Just Too Young

TORY Burch may have no issues with her ex, Lance Armstrong, dating much younger Ashley Olsen, but that's not the case with Sheryl Crow, whom he dated before Burch. Crow is said to be disgusted by his making out with Olsen in public recently. At Bette Midler's Restoration Project Hulaween bash the night after Armstrong, 36, took Ashley, 21, to the Waverly Inn, friends asked Crow, 45, what she thought of the duo. Although her rep denies it, an insider told In Touch, "Sheryl rolled her eyes and said, 'That's pathetic. Ashley's a kid.' "

Lance Armstrong Declares: "Ashley Olsen and I Are Strictly Friends"

Actress Ashley Olsen inside the Frederick's of Hollywood 2008 Spring collection fashion show on October 24, 2007 in Hollywood, California; Lance Armstrong at the cocktail teception celebrating The Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention on September 18, 2007 in New York City.

John Shearer/WireImage.com; Jemal Countess/WireImage.comLance Armstrong is denying that he and Ashley Olsen are an item.

"Ashley Olsen and I are strictly friends," he said in Friday's New York Post. "We have hung out amongst other friends, and she strikes me as a nice, smart lady."

(Their actions paint a different picture, however: Us has reported that the pair — he, 36; she, 21 — both booked rooms at the luxe NYC hotel SoHo House and dined a deux at NYC's Waverly Hill after taking in the Broadway play Young Frankenstein October 29.)

Meanwhile, Armstrong's ex, Sheryl Crow is debunking Life & Style's claim that she was disgusted by the May-December romance.

The tabloid reported that, when asked about the Olsen-Armstrong fling, "Sheryl rolled her eyes and said, 'That's pathetic. Ashley's a kid.' "

But Crow, 45, blogged:

"Lance and I are friends. I have a lot of respect for him and what he does in the world of cancer. What he does in his personal life . . . is none of my business. Nor would I ever comment on it."

Sheryl Crow Feels Fearless

OK!

A lot has changed for Sheryl Crow in the last three years -- she got engaged, terminated her engagement, fought breast cancer and adopted a baby boy, Wyatt, now nearly 10 months old -- all of which is reflected in her new album, Detours, in stores today.

"The last three years were a real awakening for me," Sheryl says. "I've felt a fearlessness I've never felt before."

That fearlessness is apparent in Detours (fittingly released on Super Tuesday), in which she unleashes a no-holds-barred attack on the Bush administration in such politically charged songs as "God Bless this Mess."

Sample lyric: President George Bush "spoke words of comfort with tears in his eyes/Then he led us as a nation into a war all based on lies."

"It was almost like, 'OK, the gauntlet's been thrown. I'm going in,"' Sheryl says. "I'm not the only one that feels the way I feel. And I don't feel afraid to say the way I feel."

She surely does not -- also featured on the 14-song disc are tunes about gas shortages ("Gasoline"), Hurricane Katrina ("Love is Free") and cultural differences ("Peace Be Upon Us"). On a personal level, Sheryl, 46, belts out numbers about her son in "Lullaby for Wyatt" and her battle with cancer in "Make it Go Away."

And how about her much-publicized romance and breakup with seven-time Tour de France champ Lance Armstrong?

There's nothing direct, but the heartbreaking song -- literally -- "Diamond Ring" features the lyric, "Diamonds may be sweet/But to me they just bring on cold feet."

"I get to talk about it on my own terms, hopefully in a poetic way, in a way that's inspired from the spirit," she says. "The gory details aren't as interesting anyway."

Sheryl Crow Pokes Fun At Stars In Rehab

Sheryl Crow has launched a sarcastic attack on the world's rehabbing celebrities by suggesting she needs to check into a treatment clinic to boost her career.

The singer/songwriter, who has battled depression for years, joked about recording a duet with troubled British singer Amy Winehouse during a show at London's Scala venue on February 19 - before poking fun at stars in rehab.

