very open and official right after Christmas,” said that source.

Another source said that Tiger has a long road ahead if he wants forgiveness. “Elin is not going to be one of these ‘stand by her man’ women,” the source said. “She’s a strong woman, this is beyond embarrassing, and she has a daughter and son she has to think about, who will know about this one day. Tiger’s got a long way to go to make things right, and have the kind of family he was fond of talking about. He’s going to have to play by Elin’s rules now. Forgiveness isn’t exactly around the corner.”

Source: Elin Nordegren Plans Split from Tiger Woods

The holidays may bring a final showdown in the marriage of Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren, a source close to the golfer's wife tells PEOPLE, saying, "She plans to leave Tiger."

Another source says, "She's made up her mind. There's nothing to think about: he's never going to change," PEOPLE reports in its upcoming issue, on newsstands Friday.

Photos circulated this week, showing Nordegren, 29, pumping gas into her vehicle near the couple's home in Windermere, Fla., last Saturday, also captured the Swedish-born former nanny and mother of two (Sam, 2, and Charlie, 10 months), not wearing her wedding ring.

While the missing band "meant nothing," insists a source, a high-profile Florida divorce attorney tells PEOPLE that Nordegren has met with lawyers to renegotiate the Woods' prenuptial agreement.

On Thursday, workers began moving large items including what appeared to be works of art out of the couple's home in Windermere, Fla., and Nordegren was seen giving them instructions, according to the New York Post.

Here's the Star story:

On the Cover: Tiger Woods & Jessica Simpson — The Shocking Inside Story

December 16, 2009

Following Star's bombshell that Tiger Woods was cheating on his wife with NYC event planner Rachel Uchitel, more than a dozen other women — including cocktail waitresses, models and escorts — have been linked to the superstar golfer. Now a celebrity has been added into the mix: None other than Jessica Simpson!

In the Dec. 28 issue of Star, we reveal that there was an A-list name in Tiger’s little black book. Just days before Jessica's split with Tony Romo, she had a sizzling meeting with the fallen golf star at the AT&T National Pro-Am golf tournament in Bethesda, Md.

"Tiger liked what he saw and let her know it," a source tells Star.

Since Jess had been fighting with Tony — who was Tiger's golf partner at the July tournament — she gave as good as she got.

“Jessica said that she felt like Tony wasn’t paying attention to her, so she was like, ‘What the heck!’ ” says the source. “She decided to have fun with Tiger whether it bothered Tony or not.”

Phone numbers were exchanged — email addresses too.

Were Barkley, Jordan role models for Woods?

By Courtney Hazlett

The Scoop

msnbc.com

Tiger Woods’ “indiscretions” began with a pair of bad influences, claims one of his former mistresses.

“He was always palling around with Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan,” the woman said. “They’re the ones who showed him the way.”

It’s ironic, then, that since the scandal broke, Barkley says he and Jordan have been unable to reach Woods.

What would he say if he could talk to the golfer? “I would tell him I love him,” Barkley told the Sporting News on Wednesday. “I have been disappointed with the people who are around him. They have got him so locked up. I know myself and Michael (Jordan have) been trying to get to him and we just want to tell him: ‘Hey, man, we love you and you are our friend.’ You need to know in times like this you have got friends.”

Barkley also believes that it’s time for Woods to show his face.

“I am so pissed that they have got him holed up,” he said. “He is a 33-year-old grown man. He did something wrong to his wife. He has to answer to her and his kids. That’s it. But this notion that he is hiding out ... I mean he hasn’t shown his face in almost two weeks.”

If Woods does appear in public, it will likely be without his wife, Elin Nordegren, or his two young children. Elin is due to depart shortly for Sweden, where she will spend the Christmas holiday, according to a source. No word yet on Tiger’s plans.

“Jessica said that she felt like Tony wasn’t paying attention to her, so she was like, ‘What the heck!’

“She decided to have fun with Tiger whether it bothered Tony or not.”

But Simpson’s rep has spoken out to set the record straight.

Tiger Woods: Divorce Looms for 'Athlete of the Decade'

ABC News Source Says Elin Plans on Divorce

Dec. 17, 2009 —

The good news for Tiger Woods is that the relentless reports about his marital infidelity did not stop him from being named the Athlete of the Decade by The Associated Press. The bad news is that they apparently have caused the golf superstar's wife to leave him.

A source close to Woods' wife, Elin Nordegren, told ABC News.com Wednesday that a "divorce is 100 percent on."

Nordegren, a 29-year-old former model, was recently photographed without her wedding ring.

"It would not appear that Elin Nordegren is going to be standing by her man," Kate Coyne, senior editor at People Magazine, told "Good Morning America." "Sources have told us that Elin has told us this marriage is over and she is looking to divorce."

