Doesn't she ever go anywhere with the baby's daddy?

Halle Berry’s baby’s father doesn’t want to live with her!!!

We are learning that Gabriel Aubry who is Halle Berry’s baby’s father, has no plans of moving to L.A. to live with the actress while they raise their child. He instead wants to remain in NY and pursue his own modeling career.

A source says, “She’s been shocked by the news. Halle had always assumed Gabriel would move to the west coast so they could live together as one happy family. If Gabriel stays in New York, it’ll mean long separations. She knows their relationship won’t survive and has been begging him to change his mind.“

The source adds, “Halle hardly knew her own dad and they were still estranged at the time of his death, so she’s desperate for her daughter to have a father she sees regularly.”

Pregnant Halle Berry still has no desire to make her relationship with long term boyfriend Gabriel Aubry official - because she already feels "more married" than ever before.

The Oscar-winning actress has previously revealed she has no plans to wed model Aubry after two failed marriages - first to former baseball player David Justice in 1992 and then to singer Eric Benet in 2001. Her second union ended in divorce in 2005. And the 41-year-old star, who is currently expecting her first child with Aubry, insists the couple's life is already complete without the need for a wedding. She says, "I'll never marry again. I have a good healthy love for myself and love in my life.

I no longer feel the need to be someone's wife and I don't need to validation of a marriage certificate. "Gabriel's a wonderful person and I'm just happy I've found someone really special to have a baby with. In a way I feel more married than I ever felt in two marriages. "Gabriel and I have decided to redefine marriage for ourselves."

What The Hell Is He Staring At?!

Hasn't that dude seen a big Berry before? That berry is ready for the plucking. I would love to see Halle Berry and JLo try and hug. It would be like sumo wrestling. Here's Halle visiting a friend yesterday. That bodyguard needs to be fired. He's supposed to be looking out for danger, not looking at her pregnant boobs.

She is still gorgeous!!! When I was in my last trimester I wanted to hide...I felt and looked like the Goodyear Blimp. You go Halle!!!

I agree that she looks great! I think the bodyguard was looking at the stress on her face and was concerned and it's pretty nice that he's willing to give her a hand for support. So much more natural then the palm up, elbow grabbing that certain other people do with pregnant and non pregnant women.

IN other words, the sperm donor has already filled duty #1 by knocking her up with his good looking genes and duty #2 is to be her escort to functions when she wants him to. He's been paid well for his good looking swimmers.

Halle Berry Has a Baby Girl

Originally posted Sunday March 16, 2008 09:20 PM EDT

Halle Berry – who only recently said, "I want to stay pregnant forever" – had a baby girl Sunday and "is doing great," her rep has confirmed.

The father is Gabriel Aubry. Berry, 41, and the 32-year-old model met while shooting a Versace ad in Los Angeles in November 2005 and first stepped out publicly together three months later at the February 2006 opening of a Versace boutique in New York City.

Berry first announced her pregnancy in September last year, when she was three months along.

During her pregnancy, the Oscar, Emmy and Razzie winner told InStyle she felt "fantastic" thanks to eating right and keeping fit with yoga, swimming, light weights and an elliptical machine. "Right now I just have so much joy and energy," she said. "I can just go and go and go."

For his part, Aubry has been reading baby manuals and parenting books.

Halle Berry Boyfriend's Family 'So Happy' About Baby News

By Eileen Travers

The aunt has spoken – and she's delighted.

"I was so happy when I found out," Eugenie Aubry, 36, tells PEOPLE about the new baby girl born on Sunday to Halle Berry and Eugenie's younger brother, Gabriel Aubry.

"It's been a long time since we've had a new baby in the family," said Eugenie. "It's very exciting."

While she has yet to meet her brand new niece, the Canadian resident was thrilled to hear that new mom Halle has been practicing her language skills.

"I'm a Quebecer, and it's great that she is learning how to speak French," Eugenie says. "I'm glad that the little one will speak French, too."

No doubt, the newborn will have plenty of Quebec cousins to practice with, because mom Halle, 41, and dad Gabriel, 32, try to visit Gabriel's 64-year-old father, Gérard, and eight brothers and sisters as often as possible.

Another rendezvous is just around the corner, according to Aunt Eugenie – who says the Aubry family is planning a welcome party in Montreal for its newest member.

"We're going to have a big party for them," she says. "My father is so happy right now."

