Teri Hatcher

We went out for drinks last night at this bar in the West Village called Employees Only, where we met a very high-powered publicist, whom we shall call Rosealynn, who wanted to buy us some drinks. Score!

Hitting it off with our new friend, she proceeds to get a little tipsy and volunteers some information without us even having to ask. Double score!

For a while now, Teri Hatcher has been bemoaning how much she is like her Housewives character, Susan. She's publicly stated that she loves her vibrators and uses them often, since she hasn't (or until very recently) had sex for a few years.

As a guest on The Tonight Show, Hatcher confessed to Jay Leno that she has a crush on Extreme Makover's resident dentist, Dr. William Dorfman.

Jay, who was aware of Teri's crush beforehand, arranged a phone call on air between Hatcher and Dorfman, and the two agreed to go out on a date. Since then, the date has come and gone, but there hasn't been a second. Why? Well, it turns out that Dorfman is fucking creepy. Duh! He's a DENTIST!

According to our publicist pal, who has ties to a cast member on Desperate Housewives that is not Hatcher, ever since their uneventful date, Dr. Dorfman has been calling and emailing Teri non-stop. His affection has turned into almost daily harassment. And, making things even creepier, Dorfman keeps sending Hatcher "weird gifts."

We asked (more than once) but were unable to get any elaboration on what "weird gifts" means, and we are dying to know!

Isn't this a blind item??

'Housewives' Present United Front at Hatcher's Big Night The reportedly feuding Desperate Housewives showed a united front in Hollywood Tuesday night when Nicolette Sheridan and Eva Longoria joined cast mate Teri Hatcher at her InStyle magazine cover party. The girls reportedly fell out during a recent Vanity Fair photo shoot, but there was no sign of any angst at the InStyle celebration. Sheridan refused to comment on the controversy, but was thrilled with her co-star's high-profile magazine cover, stating, "She's got a $20 million smile". Hatcher, herself, admitted she's thrilled with the new cover: "It looks like I'm 40. It doesn't look like I'm trying to be 25. I want to be a voice for women to say it's OK to be older." But Housewives hunk James Denton, who plays Hatcher's on-screen love interest Mike Delfino on the hit show, claimed his pretty co-star has no idea of how sexy she is. He explained, "Sometimes I feel bad for her because she doesn't know how hot she is." http://www.imdb.com/news/wenn/2005-04-14/

From Pagesix.com...SIZE apparently doesn't matter for Desperate Housewife Teri Hatcher. The man-eating actress was spotted smooching shortish fashion photographer Jim Macari at Cain just last week — and now comes word that she was "full-on making out" with 7-foot-tall former NBA star John Salley at L.A. nightclub Chi. A spywitness tells PAGE SIX that Hatcher and the gigantic co-host of Fox Sports Net's "Best Damn Sports Show, Period!" strolled into the Justin Timberlake-owned hotspot Monday night together and settled in a back booth with some friends. After partaking from a bottle of Grey Goose vodka on the table, Hatcher and Salley took a spin on the dance floor to — we kid you not — Beyonce's "Crazy in Love," at which point Salley proceeded to score a slam dunk with one of TV's sexiest babes. "They were full-on making out," says our spy. "They were kissing while they were dancing right in front of everyone." The head-turning twosome apparently met earlier that night at a Cartier-sponsored benefit for Project A.L.S. that also drew Lindsay Lohan, Tori Spelling, Matt Dillon, Kristin Davis and Marisa Tomei. The Brooklyn-born Salley, a notorious smooth talker who won the "Best Interview in the NBA" award from the Associated Press three times, is the only player in league history to win championships with three different teams. He triumphed with the Detroit Pistons in 1989 and 1990, the Chicago Bulls in 1996 and the Los Angeles Lakers in 2000. In addition to co-hosting "Best Damn," Salley has dabbled in acting, appearing in "Bad Boys" and "Bad Boys II" and has lately been trying to produce black independent films. Despite her recent make-out sessions in nightclubs, the 40-year-old Hatcher revealed that she's looking for more than just amorous action these days. "I feel like I'm too old to just have sex," she told InStyle magazine. "I mean, I want to have sex, but with somebody who really loves and gets me." Reps for Hatcher and Salley did not return calls last night.

The 'Desperate Housewives' actress admits she has been inviting dates back to her "passion wagon" in the driveway of her luxurious mansion. Twice-wed Teri, 40, has only recently started seriously dating again after divorcing actor Jon Tenney more than two years ago. She is quoted as saying: "I've had that battered VW van for years I think it's sexy and hot to get to grips with a guy in my passion wagon. "When my van's a-rocking, don't come knocking!" .

Teri Hatcher's dyeing secret

September 13, 2005, 1:07:40

Teri Hatcher has confessed she has been dyeing her grey hair since she was

25. .

The 'Desperate Housewives' actress - who has landed a lucrative deal to

advertise Clairol Nice 'n Easy dye - admits she uses a medium brown colour

to cover up her grey patches.

The 41-year-old beauty says becoming the face of Clairol means a lot to

her - because it's her first cosmetics deal.

She explained to Associated Press: "In all my career, in my ups and downs,

I've never had a beauty campaign. This was meaningful that at almost 41

years old, I could be getting my first beauty campaign. It made me feel

really great".