According to Coyne, Nordegren is "shopping around" for a divorce attorney. People Magazine reported Nordegren would be going to Sweden soon to get out of the media glare.

"She's not rushing to divorce, however," the source told ABCNews.com. "She's going to take her sweet time. She wants all the dirty laundry to be out on the table before she signs anything."

The dark clouds of divorce reports swept in on what was an ever-so-brief moment of positive press for Woods when The AP named him the Athlete of the Decade Wednesday.

His record was apparently so strong -- 64 wins in this decade including 12 majors -- that Tiger brought home the prize even though half the votes came in after his scandal broke.

"The voters, the editors around the country, were able to separate Tiger the man from Tiger the golfer, and they decided that his performance on the links was so good that whatever had happened in his personal life -- that really wasn't what they were deciding on," said John Affleck, AP sports enterprise editor.

Like many of his golf matches, the contest wasn't even close. Woods received 56 out of the total 142 votes cast, according to The Associated Press.

Bicyclist Lance Armstrong came in second with 33 votes, followed by Swiss tennis sensation Roger Federer and U.S. Olympian swimmer Michael Phelps.

Tiger's Crash and the Resulting Fallout

Trouble for Tiger's previously pristine image started in the middle of the night Nov. 27 when he crashed his SUV into a neighbor's tree, after hitting bushes and a fire hydrant. Woods was rushed to a local hospital.

The cause of Woods' late-night accident was not revealed, but rumors swirled that it was related to allegations that Woods' was having an affair with New York nightclub hostess Rachel Uchitel.

Uchitel initially denied the allegations to the New York Post and said she and Tiger "are not friends," in a report published on Dec. 1.

But just as Uchitel was denying an affair with Woods, a Los Angeles cocktail waitress named Jamie Grubbs, came forward to claim that she did have a romantic relationship with the golf great and that she had proof in the form of more than "300 racy texts" and photos.

The next day, Dec. 2, Woods made a public statement on his Web site, apologizing for "transgressions" and "personal sins."

Since then, a steady stream of women -- including a porn star and a pancake waitress -- have claimed to had affairs with Woods.

Soon several major sponsors began rethinking their relationship with Woods and at least one major company, Accenture, dropped him completely.

For his part, Woods took an "indefinite" leave of golf and has otherwise stayed silent. Even his close friends, like former NBA star Charles Barkley, said they haven't been able to reach him.

"I think when you have these fires in your life, as I call them, you need to talk to somebody else who is famous, who have been through things in their life," Barkley said.

ONE IS THE LONELIEST TIGER

Solitude, as it must, comes to all men - even Tiger Woods, as the one time King Of Swing after a endless parade of lovers find himself alone - munching on cereal, watching cartoons and reduced to playing solo golf at night - the once haughty Tiger reduced to a lone wolf without a pack.

With bitter and deservedly angry wife Elin Nordegren packing up the kids and heading home to Sweden for the holidays alone sans wedding ring, Tiger spends his days in seclusion surrouded by the once impenetrable Team Tiger, greedily chewing cereal by the handful, watching animated antics of classic cartoons as his carefully constructed world unravels in the wake of rampant philandering that drove his wife from his bed and her heart, sources said.

Pals far Tiger may be "cracking up" as Woods has isolated himself even from his closest friends since the night Elin exploded -- the night Elin reportedly learned of The ENQUIRER's expose of Tiger Girl Numero Uno Rachel Uchitel, sending Tiger careening down the road of celebrity meltdown, admitted infidelity and shame.

"There is a real concern among his friends that he is dealing with the situation in a very unhealthy way," a pal told UK tab London Sun.

And close pal Charles Barkley has been reaching out to Woods but with no response.

"It's very frustrating," Barkley revealed. "Hey, man, we love you. If you need anything, pick up the phone."

Woods has not been officially seen in public since his bizarre Thanksgiving weekend fender bender with himself that lead to a seeming endless parade of self-confessed lovers their hands outstretched for pay or play.

But there are those in the gated community where Woods and Nordegeren lived that have seen him moving furtively in the cool night air. He is rumored to be returning from joint therapy sessions with the missus or meetings with his legal team, trying to anticipate what the initial salvo will be in the Woods' forthcoming all-consuming divorce war.

Sources say he'd then head off alone to a nearby nighttime driving range, slicing ball after ball for hours off into the dank Florida night.

"He goes after dark so he can't be seen," a source said.

Meanwhile sources say Elin's powering up legal top gun Sorrel Trope, 82, the King of the A-List Divorce Lawyers whose 60 year Hollywood client list spans Cary Grant and Rod Steiger to Nicole Kidman, High Grant and Britney Spears.

