Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore

Recommended Posts

;) Would Ashton still be around today if he wasn't married to Demi??

I think he produces some shows - had more success at that than acting in movies?

;) Would Ashton still be around today if he wasn't married to Demi?? They both seem foolish.

Honestly, I think it would be more appropriate to say would Demi still be around if she wasn't married to Ashton?

Agreed. I'm not a fan of his...but he definitely is one shrewd businessman.

Agreed. :o

Although...he's kind of like Hugh Grant in that he can play one type very well. But that's it (acting-wise). I think he's a smart guy (and cute too), but he's not really anything but a lukewarm actor.

They are both desperate for any and all attention. During the time she was married to Bruce Willis, he was in Pittsburgh filming and was very obviously seeing someone else, they hardly hid it so I'd assume Demi knew and that it wasn't an isolated incident.

I had the chance to meet Bruce a few years ago, post Demi marriage but before he was with whateverhernameis that he's current married to. I was warned that he would hit on me, that he was aggressive. I'm sure you'll be shocked to know I passed - I would like to keep my fond memories of the guy in Die Hard movies :D

These two are getting a little too close for our comfort.

In her latest bid to show that pesky cheating rumors aren't getting to her, Demi Moore took to Twitter again to post a picture of her and Ashton Kutcher looking like a pair of bed bugs on Friday, snuggling under the sheets on their fifth wedding annniversary.

"Thank you for all the anniversary wishes!!" 47-year-old Demi tweeted along with the pic. "Enjoying a day lounging around watching "Breaking Bad" Great show!"

Cheating Rumors: Did Demi and Ashton Get What They Deserved?

By Catherine Donaldson-Evans

Buzz that Ashton Kutcher has been cheating on his wife Demi Moore has left many fans dismayed. How could it be? The celebrity couple has seemed so in love, so happy, so publicly affectionate, so devoted to each other. They've been hailed as a shining example of a marriage that works in Hollywood, and one where the wife is 15 years older, no less.

But not everyone is shocked and saddened by the idea that Demi and Ashton may be on the rocks. In fact, some are grumbling that the actors -- with their insatiable hunger for attention and eagerness to flaunt their relationship -- are getting exactly what they deserve.

The infidelity rumors just may be the stars' comeuppance, the bashers say, for all those nauseating photos and love notes they've relentlessly posted on Twitter.

Take the early September pictures Moore, 47, tweeted of herself frolicking around in a bikini. Or the Twit pic of Demi and her 32-year-old "hubby" blissfully lying in bed on their fifth wedding anniversary.

Both came within days of Star magazine running two stories about a supposedly straying Kutcher. One quoted an eyewitness who claims to have seen him kissing a blond 20-something near a restaurant bathroom. The second hinged on an interview with 21-year-old chef Brittney Jones, who says she and Ashton had sex while Demi was away in France filming her new movie 'LOL.'

"All along, Demi was told it would never work, that he's going to cheat," Star quoted a friend as saying. "When she finds out that it happened, she'll be devastated."

Celebrity life coach and relationship expert Patrick Wanis doesn't think Demi and Ashton deserve to be trashed by the tabs. But being as open and in our faces as they have been about their love hasn't helped.

"Ashton and Demi make it worse when they are exposing lots of details about their life, because then they are becoming a part of our household," he tells PopEater. "We think we're a lot closer to them than we are ... When you are public, you're inviting people to make comments."

What fuels the frenzy is the sense of entitlement many people feel toward celebrities, Wanis explains. The more stars go public with their every move, "the more people think they own you. You're part of their family," he says.

The pair has presented a united front since the affair allegations surfaced. Shortly after the stories broke, a Twitter photo emerged on Moore's page showing only the couple's elongated shadows, with the metaphorical caption, "Hubby and I standing tall!"

The more recent public displays are only the latest in a very, very long string of public displays put on by the couple. Once, they tweeted from different rooms in their house about plans to have dinner and sex. On another occasion, they wrote about their naked workouts. And while they were at a wedding last year, Kutcher snapped a photo of his wife bending over in a white bathing suit and posted it on Twitter.

"Watching my wife steam my suit while wearing a bikini," tweeted Kutcher alongside the picture. "I love God!"

And the list goes on.

Sickening? Yes. The silly PDAs have even reportedly offended Moore's three kids. But does that mean Demi and Ashton should be battered about by the tabloids, whether the rumors of an affair are true or not?

Maybe. Especially since they've taken to Twitter to address the scandal.

"I think Star magazine calling me a 'cheater' qualified as defamation," Kutcher wrote on September 1. "I hope my lawyer agrees."

Two minutes later, he added, "STAR magazine -- you don't get to stand behind 'freedom of the press' when you are writing fiction."

When will a Twitter addict ever learn?

It isn't just online that they're falling all over themselves to prove the rumors wrong. During public appearances since the scandal broke, the couple have fawned over each other even more than usual. And if you're not familiar with their antics, that's an awful lot of fawning.

Privately, however, sources have said they're "angry" about the stories and have told those close to them not to ask questions, according to PEOPLE magazine.

Some suspect the pair's age gap has finally taken its toll.

"Somehow, I thought it was going to come back to haunt them," a source told PEOPLE. "He got married young, and, as crass as this sounds, never seemed to have his fill. [but] they seemed super committed."

Still, maybe the critics are right. Maybe Demi and Ashton have only themselves -- and all their gushing and tweeting -- to blame.

