hedda_louella 1 Report post Posted March 26, 2008 Garces, 51, and Williams, 56, wed in April 1989, shortly after the actor's divorce from his previous wife. Ahem. She was a nanny for his children. While she was his children's nanny, they had an affair that split up his marriage. Still, she actually managed to marry and last for 19 years with him. For a nanny, she'll end up very well taken care of financially.
RedandBlue 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2008 (edited) Wasn't there a recent BI with the subject some aging comedian who was cheating on his wife with someone considerably younger? Robin Williams was the subject of many guesses if I recall. I'm too lazy to look... maybe I'll check and edit later if I find anything. ETA, try searching for Robin Williams in the Blind Items forum and wow...there are quite a few that would fit. I think I was thinking of this one: A List Comic Actor in Car Accident With Mistress or this one: Tipsy I'm old enough to remember when he dumped his first wife and child for the homely nanny, so not feeling much sympathy for anyone but the kids at this point. Communicating via t-shirt just never works as well as you think it will. LOL Amen to that. Jamie Lynn Spears tried it today as well, wearing a shirt that says "The Rumors Are True". She thinks it refers to her "engagement" to the "father" of her baby. To me, it says Pervy Producer Knocked Me Up. So what do we call a fake babydaddy? He's not exactly a beard - maybe he's a bib? ElleDriver 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2008 Robin Williams's Daughter: 'I Want My Parents to Be Happy' People Her parents may be divorcing, but Robin Williams's daughter Zelda swears there's no drama in the family. "It wasn't a complete surprise," the 18-year-old told PEOPLE at the Rémy Martin Spirit Unleashed launch party in Hollywood Thursday night. "It's never easy to end. [but] there's no bitterness – we're all a family." Williams's second wife, Marsha, filed for divorce last month, citing irreconcilable differences. In addition to Zelda, they also have a 16-year-old son, Cody. Williams also has a son, Zachary, 25, from his previous marriage. "I just want my parents to be happy," said Zelda, who stars in the upcoming horror flick Don't Look Up. "And they did last 18 years – a lot longer than most!"(She added that the family knew the divorce was coming for "for months," and that her parents gave them advance warning before officially filing.) Family Ties Although Zelda admits she wasn't particularly close with her dad growing up, the two have been spending more time together recently. "He wasn't around a lot when I was a kid but I have the wonderful opportunity to get to know him now," she explained. "He's taking more of a break. He's not doing four films a year; he's doing one or two .... Now he has more time for us." She also said that her dad is doing well after his alcohol relapse in 2006. "He's great," said Zelda. "He's on the wagon." Watching her father's stuggles with alcoholism has already taught the aspiring actress all about the pitfalls of the Hollywood party scene. "I took a vow of sobriety when my dad relapsed, so I don't drink," she said. "And I have great friends."

NYCat 1 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 BOLDFACES ELECT TO CELEBRATE ROBIN Williams celebrated Barack Obama's presidential-election victory by paying a midnight visit to the home of Ally Hilfiger, the spoiled, 23-year-old daughter of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger. Williams, 57 - who split from his second wife, Marcia, in March - was seen going into Hilfiger's Greenwich Street building at about 12:30 a.m. Sources say he told the doorman he was visiting Ally, who starred in the MTV reality show "Rich Girls" in 2003. But we're told Williams' girlfriend, painter Charlotte Filbert, 27, is a houseguest of Hilfiger, who introduced the lovebirds. Earlier at Public House on East 41st Street - at the party co-hosted by Republican fund-raiser Georgette Mosbacher, movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, Glamour's Cindy Lieve and GQ's Jim Nelson - Josh Lucas probably wasn't aware he was surrounded by the likes of Manhattan DA Robert Morgenthau and former Gov. George Pataki. Lucas, the star of "Glory Road" and "Poseidon," was seen smoking a funny-smelling cigarette. The crowd also included precocious "Gossip Girl" Taylor Momsen, who is three years shy of voting age, Jessica Alba, Salman Rushdie, David Boies, Charlie Rose, James