Trope's legal admirers say he is a hard nose negotiator who goes to the mat for whoever can afford him.

Legal sources told The ENQUIRER the spurned Swedish fury will try to take Tiger for at least half his billions

Tag Heuer to drop Woods from U.S. campaigns

‘We have to take account of the sensitivity of some consumers,’ CEO says

GENEVA - Swiss watch maker Tag Heuer says it will not use Tiger Woods' image in advertising campaigns in the United States for the foreseeable future.

Tag Heuer CEO Jean-Christophe Babin told Swiss daily Le Matin on Friday that the company was reacting to "recent events" surrounding the golfer.

"We recognize Tiger Woods as a great sportsman but we have to take account of the sensitivity of some consumers in relation to recent events," Babin was quoted saying.

Woods has taken an indefinite leave from golf to work on repairing his marriage after numerous allegations of infidelities.

The newspaper said Tag Heuer will continue to support Woods' charitable foundation but will use other brand ambassadors in U.S. ads, including actor Leonardo Di Caprio.

The watch maker could not immediately be reached for comment because the story was released on the newspaper's Web site after Tag Heuer's headquarters at La Chaux-de-Fonds closed for the holidays until Jan. 4. The full interview was to be published in Saturday's editions of Le Matin.

Tag Heuer joins other sponsors in backing away from Woods as his image has taken a beating since a Thanksgiving holiday car accident at the golfer's Florida home was followed by an admission of extramarital "transgressions."

Consulting firm Accenture dropped him as its representative last weekend, and Gillette said it would stop airing his ads for their razors.

Tag Heuer initially said Monday it would stand by Woods, but moderated its support later that day by saying it would assess its relationship with the world's highest-earning athlete.

Report: Tiger Woods cut deal to kill National Enquirer story

Detroit News staff and wire reports

Tiger Woods once gave Men's Fitness an exclusive interview and photo shoot in return for the National Enquirer -- owned by the same company as the health magazine -- killing a story that included photos of the world's No. 1 golfer frolicking with a woman other than his wife, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday.

While American Media Inc. told the Journal there was no deal, former employees of the company with "direct knowledge of the arrangement" said that's exactly what happened.

A spokesman and a lawyer for AMI said passages in the Journal report were "inaccurate" and "false," but when asked by the Journal if any deal was made kill the story, the lawyer said only, "No comment."

Woods, a notoriously private person who typically only gave Golf Digest much access because they forked over $1 million a year to the Tiger Woods Foundation, posed for the cover of the August 2007 Men's Fitness.

Golf Digest editor Jerry Tarde told the Journal he was "mystified" when word came of the Men's Fitness spread.

That issue sold 176,000 copies, about 30 percent better than average for that year.

The Journal said the Enquirer had pictures of Woods with another female, believed to be Florida restaurant employee Mindy Lawton, in a church parking lot in 2007.

The photos were poorly lit but the Enquirer apparently contacted the Woods camp anyway, and its initial response was not to comment on the alleged affair. But Woods' reps later made the magazine offer, the Journal reported.

Lawton has claimed to have an affair with Woods, describing their sex to the News of the World as "extremely good." The Journal reported Lawton was paid an undisclosed sum to tell her story exclusively to News of the World, and that she's not allowed to comment to other media outlets until after Dec. 20.

Lawton is one of several women who have come forward claiming to have had an affair with Woods -- some showed off voicemails and text messages -- since his bizarre car accident outside his Orlando-area home the day after Thanksgiving.

In other Woods news:

• His wife has hired one of the premier star divorce attorneys, the New York Daily News has reported.

Elin Nordegren has apparently retained the services of Sorrell Trope, who's made a name for himself representing the likes of Cary Grant, Nicole Kidman, Hugh Grant and Britney Spears. It was reported Thursday by ABC News and Wednesday by People Magazine that Nordgeren plans to separate from Woods.

"He's in a class of maybe 12 or 15 lawyers that handles very high-asset, high-income divorces with contentious custody cases," Beverly Hills family law arbitrator Alexandra Leichter told the Daily News, speaking of Trope.

"He's the dean of California matrimonial bar," Manhattan divorce lawyer told the newspaper.

• The Daily News reported earlier this week that Nordgeren was taking the couple's two kids -- Sam, 2, and Charlie, 10 months -- to Sweden to spend the holiday. Woods was said to be staying home to be spending time with pals.

But who knows if he'll be hanging out with anybody. The London Sun reported the world's No. 1-ranked golfer has been spending almost all his time in seclusion, eating cereal during the day and hitting golf balls at night.

I guess we can mark one blind item solved.

Which blind, empress? I was just going to ask if anyone remembers a blind about a popular public figure with mistresses all over the country - at the time I thought it was Tom Hanks. Anyone?
