Ivanka Trump: 'Zero Chance' I'd Join The View

People

Ivanka Trump is shooting down recent reports that she might be the newest co-host to fill one of the empty seats on The View.

"There's zero chance I would do that," The Donald's daughter told Ryan Seacrest during his KIIS FM radio show on Tuesday.

Earlier this week, the New York Post's Page Six reported that Trump was among the candidates being considered to replace Rosie O'Donnell.

"I'm working on the sexiest projects around the world," said Trump, who is the Vice President of real estate development and acquisitions for her father's company. "So to me to be on a television show every single day at a designated period of time just wouldn't work for my schedule."

When Seacrest asked if she'd been offered the position, Trump replied: "I've gotten a lot of requests – let's just leave it at that."

"Have you had a conversation with Barbara Walters?" Seacrest asked her. "Not with Barbara personally, no." She said.

As for Walters's relationship with Donald Trump, which allegedly chilled after the blow-out between him and O'Donnell, Ivanka said it's not an issue for her.

"I think Barbara Walters is terrific. I think she's done a great job. She has had differences with my father," she said. "I think his problems mostly lay with Rosie, and somehow that sort of boiled over. But I think Barbara's great, and the show is much better today than it was."

Despite saying she won't accept a permanent co-hosting job, a temporary gig isn't out of the question.

Asked if she'd consider sitting in on the show for a week, Trump answered: "That could be interesting."

Ivanka Trump to Join Trump Board

Jul 14, 2:52 PM EST

The Associated Press

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- Heiress and former runway model Ivanka Trump is joining the board of the gaming company that bears her flamboyant father's name.

"She's been outstanding in everything she has done, and she will be an outstanding board member," Donald Trump told The Press of Atlantic City for Saturday editions.

Ivanka Trump will join the board of Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc.

The 25-year-old already has some experience to draw from: She was her father's sidekick on his reality television show "The Apprentice."

She currently is a vice president with the Trump Organization, which controls Trump hotels, real estate holdings and golf courses, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, one of the nation's top business schools.

Before joining the board, Ivanka Trump must get a license from the state Casino Control Commission. The agency is expected to grant her preliminary approval as soon as Wednesday.

Casino regulators will conduct a background check to make sure she has done nothing that would disqualify her from holding a gambling license.

How many 25 year olds do you know on the Board of Directors of anything? I wish they would stop saying her father hasn't helped her.....

She seems competent and up to the task, but she would not have gotten there without the help.

She's only on a board. I have a corp-to-corp arrangement with where I work. I'm the head of a corporation! B)

Granted - I was the CFO of a corp once (my husband's). This is major corporation.....Not saying she isn't qualified. If it wasn't her father's corp, she wouldn't be on it....

Ivanka Trump Aims to 'Have Fun' With Her Looks

Life's great for Ivanka Trump, who admits there are real advantages to "being young, blonde and, if you will, looking a certain way."

"I'm 26," the devoted daughter of the Donald and his ex, Ivana Trump, tells The New York Times in a new profile, "and I tell myself, 'Why not have a little fun with that?' "

But mostly, the paper reports, Trump is about work. "Real estate is my life," she tells the paper. "It is my day job, if you will. But it consumes my nights and weekends, too."

"As a principal of this company," she says of the family's Trump Organization, "I negotiate all the deals I'm working on. If people think I'm just the boss's daughter, they're deceived."

Nor should anyone think, despite the family's extensive residential holdings, that Ivanka lives rent-free – in fact, she's busy paying down the mortgage on her $1.5 million apartment at Trump Park Avenue.

Being in the Public Eye

The Times notes that Ivanka has successfully avoided the type of scandal that seems to have followed another 26-year-old heiress, Paris Hilton, but the paper can only get Trump to admit to a relationship with real-estate heir and publisher Jared Kushner. Beyond that, there's no comment.

"There are enough stories about my family," she says. "We have all been in the public eye. And we understand the process."

Finally, when it comes to the reports that Trump's face and figure have been surgically altered to help in her "looking a certain way," she responds that the Trumps have a thick skin when it comes to their images. "I grew up watching my father on Saturday Night Live," she says. "You may remember, in some of those skits, they had him dressed up like a chicken."

IVANA-FIANCE ROW DRAWS COPS

Page Six

March 28, 2008 -- FRIENDS of Ivana Trump are crossing their fingers and praying the bouncy Czech and her Italian stallion, Rossano Rubicondi, can stop fighting long enough to actually get married on April 12.

The combative couple were bickering so badly the night of March 17, St. Patrick's Day, that Palm Beach police received a 911 call at 11:23 p.m. and responded to Ivana's mansion on Jungle Road.

"There was a disturbance," a police spokeswoman told Page Six. "No one was arrested."

A Florida source said Rubicondi, 35, who is 24 years younger than Donald Trump's first wife, was briefly handcuffed by the cops, who released him after talking to his tired and emotional fiancée.

"The whole thing is ridiculous," said one friend of the couple. "They've been fighting ever since they met each other, and the only reason anyone can imagine for why they are getting married is for the publicity."

OK! magazine is said to have bought exclusive rights to the wedding photos for $1 million. Guests have been warned that all cellphones and cameras must be checked at the reception desk. To make sure the photos are stunning, all the women have been told to wear pastel gowns - but not pink or yellow - and men are instructed to wear white suits, white shirts, and white ties.

Other sources said the two were still fighting over the prenuptial agreement that Ivana wants the penniless Rossano to sign to protect her considerable assets, which include a townhouse on East 64th Street, houses in St. Tropez, a chic flat on London's Eaton Square and the Palm Beach estate.

