Yentas at The View Can't Stop Squawking, Even on Jesus' Birthday

Those hags over at the View are never satisfied. Like Prince's Mom in "When Doves Cry".

BARBARA Walters had to mend wounded egos at "The View" holiday party the other night after she gushed ad nauseam over Rosie O'Donnell, but somehow forgot to praise the rest of her yakking yentas.

Babs took the mike and apologized for O'Donnell's absence, saying she had to attend a funeral. "She went on to say what a wonderful addition Rosie had been and how much Rosie wanted the show to succeed.

It went on for almost too long, then she exited the stage," our spy said. "I saw Joy Behar walk over to [producer] Bill Getty and have a very animated discussion.

A few minutes later Barbara interrupted the crowd again. She hadn't even mentioned Joy or Elisabeth Hasselbeck the first time around.

She apologized and gave some lame speech about how the show would not survive without them.

Her excuse for not mentioning them was that she hadn't prepared notes . . . I don't think it went over very well with Elizabeth or Joy."

Does anyone give a shit what goes over well with Elizabeth and Joy?

Holy hell, I'd rather shove chopsticks under my fingernails than listen to these bitches bitch. Speaking as an observer, Elizabeth can be replaced instantaneously with some other conservative twit punching bag, and it looks as if Joy already was replaced by the braying lesbian to the right of her.

And I don't see a talk show starring just the two of them being very popular. So pipe down, and know your roles.

Rosie O'Donnell Compares Donald Trump to a 'Pimp'

THURSDAY DECEMBER 28, 2006 08:10 AM EST

By Stephen M. Silverman

The holiday truce between Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump has come to an abrupt end, with her comparing him to "a pimp" and him calling her "a degenerate."

The war of words exploded anew after O'Donnell posted a message on her blog on Wednesday – "So what happens/when u say the emperor has no clothes/the comb over goes ballistic/via phone to (larry) king" – referring to Trump's interview on CNN in which he called her "a terrible person."

After O'Donnell called Trump a "snake-oil salesman" on The View last week following his handling of the Miss USA situation, he attacked her in print and on TV, and even said he was sending men to woo her companion, Kelli Carpenter away from her.

In response, O'Donnell said on The View she would give her reaction to the whole situation – then simply looked at the camera and grimaced. But she clearly had more to say.

Her blog posting describes "beauty pageants/where women were paraded around/judged valuable or not/by old white men/it is always old white men."

She continues: "Remember the seventies/a young girl in nyc/meets a pimp/he cons her into a life of illusion/she works for him."

In response, Trump told the New York Post, "Rosie got mentally beaten up by me, because she's a mental midget, a low-life. I think she's got a death wish. It's too bad a degenerate is able to get away with things like that."

No, it's too bad that a degenerate like Donald is able to structure business ventures in such a way that there is not enough capital and assets to suffer losses and so they fail, and other people, rather than Donald, end up losing their shirts (although at this point, people should be wary of investing in a Trump deal).

Rosie's probably right about the effect of his failures on the local community. I don't know any statistics, but I can only imagine how much it would hurt a community thats economy is based around the casino industry and most of its citizens are employed by these businesses.

I have to say he's just making me want to watch Rosie even more.

As for Bab's goof at the holiday party, the woman's getting older and just flat out forgot that a good hostess would thank all her employees. I think she really wants to retire but the show won't go on without her in the background to smooth things like this out. I really like the fact that they all strongly disagree at times and am one of the few that usually enjoy both Joy and Elizabeth but get a grip ladies ~ You haven't had the career that Rosie has and you never will. Accept your place on the totem pole and enjoy the fat paycheck you get for it!

I wonder how long ago the holiday party was because Rosie has been saying on her blog that Barbara hasn't even called her about the whole Trump situation and the fact that Trump said Barbara can't stand Rosie. You can tell Rosie is very upset about that.

What a f**king homophobe. Yes, that's what he means by degenerate. No way around it, I'm afraid.

I think you're right. He uses "degenerate" as a noun in his statement. From Merriam-Webster:

Function: noun -- one that is degenerate: as a : one degraded from the normal moral standard b : a sexual pervert c : one showing signs of reversion to an earlier culture stage

I think you might be giving Trump more intellectual credit than he deserves.

Although I think they are both acting like children, I want to be drafted to Team Rosie at this point.

Donald Trump Continues to Blast Rosie O'Donnell

FRIDAY DECEMBER 22, 2006 08:05 AM EST

FRIDAY DECEMBER 22, 2006 11:25 AM EST UPDATED

By Stephen M. Silverman

While Rosie O'Donnell chose to button her lip about Donald Trump on Thursday – her only new contribution to their verbal slugfest was to grimace on The View – the object of her detraction launched a new barrage of comments about her. ... To the Los Angeles-based TV show Good Day L.A.: "Maybe she wanted to put the crown back on Miss USA's head. I think she's very attracted to Miss USA so she probably wanted to put the crown on her head herself."

I don't know how I missed this quote when I posted it... I'm back on the Donald is a homophobe train.

