Paul McCartney Debuts Video on YouTube

Paul McCartney snagged Natalie Portman to star in his new music video thanks to his fashion designer-daughter, Stella.

Portman, 25, makes a cameo as a ghost in the video for "Dance Tonight," a track from McCartney's new studio album, "Memory Almost Full." The video had its world premiere Wednesday on YouTube.com.

"The connection with Natalie came from my daughter Stella, who makes non-leather shoes that Natalie buys, so I just thought, `Well, I'll ring her up and just see if she'll do it.' So I rang her up and said, `Hey, I'm Stella's dad!'" the 64-year-old former Beatle said in a statement posted on his Web site.

Portman, whose screen credits include "Closer" and "V for Vendetta," plays a "futurist electronic ghost" who is summoned by the sound of McCartney's mandolin.

Filmmaker Michel Gondry ("Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind") directed the video.

"Memory Almost Full," McCartney's 21st solo album, will be released June 5 in the United States. It's his first release for Hear Music, Starbuck Corp.'s new record label.

McCartney last released the acclaimed "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard," in 2005.

Heather Mills is a greedy ass bitch. According to Page Six, she's turned down a $41 million divorce settlement offer from Paul McCartney, because she thinks it's too small. She said she'll gladly go away for $102 million.

Originally, Heather wanted $300 million of Paul's $1.6 billion empire. She's now willing to go lower. If the couple doesn't decide on an amount, it will be decided by a Judge in February.

She should jump at the $41 million! She'll hop away with a fortune! Since when does this skank care so much about money? Doesn't she have a cow farm to break into?

Mills says McCartney wants her back

Sir Paul McCartney has reportedly changed his tune on ex-wife Heather Mills.

Just seven months after the couple's acrimonious — and expensive — divorce was settled, sources have told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper the couple's daughter Beatrice is bringing them closer.

Mills reportedly went so far as to tell a friend: "I think Paul wants me back."

"The bond which has brought them back together is their little girl," the source said.

"In the heat of the moment, a lot of hurtful things were said and done, but one thing Paul can't ignore is that Heather's a fantastic mum and Bea completely adores her.

"That has changed Paul's thinking more than anything else."

The turning point for the rumoured reconciliation came when McCartney offered an olive branch and apologised to Mills for his behaviour.

"He changed very suddenly," the source was quoted as saying.

"Heather was blown away. So much so that she told me: 'I know it sounds incredible, but I think he wants me back.'"

But the infamous divorce settlement still looms on the horizon.

Mills looks set to get a whopping $37 million lump sum pay out, followed by $8.6 million for every year until Beatrice turns 18.

I wouldn't necessarily say that. Linda and Heather were both strong, even domineering women, and both were determined activists. They did have their similarities.

Agreed. But Linda did have true talent - she was a decent photographer - and she had her own money so didn't need to suck off Paul's finances in the way that Heather did.

He bought himself a younger woman and a chance for a new family... it just didn't work out. He knew she was an ex-hooker when he married her. I think it is just another old man who jumped into a relationship too soon after his wife died and let his dick make the descisions that his lawyers and family should have helped him with.

Agreed.

I think his family did try to "help" (= dissuade) him, though; remember that Stella didn't even turn up for the wedding because she was so against it? I think his old viagra-infused willy was doing all the thinking, though.

She's a lying, psychotic bitch. He will burn his farm to the ground before he takes her back. He's just trying to smooth things over for the child's sake. He adores that little girl. Leave it to the Queen of Skank to interpret mature, reasonable, divorced parenting as "he wants me back." God knows it's beyond her capabilities to see anything as for the child and NOT for her.

I seriously hate this woman. I'm glad Stella's pal Chrissie Hynde put out a cigarette in her fake leg. I'd like to trip her myself.

Hell on four wheels (and one leg)

http://www.holymoly.co.uk/news/28/heather-...bitch-1351.html

Don't think that just because Heather Mills has buggered off to the US for the time being she's become any more of a joy to have around. She has not.