Donald Trump, who has written extensively on the necessity for prenups, reportedly assigned one of his lawyers to draft the document, and will "go nuts" if it isn't signed soon, we're told.

The Donald is quasi-hosting the event at his Mar-a-Lago club, with a rehearsal dinner around the swimming pool the night before, and the reception in the ballroom for 550 guests, including Robin Leach, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, Rick and Kathy Hilton and Neil Sedaka, who will perform, as well as a troupe from Cirque du Soleil.

Ivana, who selected six gowns from the couture shows in Paris in February, will be given away by her sons, Donald Jr. and Eric. Her maid of honor is daughter Ivanka, but there will be 24 other bridesmaids and an equal number of groomsmen.

By the way, just want to give Ivanka ups for bidding on the dinner with Trace Adkins on the final Celebrity Apprentice. I'm heartbroken he lost, but I have a feeling his charity is getting hit with donations big time from people who feel like I do (I gave a donation).

UNATTACHED

Page Six

April 2, 2008 -- CALLING all loaded lads: New York's hottest bachelorette, Ivanka Trump, is back on the market. We noticed Trump - who had been dating real estate mogul and New York Observer owner Jared Kushner for almost a year - was flying solo at a few recent soirees, and friends of the couple confirmed yesterday to Page Six that the power couple are no longer together. "It was mutual," said one pal. Another added, "It's a sad thing." Neither had a response for Page Six.

BATTLE OF THE SOCIALITES

Page SIx

April 4, 2008 -- MOST people probably never heard of the New York Observer's new Web game "Socialite Slapdown," but fashion writer Peter Davis is doing his job to spread the word. Insiders say the schmoozer, who once labeled his boyfriend an "it boy" in a New York Times article, is "campaigning to win in his round versus Ivanka Trump" in the "smarts" category. Our social snitch told us, "It's embarrassing. He has nothing better to do than to remind us to vote for him on the hour every hour to win and is taking it so seriously." He's also actively campaigning on Facebook, which makes us want to vote Ivanka.

POST A MUST-READ FOR IVANKA

Page Six

June 18, 2008 --

IVANKA Trump says that as kids, she and her brothers Donald Jr. and Eric learned the tawdry details of their parents' scandalous divorce by reading The Post. The gorgeous blonde tells next month's Town & Country they found out Donald was caught carrying on with model Marla Maples from this newspaper. "We'd come home from school having read [about] them on the cover of The Post," she reveals. The most jolting possibly being: "Marla Boasts to Pals about Donald: BEST SEX I EVER HAD." Ivanka also takes a dig at her peers who don't work for a living: "I'm not the type to be eating bonbons all day. I just can't imagine anything worse than spending my day figuring out what I was going to wear that night." Meanwhile, she flew commercial to Aspen last weekend for the Annual Food & Wine Classic, but had an unexpected one-night layover in Salt Lake City due to storms. She slept at the Quality Inn and ate at Little Caesars for dinner with her $18 stipend from the airline.

Man accused of stalking Ivanka Trump arrested

A 27-year-old man accused of stalking Ivanka Trump has been arrested in Reno.

Police said Justin Massler of Reno was arrested Tuesday on a New York warrant alleging he used the Internet to stalk the daughter of Donald and Ivana Trump.

Ivanka Trump, 28, is the co-host of "Celebrity Apprentice" and a vice president at her father's real estate company.

Massler described himself in a blog posting as "a celebrity stalker who is obsessed with Ivanka Trump" and has a longing to see her.

"He has been doing postings all over the Internet. (He has done) nothing physical or face to face," Reno police Lt. Mike Whan told The Associated Press.

His mother, Randee Massler of Reno, said he has a history of mental illness.

"He never harmed anyone and hasn't done anything other than write articles on the Internet," she told the Reno Gazette-Journal. "He's like a 10-year-old who has a crush on a movie star."

He remained Thursday without bail in the Washoe County Jail in Reno.

Whan said it was not immediately clear whether Massler planned to waive or fight extradition.

New York police Detective William Winning said he did not have any immediate information on the case.

Obsessed fan asks author to help 'win over' Ivanka Trump

An obsessed fan who is charged with harassing Ivanka Trump online is convinced he can "win her over" - once he is out of the "doghouse," according to a new report.

Justin Massler set up a fan blog about the businesswoman and in a post earlier this year, revealed he had attempted to telepathically connect with her.

Massler was subsequently detained by cops in Reno, Nevada after an arrest warrant was issued in New York, where Trump lives.

The man appeared at Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday, April 1 and was charged with six crimes, including stalking in the third degree.

He was subsequently released on $16,000 bail, and ordered to stay away from the daughter of TV tycoon Donald Trump.

But after just three days out of prison, Massler allegedly sent a bizarre email to bestselling author Tucker Max, urging Max to "talk him up" to Trump.

In the message, sent on Sunday and obtained by the New York Daily News, Massler allegedly wrote, "Obviously right now, she is probably not that into me since she filed the stalking charges and I'm in the doghouse with her, but later on I'm going to try and recover and then actually win her over.

"Talk me up, perhaps saying, 'Oh yeah, he's a cool guy who just has insanity problems at times, but if he recovered from insanity, he would be cool.'

"I would be the first deranged stalker to later end up (with) the exact chick who originally sought to have him put in jail."

Meanwhile, Massler's mom Randee has apologized to the Trumps for any distress her troubled son has caused: "He wrote nasty things and crossed the line. I can feel for Ivanka Trump and her family. If he caused her to be afraid, I'm very sorry for that."