Rosie and The Donald Give About Two Shits For The Spirit of The Season

These people clearly shouldn't have blogs. That's my first impression. First, she called him a "snake oil salesman," and then he responded with plans to seduce Rosie's partner from her (cleverly using men and clearly not getting the whole "lesbian" part of the equation) and this is how it continued from there, according to People:

In response, O'Donnell said on The View she would give her reaction to the whole situation - then simply looked at the camera and grimaced. But she clearly had more to say.

Her blog posting describes "beauty pageants/where women were paraded around/judged valuable or not/by old white men/it is always old white men."

Maybe if we locked them in a room, filled with mistletoe, they could work out their problems Disney movie style. Lindsay Lohan could reprise her role from Parent Trap. Actually, that might simply depress me. Also, I think an adult Lohan fake British accent might just cause ME to start cutting myself.

Baba's wawa over Trump

Wades into Rosie smackfest

DAILY NEWS

The Rosie O'Donnell-Donald Trump feud, like the Energizer bunny, just keeps going and going and going ...

The latest chapter in the Battle of the Bigmouths came yesterday when ABC officials forced Barbara Walters to clarify Trump's financial history - live on "The View."

Despite the clarification, there's no end in sight to the bickering because Trump insists Walters isn't telling the truth when it comes to her feelings for O'Donnell.

Reading from a prepared statement, Walters said on yesterday's "View" that Trump had never filed for personal bankruptcy, but that some of his casinos had and were out of bankruptcy.

The on-air clarification was in response to a threatening letter from Trump's attorneys demanding a retraction of O'Donnell's anti-Trump tirade on the Dec. 21 edition of the ABC daytime chatfest.

Back then, O'Donnell attacked Trump's hair, his support of troubled Miss USA Tara Conner and his financial standing. O'Donnell yesterday was on a long-planned vacation with her family, Walters said, "and not, I can promise you, with Donald Trump."

Walters also lashed out at Trump for saying she told him she regretted hiring O'Donnell in the first place - something Trump repeatedly said in several appearances following the last round of insults with Rosie.

Trump said then - and reiterated yesterday - that Walters told him in a phone call she made a mistake hiring O'Donnell.

"Nothing could be further from the truth," Walters told viewers yesterday. "I have never regretted, nor do I now, the hiring of Rosie O'Donnell."

Trump immediately responded by saying Walters wasn't telling the truth.

"That's not what Barbara told me on a telephone conversation last week," Trump said yesterday. "She knows what she told me, but I fully understand why Barbara has no choice but to say what she said."

A spokesman for "The View" said Walters had no further comment.

On the show, Walters said O'Donnell left her own daytime show four years ago at the "height of her popularity" to spend time with her girlfriend Kelli and their children.

Previously, Trump said O'Donnell's show was a failure.

"She has brought a new vitality to this show and the ratings prove it," Walters said, also citing several newspaper reports praising the hire of O'Donnell.

"Ratings are up because of me," Trump said. "The ratings are up a little bit, from their worst year, and the only reason ratings are up because of her attack dog attacking people. The difference is those people never fought back."

Trimming Fat

WHITNEY Houston once told Newsweek that Rosie O'Donnell was a "fat bitch," but the magazine pulled the insult, fearing it would upset the Grammy-winning diva's devotees. In her new book, "Off the Record," veteran Newsweek correspondent Allison Samuels says she got the incendiary quote from Houston after O'Donnell once implied she had substance abuse problems. Samuels writes: "After a few meetings with the top editors at the magazine, we decided not to use [it] . . . since many of Houston's fans did not know that side of her and it was such a demeaning statement. Furthermore, Whitney was clearly not in her right mind."

O'Donnell: Trump Is 'Obsessed With Me'

Jan 8, 1:28 PM EST

The Associated Press

NEW YORK -- Rosie O'Donnell says Donald Trump is a man obsessed.

"It's the way I look. He can't resist. I love when people say you're fat like you don't know," O'Donnell joked Monday on ABC's "The View." "... It's always the first comment of someone who disagrees with you if you happen to be on the plus side."

Trump has been hurling insults at O'Donnell since she criticized his news conference with Miss USA Tara Conner last month. Trump announced that Conner would be allowed to keep her title, which had been in jeopardy because of underage drinking.

"Boy, did I hit a nerve with that guy," O'Donnell said Monday, calling Trump a "comb-over bunny" for his relentless attacks on her, which include saying that Barbara Walters, creator of "The View," had told him she didn't want the 44-year-old comedian on the show.

Walters said Monday that Trump's remarks were "totally untrue" and expressed a wish that "we could rise above it."

"It's not we, it's him," said O'Donnell. "He's doing every show in America. He's on QVC talking ..."

"The guy, he's obsessed with me, obviously," she said.

A spokeswoman for Trump said she was trying to reach him for comment.

O'Donnell said she went shopping recently and "all of these plus-size women" with "tears in their eyes" approached her with words of support.

"He wounded millions of women by saying that I was fat, you know?"