As for how the saga will unfold, don't worry. You're sure to find out soon enough ... as long as you keep checking Twitter.

Seems to me that Demi also had her hands full disspelling rumors of a philandering Bruce Willis, while they were married. Using twitter and the media to prove she's still desirable and sexy doesn't help her marriage or image. She's regressed to stupidity and immaturity, trying to mesh with Ashton's level. She was once A-list. Now she's just A-ssinine.

Twitter is an excellent way for Ashton and Demi to address the cheating issues. It's a one-way volley of their words; no challenges, rebukes, claims or other issues come back at them. They have no explaining to do. The more they Tweet and post those dumb ass twee photos, the more it seems there is some truth to those accusations.

These two try way too hard to make everyone think that she's still hot, that she hasn't had plastic surgery, and that they are still happily married and have sex like 12 times a day. If it's really that great then you don't need to try and prove it non-stop.

I give them credit: they've been consistently pathetic when it comes to selling their marriage and themselves via Twitter, the media, etc.

I just gleamed this from the Huffington Post:

Ashton Kutcher's purported mistress, Brittney Jones, has given a new interview to Star magazine claiming that Ashton and Demi have an open relationship filled with threesomes, and Hollywood Life has some excerpts.

Brittney, 21, came forward last month claiming she had sex with Ashton on his couch while Demi was out of town. Now she tells Star that Ashton told her he and Demi share lovers--but Demi was mad in this instance because she wasn't around to participate.

"He said they share women, but he isn't supposed to go off and sleep with women on his own," she said. "He said Demi had to be there and that Demi likes to pick the girls out."

Here's my question: Is there someone else hiding 'neath the covers in their anniversary pic?

10/21/2010 5:15 AM PDT by TMZ Staff

Ashton Kutcher's alleged mistress Brittney Jones has a lot in common with Demi Moore ... like a bikini, a cell phone, a mirror, and a killer body.

TMZ obtained this picture of 21-year-old Brittney -- whom Ashton vehemently denies ever hooking up with -- as she shows off the goods Demi-style in a self-snapped photo.

Can you stomach that?

Ashton Kutcher -- Legal Threats Over Sex Tape

12/3/2010 12:20 AM PST by TMZ Staff

Ashton Kutcher is furious over the release of a new sex tape featuring his self-alleged mistress Brittney Jones -- claiming the company behind the flick is illegally using his name to push the porn.

Ashton's lawyers have fired off a letter to Vivid Entertainment -- claiming they're specifically pissed over a press release for the video, which says, "Ashton's fans will undoubtedly enjoy seeing what the star himself may have experienced."

In the legal letter, Ashton's lawyers claim Vivid is infringing on the actor's "marketable celebrity identity value" -- and promise they will unleash a legal nightmare against Vivid unless they stop associating his name with the Brittney Jones porn.

TMZ spoke with Vivid head honcho Steve Hirsch who tells us, “We received the letter late this afternoon and I immediately forwarded it to my attorney. We will respond accordingly.“

Ashton Kutcher to Replace Charlie Sheen on 'Two and a Half Men'

By Tracey Harrington McCoy Posted May 12th 2011 09:00PM

This article has been updated to reflect CBS' joint announcement with Warner Bros. Television on Friday.

After months of much speculation, Charlie Sheen's 'Two and a Half Men' replacement has finally been selected and it's not Hugh Grant. CBS and Warner Bros. Television confirmed on Friday that Ashton Kutcher has landed the plum role of the lead star in CBS's comedy hit.

"I can't wait to get to work with this ridiculously talented 2.5 team and I believe we can fill the stage with laughter that will echo in viewers' homes," Kutcher said in press release about the move. "I can't replace Charlie Sheen but I'm going to work my ass off to entertain the hell out of people!"

Chuck Lorre, creator and executive producer of the show, also chimed with praise for the film and TV star. "We are so lucky to have someone as talented, joyful and just plain remarkable as Ashton joining our family," Lorre said in the CBS-Warner Bros' annnouncement. "Added to that is the deep sigh of relief knowing that our family stays together. If I was any happier, it'd be illegal."

The Hollywood Reporter was first to report the casting on Thursday night. Sources also said Kutcher is set to get a "huge payday" for joining the show, but no word on the actual amount. According to TMZ sources, Kutcher will be making between $625,000 - $900,000 per episode. Sheen's base salary was $1.25 million an episode.

Kutcher added fuel to the casting fire Thursday night, when he cryptically tweeted, "What's the square root of 6.25?" The answer, it turns out, is 2.5.

In the casting announcement, WB TV boss Peter Roth called Kutcher a "big-time talent whose unique style will blend seamlessly with Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones and the rest of this terrific ensemble."

'Two and a Half Men' producer and Charlie Sheen-nemesis, Chuck Lorre, has reportedly put together a clever storyline for Kutcher. "It's really funny," one source said. "People are going to love it."

The role will mark Kutcher's first regular series acting gig since his star-making turn on 'That 70's Show.' The 33-year-old actor has been doing movies and executive producing TV shows like MTV's 'Punk'd' since the FOX series ended in 2006.

I'm torn about whether I want to watch now. I don't like Kutcher- except I LOVED That 70s Show. But I fear it was in spite of Kutcher, not because.....So maybe it'll be the same with 2 1/2 Men - Jon Cryer has usually been the only reason I watch. And Holland Taylor, of course.