Currently living it up in the Hamptons while renting writer-director Nora Ephron's mansion, she's been getting parking tickets stuck to her car like mosquitoes to flypaper.

Okay, so she may be a lopsided peg-leg, but she still has to get a disabled badge before parking wherever the fuck she likes, even in the super-rich Hamptons, though no one seems to have told the hatchet-faced misery this. "She's parking in front of fire hydrants and in handicapped zones without a handicapped tag," reports the New York Post, an organ about as fond of Mills as, well, pretty much everyone other than her lawyers.

The Post continues: "The peg-legged 'Dancing With the Stars' hoofer recently showed an unimpressed town cop her prosthesis while he was writing up her white gas-guzzler. She was then photographed sticking her tongue out at him as soon as he turned his back." Very grown up, Heather. You must feel proud.

It's a shame that Paul didn't take his time and wait before marrying that skank. I wish he had listened to Mary,Heather,Stella and James, before getting married again so soon after Linda's death. I understand being lonely after never having spent more than a few days away from Linda in their 30+year marriage, but it's sad that he wasn't choosier.

McCartney - Mills Agree $100 Million Divorce.

McCartney & Mills Agree $100 Million Divorce....

Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills have agreed a $100 million divorce settlement, according to reports.

The pair attended a secret meeting before a judge at London's Royal Courts Of Justice on Monday (08Oct07) in a bid to avoid media attention.

McCartney and Mills, who wed in 2002 before splitting four years later (06), reportedly wanted to avoid a public hearing, and were keen to settle the dispute ahead of their daughter Beatrice's fourth birthday on 30 October (07).

They will meet again at the High Court Family division on Thursday to finalise the agreement.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Both Paul and Heather wanted closure on the case before Bea's birthday. It looks like that'll now happen."

It is believed The Beatles legend - worth an estimated $1.7 billion (£850 million) - has requested a gagging clause which will prevent Mills from talking about their four-year marriage.

What the hell does she deserves $100 million for. Stupid idiot for not getting a pre-nup.

No shit! I think if I were his older kids, I'd have tried to get power of atty over him or something to have foced him to get one....

She gets $100M so he can avoid a horrible messy divorce (for examples, see Charlie & Denise  ) and to protect his daughter with the gold-digging tramp.....

McCartneys - We can't work it out

EXCLUSIVE MACCA V MACCA

By Fiona Cummins, Showbiz Reporter, Gary Anderson And Louise Male

12/10/2007

Paul McCartney and Heather Mills yesterday failed to reach a divorce deal after a marathon EIGHT hours of talks.

Sources said Sir Paul, 65, and Heather, 39, may have clashed on such issues as who might administer a trust for daughter Beatrice, a confidentiality clause and whether Heather will get a one-off or a structured payment.

An insider said: "They are still miles and miles apart."

The spectre of a messy, nasty and very public divorce hearing was hanging over Macca and Heather Mills last night - after a gruelling eight hours of talks ended in stalemate.

Macca, Heather and their legal teams spent the day locked in a courtroom with a judge trying to thrash out a financial settlement without the need for a full-blown divorce hearing.

But at the end of the meeting, which was held amid extraordinary security to preserve the pair's privacy, they were still deadlocked. One insider said: "They are still miles and miles apart. There is no agreement or deal.

"It was a tense and difficult day. They are civil for the sake of their daughter but they are both sticking to their guns.

"But anyone who expected a clean break doesn't know the two parties very well."

It is unclear whether meaningful negotiations will continue - or the couple have resigned themselves to a formal divorce hearing next year.

Divorce experts last night warned that a hearing was almost unthinkable in such a high-profile case, where damaging claims and counter claims would be aired in the full glare of publicity. Lawyer Vanessa Lloyd-Platt said: "If they don't crack it at some point over the next few days the situation will explode. Hopes of a settlement become more distant and it really can become quite nasty.

"The next few days will tell us whether they are either really close to a deal or it will become out-and-out war.

"The next stage is a full hearing, the date of which will be determined by the availability of the barristers on both sides.