Trump is the owner of the Miss Universe Organization, which includes Miss USA and Miss Teen USA.

Ok - Iwas thinking to myself: look at rosie -she almost is like her old self, joking and totally blowing him off, until she went to her "fans" coming up to her.

PUULLEEZE - now after that brief 30 second euphoria, I don't like her AGAIN!

ROSIE BLOWS UP AT 'LIAR' BABS

January 9, 2007 -- THE tension between "The View" creator Barbara Walters and co-host Rosie O'Donnell, sparked by O'Donnell's feud with Donald Trump, boiled over yesterday morning when the portly comic called Walters "a [bleeping] liar."

The fight started around 8:30 a.m. when Walters, back from a two-week vacation, walked into the hair and makeup room at ABC studios and tried to hug O'Donnell, whom she hired onto the popular show.

According to spies, O'Donnell recoiled from Walters' touch and yelled, "You kept me in the newspapers this whole time!"

Both "View" producer Bill Geddie and Walters tried to calm O'Donnell. Walters told her, "I did everything I could to squash the story" - prompting Rosie to scream, "You didn't call me for 10 goddamn days, and you didn't tell me what you were going to say on television!"

O'Donnell is fuming because Trump went on Larry King two weeks ago - after she had called Trump a "snake-oil salesman" - and said Walters told him she regretted hiring O'Donnell. Trump also blasted the comic as "a horrible human being and a loser."

During her vacation, Walters issued a carefully worded statement saying, "I'm sorry there is friction between Donald and Rosie. That said, I do not regret for one moment my choice to hire Rosie O'Donnell as the moderator of 'The View.' "

After O'Donnell's outburst at Walters yesterday, Geddie jumped in and told her, "You've crossed the line." O'Donnell retorted, "Cameras are now outside of my house where my wife and kids are." She turned to Walters and said, "You went all around this and never called [Trump] a liar. You never said, 'Donald is lying.' You never called him a liar."

When Walters tried to defend herself, O'Donnell erupted, "Are you looking me in the face and denying you didn't tell him you didn't say this? You're a [bleeping] liar."

Cindi Berger, a rep for both Walters and O'Donnell said, "Whatever happened in the hair and makeup room was hardly a squabble. It's business as usual, everyone has moved on."

Rosie's Kids Comment on Trump

Rosie's brought her kids into it. *rolls eyes*

Rosie O'Donnell returned to The View Monday for the first time since her pre-Christmas feud with Donald Trump.

Rather than blast him anew, the discussion between O'Donnell and the others on the show, including Barbara Walters, focused on one particular aspect of Trump's name-calling: referring to O'Donnell as a "fat pig."

"It's the last bastion of a coward," said costar Joy Behar, who asked O'Donnell, "Did it bother you?"

"No. It bothered Vivie," replied O'Donnell, referring to her and wife Kelli Carpenter's 4-year-old daughter Vivienne.

And O'Donnell said that 7-year-old son Blake told her about Trump: "He used the 'F' word." Turning to the audience, O'Donnell said that at her house, "The 'F' word is 'fat.' It's not the real 'F' word."

Good lord, let my people go. This bitch needs to step it up, because she's getting owned. Stop with the sympathy ploy and regroup and attack that wig again, girl. Or whatever the hell that is on his melon. If that fails, get the Dykes on Bikes to rough his ass up. Seriously, I'll do it for ya. Ever since I saw that documentary with you and your mate running that cruise ship for gay families, I've been in your corner. I woulda signed on for it but no one likes a drunk queen staggering around on deck telling children he wishes he was that thin.

More foolishness....

From dlisted:

Donald Trump wrote this letter today to Rosie O’Donnell. He CCed the WORLD:

Dear Rosie,

I hope you had a wonderful vacation with your wife — you needed the rest.

An article in today’s New York Post, indicates that you blew up at BARBARA WALTERS for being a ‘liar.’ Actually, I don’t blame you, but in fact she lied to both of us! After your maniacal and foolish rant against me two weeks ago, Barbara called me from her vacation (I did not call her) in order to apologize for your behavior. She had heard that I was going to retaliate against you and tried to talk me out of it. She very much wanted me to go on the show as soon as she got back so that she could ‘patch things up’ (I said no). To be exact, she said that ‘working with her is like living in hell’ and, more pointedly, ‘Donald never get into the mud with pigs’ and, ‘don’t worry, she won’t be here for long.’ Barbara knows exactly what she told me over the phone and she has to live with it. Perhaps that’s why her initial statement was so mild!

In another incident, when I saw her eating at Le Cirque about two months ago and asked how ‘Rosie was doing,’ ’she sarcastically rolled her eyes and said ‘Donald, do you have to ruin my meal.’

In any event, you have a good reason to be angry. Please give my warmest regards to Kelly!

Sincerely, Donald J. Trump

P.S.

I was surprised that you let your spat with Barbara get into the newspapers, but, as I have always said and as you proved with Rosie, the magazine, you are very self destructive. You must work on this for your own good!”