Franco and Gina Gershon. Further north at Philippe on East 60th Street, Sean Combs was celebrating his birthday upstairs when Obama was declared the winner. A huge roar shook the dining room where Michael Jordan, Russell Simmons, Wesley Snipes, Bob Johnson and Butch Lewis were viewing the returns. Jordan and Snipes later partied at Tenjune with fellow Chicagoan Larenz Tate, Knicks Jared Jeffries and Jerome James, and "Last Comic Standing" host Bill Bellamy, the surprise emcee for the night who shouted with excitement: "We are officially a country of change." sanlee 49 Report post Posted November 19, 2009 Williams In Love A Year After Marriage Split ROBIN WILLIAMS has reportedly found love with the woman who nursed him back to health after his open heart surgery earlier this year (09). The comedian, 58, split from his second wife, Marsha, in 2008 after 19 years of marriage. He underwent an operation to replace his aortic valve in March (09), but his health scare has proved to be good for his love life because it brought him closer to graphic designer Susan Schneider, according to the National Enquirer. The couple allegedly met shortly before Williams was admitted to hospital and it was the 45 year old's caring nature which won the actor over. A source tells the tabloid, "Robin truly believes it's no coincidence that Susan came into his life right before his heart operation. He told a pal, 'She saved me - she helped me heal.'" [i know, I know, Hollywood is different.....] well... yes. drinking at 18? so what? honestly while I am by no means a proponent of underage drinking or general drug behaviors at all, i think being critical of her vow because she's technically underage is really really nitpicky here. How many 18 year olds have never tried a drink? If you want to say its sad that by 18 a person has a drinking problem, yes well fair enough. But the derision seems to be over the fact she's swearing off drinking which at the not so tender age of 18 is illegal. You can have sex, vote, and fight in a war at 18. sanlee 49 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 Robin Williams Proud Of Travolta Robin Williams doesn't know how John Travolta coped after his son died. The actor - who stars in family movie 'Old Dogs' alongside John, whose 16-year-old son Jett passed away in January 2009 following a seizure while on holiday in the Bahamas - can't imagine there is anything "tougher" than outliving your children. Referring to the Governors Ball, a party that took place after the Oscars ceremony in March, Williams said: "That's the worst thing that can happen to you, to have a child die before you. "It doesn't get any tougher than that. There's such a kindness to him. Sitting there at the Governors Ball, to hang with him for a minute, that was the best moment for me." The 'Good Will Hunting' star - who has three children, daughter Zelda, 20, and sons Zach, 26, and Cody, 18 - says his friend is like a "sweet panda" because he has dealt with Jett's passing with such dignity. He added to the USA Today newspaper: "He's such a sweet man. He's the human equivalent of a panda. I saw him after the Academy Awards. It was good just to sit with him and say, 'How are you doing, man?' He said, 'I'm OK.' " Williams, 58, also admitted the time off work he had last year following surgery to correct an irregular heartbeat had given him the opportunity to reassess his life. He said: "It's so nice having time off right now. There's no rush. Enjoy it. When you have something like heart surgery, you appreciate the simple things, like breathing. I'm taking it a lot easier." sanlee 49 Report post Posted April 8, 2010 Robin Williams: ‘I Feel Like a Cow’ ROBIN Williams feels like a cow following his lifesaving heart surgery. The Old Dogs star went under the knife a year ago to replace a failing aortic valve. Surgeons used a valve from a cow’s heart to fix the problem and now Robin believes he has some unusual bovine traits. “I have a cow heart and the best thing about being part cow is that I can crap when I walk now,” says the actor. “But I find it hard to eat beef. It’s like I’m one of them!” Williams, 58, recently revealed how his satellite navigation system keeps trying to send him over the side of a bridge. “The other day I was driving and half way across the Golden Gate Bridge this thing told me to turn right!” Williams said. “Other times it will tell me to turn now when I can see there is nothing to turn into other than a wall. I hate that thing.” Source showbizspy.com