"It could be listed for seven days or longer, maybe even 14 depending on how many witnesses are called.

"There will be orders for forensic accountants and pensions experts and valuers.

"Any allegations made by Heather that affect McCartney's earnings or popularity could see the judge find against her because she is damaging his career."

Legal sources said the couple may be stuck on any number of issues, including the size of Heather's pay-off or who might administer a trust for daughter Beatrice, three. The insider said: "There could be any number of reasons they can't agree.

"It may be that Heather wants the money as a lump sum rather than piecemeal payments. Or it may be they are discussing a trust for Bea and she doesn't agree with Paul's suggestion of a trustee.

"Paul is an incredibly private man and it is highly probable he will insist on a confidentiality clause. But Heather may not want to be tied down by this.

"It could be that they are just poles apart in what they consider to be a fair and reasonable financial settlement. Too far apart to even compromise. They are both stubborn and it will go right to the wire but it is highly likely one or the other will crack before it is due in court and will settle."

Heather, 39, was first to arrive at the family court in Holborn, central London, for yesterday's negotiations.

Looking nervous and uncomfortable, the former glamour model shielded her face with her hand as the car waited at the gates of the court building at around 9.45am.

Her bodyguard produced a wheel chair from the car boot and Heather, accompanied by a blonde thought to be her sister Fiona, was helped into it.

She was then wheeled into a rear entrance of the building and took a lift to a courtroom on the sixth floor.

A friend later said the wheelchair was needed because Heather's false leg had been causing some discomfort. The friend added: "It wasn't a calculated bid for sympathy. Heather has been in quite a lot of pain and her leg has been quite bruised and swollen."

In contrast to Heather's grim expression, Macca, 65, had smiled broadly a couple of hours earlier as he left his St John's Wood home in north London at 8am for breakfast at a nearby cafe.

And when he got to court about 15-minutes after Heather he smiled and waved at photographers. The negotiations took place in the stictest privacy.

Court staff made a barrier from office chairs to stop anyone even getting within listening distance of the door. Even the door's spyhole was covered from the inside.

A bodyguard was also posted outside.

Heather's lawyer Anthony Julius, who brokered Princess Di's divorce, and Macca's lawyer Fiona Shackleton emerged only for brief break in the talks, which were presided over by High Court judge Mr Justice Coleridge.

Sir Paul, estimated to be worth £825million, took a short break at 12.15pm.He raised his eyebrows when asked if he was winning.

The court broke for lunch at 1.30pm and Sir Paul briefly emerged again.

This time he cheerily munched on a slice of carrot cake as he made his way to the public toilets.

On his way back, he grinned at well-wishers and asked: "Are you having fun?".

He then paused and comically pretended to stagger into court as if exhausted.

Heather remained hidden away in court, making calls and talking to her legal team.

The meeting, officially termed a Financial Dispute Resolution, ended at around 6.40pm.

As Macca was driven from the building he flashed his customary V for Victory sign.

Heather left minutes later in a dark blue Ford Mondeo with blacked-out windows.

An hour later Sir Paul attended the opening of a Piccadilly art gallery accompanied by daughters Mary and Stella in a pointed display of family support. The failure of Macca and Heather to agree terms to end the marriage which collapsed last May after four years did not mean a full hearing was inevitable.

Although a date has been pencilled in for early next year, further talks could yet produce a settlement.

An insider said: "This was always going to be messy.

"It was highly unlikely that it would be settled over a handshake and a smile.

"Let's face it, if it was that simple they would have settled months ago.

"They have both made up their minds over what they want from this and they are not budging. It's going to be a while yet before they can move on.

"They will not be back in talks today. Instead their respective lawyers will go and chew over what has been discussed and see if they can edge a little closer to resolution."

McCartney divorce talks collapse, court date set: report

LONDON (AFP) — Closed-door divorce talks between former Beatle Paul McCartney and his estranged wife Heather Mills have collapsed, opening the way for the case to go to a full public trial, a newspaper reported Friday.