Halle baby's $60G nursery

NY Daily News

Halle Berry has everything she needs for that 7-pound, 4-ounce girl she and boyfriend Gabriel Aubry welcomed on Sunday. Though Halle's camp is keeping mum about the name, we can tell you that the couple has spent close to $60,000 outfitting nurseries in their three homes. Our source says Halle went for "all whites and neutrals" while shopping at Petit Tresor in L.A. And everything — from the sheets to the stuffed animals — had to be made with cotton that had never had a mist of pesticide on it. "She's obsessed with organic," says our spy. Except for that $1,200 Mia Bossi leather diaper bag

Halle Berry Reveals Daughter's Name

Tuesday March 18, 2008

Halle Berry and beau Gabriel Aubry have named their newborn daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry, her rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.

What's behind the name?

"Nahla is the Arabic word for 'drink of water,'" Pamela Redmond Satran, the co-author of The Baby Name Bible and Cool Names for Babies tells Us. "Ariela is related to the Hebrew Ariel, which means 'lion of god.'

"Nahla is one of those names that is occasionally found among people of African or Arabic descent, but isn't commonly used in any particular culture," she adds.

Both names also have a connection to the big screen.

"Nala was the name of Simba's lioness mate in Disney's The Lion King, so it kind of has an African flavor as opposed to a genuine African pedigree," says Satran. And Ariela's "Disney antecedent," she says, is Ariel in The Little Mermaid.

Berry and Aubry welcomed the girl Sunday.

Aubry’s sister, Eugenie, told Us he couldn’t contain his excitement when Berry went into labor.

“He called my father to say, ‘It's time! It's happening!’” Eugenie said. “She was about to give birth. He sounded a bit nervous but happy!”

Halle Berry keeping baby Nahla under wraps

The Scoop

It looks like we’ll be seeing pictures of Halle Berry’s post-baby body before we see pictures of the baby. Berry and Gabriel Aubry’s baby, Nahla, was born March 16 and has yet to make an appearance in the pages of any celebrity weekly.

One magazine editor said that “photos are being shopped, but nothing’s been settled,” so we're left to wonder if Berry will bring Nahla to the Halle Berry Celebrity Golf Classic on April 27. At the very least, the actress will be revealing her post-baby body.

According to Us Weekly, Berry wants to be back in fit form for the tournament. “She’s thrilled to start exercising again,” the source added of the star, whose dialed-back pregnancy fitness regimen includes yoga, swimming and light weights.

Still, for Berry, nothing these days tops spending time at home. “Halle loves being a mom,” the source told the magazine. “She is so happy.”

Halle Berry Gets Access to Parenting Advice

New mom Halle Berry is getting by with a little help from a friend who knows something about parenting – and Hollywood.

"We've e-mailed, and she's loving motherhood," Nancy O'Dell told PEOPLE at Thursday's National Lampoon's One, Two, Many premiere in Hollywood. Berry, 41, gave birth to daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry last month.

"She is loving every minute of it, couldn't be any happier," Access Hollywood host O'Dell, who is friends with Berry, says. "She's going to be such a great mom."

O'Dell, 42, who herself gave birth last June to daughter Ashby Grace, sent Berry a lengthy e-mail of motherly advice – and the Oscar-winning actress replied with thanks.

"I sent her a whole page e-mail about things I wish friends had told me," O'Dell says. "I said, 'I wish people had given me this advice. They didn't, so I'm going to give it to you.' She was appreciative, really appreciative."

Berry's daughter will be a fine addition to kids' play dates, O'Dell Says, though she joked that she was holding out for Berry to have a boy.

"I'm glad she had a girl, so the girls can play, but the other side of me went, I bet that would be a very attractive young boy to set up with my girl," O'Dell said. "I was pulling for either one."

Halle Berry's Breast Dash

Halle Berry made a swift exit from her own star-studded golf event to feed her baby.

The actress was hosting the Halle Berry Celebrity Golf Tournament on Monday (28.04.08) but left early, telling guests six-week-old Nahla Ariela was "calling for my breast".

Halle, who was hosting the fundraising event with partner Gabriel Aubry at Los Angeles' Mountain Gate Country Club, was happy to pose for pictures with guests around the course, but her baby daughter stayed in a trailer with a nanny.

The 44-year-old new mother hosted a lunch after the event, but she and Gabriel left shortly after 4pm, with Halle telling guests: "I'm going to have to leave. My baby is calling for my breast. So, if I don't see everyone later, thank you!"

The event marked the second public appearance in a week for Halle, who revealed her slim post-baby body at a charity auction at the Beverly Hills hotel on Sunday (27.04.08).

Halle and Gabriel have been dating since November 2005. Their daughter, Nahla, was born in March.