Crow told fans, "I want to collaborate with Amy because she's really hot and cool right now. I know one song, "Rehab," was very popular, particularly because a lot of young people are in rehab. In fact, I'm thinking about going. It looks like loads of fun and I know my career will benefit from it."

SHERYL CROWE: "JENNIFER BROKE UP WITH BRAD - AND NOT BECAUSE OF ANGELINA!

We were happy at last to see that Jennifer Aniston's close friend Sheryl Crowe has verified everything we always insisted was true about the mythical bustup of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.

We have always insisted that Jennifer BROKE UP with Brad - not the other way around. And it happened BEFORE Brad hooked up with Angelina Jolie. During the last year of Friends, Jen became disillusioned with her marriage and realized Brad wasn't right for her.

She STOPPED trying to get pregnant. She and Brad were talking in a very civilized way about ending their relationship.

When Brad started filming Mr and Mrs Smith, Angelina Jolie immediately set her sights on him, despite the fact that he was still married. She was documented flirting outrageously with Brad, who was flattered, but did not cheat on Jen.

After Jen and Brad announced their amicable split, it was easy for Angelina to pounce on lonely Brad. Jen had hoped to remain close friends with Brad and her feelings were hurt when he drifted into another relationship so quickly. Brad has always been accused of cheating with Angelina and destroying his marriage but that is not how it happened. Thanks, Sheryl, for backing us up!

Sheryl Crow Must Be Lonely

Posted Image

Sheryl Crow must be mighty lonely, because she's using Jennifer Aniston's name to get a little attention. Sheryl reportedly said that Jen was the one to dump Brad Pitt, it wasn't the other way around.

Sheryl said, "For both of us, the perceived idea is that, in our big relationships, we both got dumped. Believe me, this is not true. Neither one of us has ever gotten dumped. No one ever knows what goes on in relationships. Unfortunately, for some people like Jennifer and me, so much is written about things that you don't say, and so many emotions are attributed to you that you haven't had."

A friend of Jen's (I'm guessing Courteney Cox or Sheryl, because those are her only friends) told The National Enquirer, "Once Jen saw the writing on the wall, she dumped Brad. She took a cold, hard look at her marriage and realised it was irretrievably broken. She and Brad had vastly different personal agendas and feelings about love, career and having a family."

That's lovely Sheryl, but it still doesn't change the fact that he's with Angelina Jolie and has like 10,000 kids. Jen has shit!

Sheryl Suzanne Crow needs to go sing about winding roads and soaking up the sun instead of spilling Jen's business. Maybe the music thing didn't work out for Sheryl, so now she's working as Jen's spokeswhore.

Sheryl Crow: 'Aniston Dumped Pitt'

Rocker Sheryl Crow has exploded the myth that Brad Pitt dumped then-wife Jennifer Aniston to romance Angelina Jolie, insisting her pal ditched the movie hunk - and not the other way around.

Despite the widely held belief the pair's marriage ended in 2005 - after Pitt left Aniston - Crow insists she and Aniston bonded after the former Friends star dumped Pitt and she split from her fiancé, cyclist Lance Armstrong.

Crow insists, "For both of us, the perceived idea is that, in our big relationships, we both got dumped. Believe me, this is not true. Neither one of us has ever gotten dumped. No one ever knows what goes on in relationships. Unfortunately, for some people like Jennifer and me, so much is written about things that you don't say, and so many emotions are attributed to you that you haven't had."

Friends have backed up Crow's claim - one pal telling the National Enquirer, "Once Jen saw the writing on the wall, she dumped Brad. She took a cold, hard look at her marriage and realized it was irretrievably broken. She and Brad had vastly different personal agendas and feelings about love, career and having a family."

Liar, liar, gloves on fire!

Janet Charlton should stick with gossip about the Andrews Sisters and Hedy Lamarr. Yes, the Pitt-Aniston marriage had been in trouble for a long time but it was not over prior to l'affaire Jolie. He was a cheating dog for years and he cheated during Mr. & Mrs. Smith - for sure. That trailer wasn't rocking from all the yoga they were doing.