However, although the ad deal has boosted Teri's confidence about her looks,

she recently admitted she was so insecure about her body she refuses to wear

a bikini.

The stunning actress, who plays Susan Meyer in the hit US show, confessed:

"I wear a swimsuit, never a bikini Maybe 50 per cent would say I look cute

but the other 50 per cent would say that my ass is a little droopy".

Wisteria Woe Over Flick's Emmy

Stories of feuds on Wisteria Lane just refuse to go away.

The latest is that a furious Teri Hatcher refused to pose with Emmy winner Felicity Huffman and her trophy.

Desperate Housewives co-stars Teri, Felicity and Marcia Cross were all up for the best comedy actress award...but it was Felicity - harrassed housewife Lynette - who triumphed.

"Felicity wanted a picture with all of her co-stars," a source told the New York Post, "and everyone [Eva Longoria, Nicollette Sheridan and Marcia Cross] took a picture with her but Teri, who refused."

Meanwhile it was poor old Flick who missed out on the after-show party while the other Wives boogied on down.

"We went to a party and I couldn't get in," she said. "I was like, 'But I have a statue!' And they were like, 'No, you can't get in.'"

In the end, she headed home early with hubby William H Macy.

Just as rumours abounded of clashes in Sex And The City, the fur has apparently been flying since Desperate Housewives became a mega-hit in the US and UK.

Earlier in the year a shoot for Vanity Fair was said to have sparked furious rows over who should sit wear, and Teri wanting first dibs on the best bikini.

LOOKS like Teri Hatcher was sore about not getting an Emmy Sunday

night. Hatcher was beaten out for Best Comedic Actress by her

"Desperate Housewives" castmate Felicity Huffman - and then refused

to pose with Huffman backstage. "Felicity wanted a picture with all of

her co-stars," said our spy, "and everyone [Eva Longoria, Nicolette

Sheridan and Marcia Cross] took a picture with her but Teri, who

refused." The egos on the set have raged since "Housewives" became a

hit. A rep for the show didn't return calls.

Roger Friedman - FOX NewsThe big story of the night of course was Felicity Huffman snatching theEmmy for best actress in a comedy from Teri Hatcher .We thought Hatcher had it. Everyone thought she had it.At the Governor's Ball, I told Hatcher, joking: "I lost money on you.""I'm sorry!" she said. "A lot of people said that. I can't pay youback."And then she added: "But Felicity deserved it." She was very clearabout it.Hatcher - contrary to anything you might hear - was not upset atall. She spent most of the Governor's Ball telling friends about arecent trip to London.Sadly, for a gossip columnist, she was not vicious or backbiting. Shewas, however, extremely and noticeably thin. What's going to happen next on "Desperate Housewives"?All I know is this week, Hatcher shoots a scene with Marc Moses, who isstill on the show as Paul Young, the disturbed widower of the show'soriginal raison d'être, suicide victim Mary Alice/Angela. The scenehas to do with pumpkin pie.I also ran into Steven Culp, the now-dead husband of Marcia Cross onthe show.Culp scored big-time reviews playing Bobby Kennedy in "Thirteen Days"against Kevin Costner, and was probably the best actor on "Housewives."He's already gone back to movies and has plenty of work, but he didconcede that he would have preferred to stay with the show."I wanted to stay, that's for sure," he said. "My career always seemsto take me back to TV."In case you missed it, he's had a recurring role on "The West Wing."As for "Housewives," don't expect to see him back there anytime soon. There have been no plans to film flashbacks or ghost scenes. Hischaracter, Rex, is dead, dead, dead. And then there's Huffman. She won, I think, in one of the Emmy voters'rare cogent moments. She gave one of the most gracious, articulate and memorable acceptancespeeches in some time, citing not only Oscar-nominated husband WilliamH. Macy, but also playwrights David Mamet (whose work she appeared infor years before doing TV) and Aaron Sorkin, who wrote and produced herearlier series, the cult hit "Sports Night" (which co-starred PeterKrause from "Six Feet Under" and Josh Charles).Huffman is generally thought to be on the short list this year for anAcademy Award nomination for best actress (along with Dame Judi Dench,Keira Knightley, Charlize Theron and Gywneth Paltrow). The movie inquestion is called "Transamerica," in which Huffman plays atranssexual. The advance buzz is huge, which means that come January, she could be aGolden Globe nominee in both film and television - without evenhaving to feed or gift the voters!"From your lips to God's ear," she said when we discussed the loomingOscar situation. And no one is more behind it than Macy."We've got to make it happen," he said proudly. And finally, what of Eva Longoria? Well, I would have talked to her,but she brushed me aside like an annoying fly at the Governor's Ball.Even in heels, she seemed like she was a little less than 5 feet tall, which gives support to the theory that successful TV actors have to beable to fit in the average-sized box.She was very busy escorting around a gal pal who'd broken her ankle, and making authoritative plans with a group of friends to go to the TVGuide party, which I'm sure was nice but was considered kind of theleast of the events to be seen at following the Governor's Ball.(The People magazine-hosted soiree at the Mondrian, in conjunction with"Entertainment Tonight," was the hotter ticket, eclipsed only by HBO'smegawatt gala.)We never saw her again.

I've noticed that on the TV show, kind of a nice change.

I agree 100%. Now if only she'd put on 25 pounds and stop using so much orangey self-tanner, then that would be even better... Edited by Freckles