The former couple spent more than eight hours in negotiations on Thursday trying to hammer out details of potentially the costliest-ever divorce settlement in British legal history.

But the Evening Standard reported that the talks broke down over Mills' refusal to sign a confidentiality clause agreeing not to talk about her five-year marriage to 65-year-old McCartney.

"It's finished. There are no more talks planned. The whole thing broke down without agreement," an unidentified source told the afternoon paper, adding that the case will now go to a five-day hearing.

"A trial date has been set for February next year and that is where we are heading," the source added. In that case all the details would be thrashed out in public, the paper said.

According to the paper, McCartney offered Mills 50 million pounds (71 million euros, 101 million dollars) in a deal which would ban her from talking about their marriage.

The former model was willing to accept 15 million pounds less, but refused the confidentiality pact, it said.

Neither McCartney nor Mills made any comment to waiting reporters Thursday evening, after spending all day behind closed doors at the High Court trying to agree terms to end their marriage.

Media reports suggest that Mills, 39, is seeking up to 60 million pounds (85 million euros, 120 million dollars) from McCartney's reported 825-million-pound fortune to end their marriage, which collapsed last year.

Other morning papers reported Friday that the talks had collapsed. "We can't work it out," headlined the Daily Mirror, quoting an insider as saying the former couple were still "miles apart."

"They are both sticking to their guns," the source added. The Sun and Express dailies both said the couple were "deadlocked."

McCartney, 65, and Mills, a former model who lost a leg in a 1993 road accident, married in 2002, four years after the musician's first wife Linda died of breast cancer.

Since they split last year, the couple's divorce has been played out acrimoniously in the public eye, with Mills saying in March that securing a divorce deal was like "getting blood out of a stone."

Oh, it is going to get really ugly when it hits the courts....

How can one man marry such totally different women. When you compare his two wives, it is astounding.

I think that this 'Beatle' image is going to be seriously tarnished by whatever the one-legged skank comes out with, otherwise I cannot imagine him offering so much money to a no-good gold digger.

Don't Ever Marry Heather Mills

Heather Mills and Paul McCartney's divorce battle will head to trial next February. The two spent all day yesterday trying to settle this mess behind closed doors. Heather reportedly refused to agree to a gag order as part of the settlement. Bitch wants to write a tell-all!

She also reportedly turned down a $60 Million deal. It's been reported that she will get anywhere from $40 Million to $140 Million. The divorce settlement could become Britain's biggest. They were married in 2002.

Heather is a gold-digging, blood sucking, heartless, hip hopping witch and I think I love her. Get that cash! That's what Paul gets for not signing a damn pre-nup. You have to deal with greedy witches like Heather!

The Grand Dame of Golddiggery

http://www.laineygossip.com/Paul_McCartney...reak_down_.aspx

Time and again, she pushes the limits of her craft, redefining and perfecting Golddiggery at every turn. KFed and his Junior (the one who married Tori Spelling) should be watching and learning. Heather Mills is a genius.

So she and Paul were expected to nail down their divorce agreement yesterday with an offer from him for a reported 60 million pounds – over $120 million – and a commitment from both sides not to publicly discuss their private affairs.

Unfortunately for Sir Paul, this became the sticking point. Heather was supposedly willing to go with £15 million less for the right to yap as often and as loudly as possible about their marriage, knowing full well that publishing deals and speaking engagements and eventual movie offers about “her remarkable life” will yield far more than that in the long run.

If she gets her way, she publicly exploits their marriage for profit AND gets to spew her lies. On the other hand, by insisting – for now – on doing away with the confidentiality cause, she forces Paul’s hand into giving her more money. £60 million of course was never the original goal. The original goal was probably close to £150 million. Remember – McCartney is a billionaire. And she knows it.

Cunning little bitch, non?

Here they are at the hearing yesterday which ended at an impasse. UK gossips are now predicting a settlement will not be reached amicably and that the two will scrap it out in court where she will likely eat him alive.

He’s no match for her. There really is NO match for this kind of manipulative brilliance. Heather Mills could probably wither even Madonna.