And Sheryl Crow should STFU. Go deal with that baby you bought for yourself and leave the gossip to us.

Sheryl Crow Says She'll Collaborate With Fleetwood Mac, Possibly Next Year

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Sheryl Crow says she'll soon be singing with Fleetwood Mac, a move sure to give new life to the classic rock band, which hasn't toured in several years.

"I don't want to make any official announcements, but I will say that we definitely have plans for collaborating in the future, and we'll see what happens," Crow told the AOL music Web site Spinner.com in a story posted Thursday.

The 46-year-old singer didn't give a date, but said it could happen next year.

She's already thinking about what she'd like to perform. "I'd love to do `The Chain,' I'd love to do `Second Hand News,'" Crow said.

Crow said she looked forward to working with friend Stevie Nicks.

"I think the person I learned the most hands-on from is Stevie Nicks because she allowed me not only to co-write with her but also to produce her, and she's a true artist," she said.

Crow would give the band and Nicks a boost. According to Spinner.com, Nicks had said she wouldn't continue with Fleetwood Mac without keyboardist Christine McVie, who retired from touring in 1998. McVie joined Fleetwood Mac in 1970 shortly after marrying the band's bass guitarist, John McVie.

Fleetwood Mac last toured in 2004.

Crow is currently touring after the release of her latest album, "Detours."

Phone and e-mail messages left with representatives for Fleetwood Mac and Crow were not immediately returned.

Fleetwood Mac Star Upset About Sheryl Crow Confirmation

Fleetwood Mac star Lindsey Buckingham has hit back at reports Sheryl Crow will become a member of the supergroup when it tours in 2009, insisting her announcement is a little premature. Buckingham has confirmed speculation the group is planning to record and tour next year, but adds the idea of adding band mate Stevie Nicks' pal Crow to the line-up is nothing but a talking point at the moment.

That's why he was a little shocked when singer/songwriter Crow went public with news she would be joining the band as a replacement for Christine McVie.

He tells Billboard.com, "I don't think anything is written in stone yet. I think we were all a little surprised she was announcing that to the world with such certainty. We have talked about the possibility of bringing another woman into the scene to kind of give Stevie (Nicks) a sort of foil and shake it up a little bit (and) she was certainly a name that has come up. We'll have to see."

I hope they can find a better singer than Crow to replace McVie. And Lindsey better not let anybody but himself sing "Second Hand News."

Crow Offers Advice To Heigl, Kelley

Sheryl Crow has offered advice to Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley on how to be good parents.

Heigl and Kelley adopted daughter Naleigh last month from Korea. Crow received her son Wyatt in 2007.

Crow told OK: "One of the great things my baby nurse told me was to talk to your baby all the time because it stimulates their brain and they're already starting to learn."

She also suggested: "Grab sleep where you can."

The 47-year-old Grammy winner added that she is relishing being a parent.

"I love everything about being a mom, even the terrible twos, which are terribly fun. It's great. I love every second of it."

Sheryl Crow Fights For Horses

Sheryl Crow is concerned about a new proposal to relocate wild horses in America.

The 'All I Wanna Do' singer is taking part in a charity campaign to stop the US government from moving the horses from plains in the West of the country to the Midwest and East.

Sheryl, 47, said: "I think there has to be a better way than taking them away from their native lands.

"I feel so passionate about the issue because wild horses are one of the last remaining ties to the land as it was and our history in America."

The Grammy Award winner first came to know the plight of the horses when she adopted one animal named Smokey in Colorado soon after splitting with fiance Lance Armstrong.

The US government claims it has to move the horses as the ranges in Nevada cannot support the vast number of them currently grazing.

Sheryl added: "My main concern is that horse numbers are not dwindled down to the point at which they could become extinct."

Sheryl is a vocal charity campaigner, previously speaking out about the war in Iraq and the effects of global warming.
