Rosie O'Donnell

Boy - she must have really hit a nerve with him... why is he so defensive? I would say that maybe he has something to hide, but I won't, lest he try to sue me, too!!!! Go Rosie!

He's just mad because for once nobody's kissing his ass. Well except Regis and Kely. I can't believe he thinks he can sue people for not liking him, since everything Rosie said was true.

And i can't believe he said that he'd send one of his friends to Kellie and pick her up and that it'd be easy to do. He probably thinks gay relationships aren't stable as straight ones. Or that Kellie will jump at the first cock she sees. ASSHOLE.

Trump Sends Rosie Christmas Greetings, Refers To Her as a "Clam"

Its on like Donkey Kong! To our Christmas joy, two idiots keep up the drama!

Donald Trump continued his vicious attack on Rosie O'Donnell on Thursday by calling into local morning show "Good Day L.A.," and proclaiming that Barbara Walters hates Rosie as much as he does!

The Donald fired off a litany of insults, personally attacking the "View" co-host by calling her a "bully," "a loser," "stupid," and even compared her to a "clam."

More, and Rosie's own views on Donald from this morning's view, after the jump.

To be fair to Donald (HA!) he never said he'd send a male friend to pick up Kelly. Just a "friend". So maybe he was thinking he'd send a woman.

I gotta say--Rosie doesn't seem like she'd be easy to live with (neither does Donald--but he buys his wives and they sure as he!! know what they're getting into...)

Is it just me or did Rosie take a left turn toward the ugly side in recent years?

Don't get me wrong, I am nowhere near Team Trump on this one, but it just seems that Rosie has gone over to the dark side lately.

As for Trump buying his wives, you don't think Kelly is getting what she wants out of the relationship?

Trump fires, but Rosie doesn't bite

Donald Trump spent yesterday roasting his newest enemy, but Rosie O'Donnell decided she wasn't going to play.

The real estate mogul attacked O'Donnell in several TV interviews as a fat, stupid, ugly, lying loser whose girlfriend would leave her for him.

O'Donnell declined to take the bait on "The View," refusing to say Trump's name and making a sour face as her only comment. But she brought her partner, Kelli Carpenter, to sit in the studio audience.

"Look who's here today - Kelli!" O'Donnell said. "I was afraid to leave her home in case somebody with a combover came and stole her from me."

Trump, meanwhile, insisted he planned to sue O'Donnell for mocking him, his hair, his business and his beauty pageants on "The View" Wednesday.

Trump wouldn't say on what grounds he would sue, though he was irked she had accused him of going bankrupt. He has never filed for personal bankruptcy, though his casinos have twice sought protection. He also seemed upset that O'Donnell had mocked his inimitable coiffure: "I don't know why it's so bad. It's my hair."

Rosie Speaks Out on The View

THURSDAY DECEMBER 21, 2006 08:15 AM EST

THURSDAY DECEMBER 21, 2006 12:55 PM EST UPDATED

By Stephen M. Silverman

The war of words between Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump continues to flare, as O'Donnell made a few brief comments on Thursday's episode of The View and posted her thoughts on her blog.

"What a fun night of viewing," O'Donnell said on the air about the TV news coverage of her feud with the star of The Apprentice.

After Trump threatened to have some men woo O'Donnell's companion, Kelli Carpenter, away from her, O'Donnell said on the show, "I brought Kelli here today. I was afraid to leave her at home, in case someone with a comb-over came over and stole her from me."

As her final word on the matter, O'Donnell said her reaction to the entire situation was ... and then she looked at the camera and grimaced.

As for Trump's response to Rosie: "She's a bully. Bullies never respond," he told PEOPLE Thursday. Still, he said he was surprised she didn't issue an apology.

Far from apologizing, in a new entry that went up on her personal Web site Wednesday night, O'Donnell reproduced a lengthy article from the online encyclopedia site Wikipedia about Trump's finances – in particular, his reported 1990 business bankruptcy and his being on brink of personal bankruptcy.

The entry is to help support her claim, made on The View Wednesday, that Trump has a shaky financial past – which he has threatened to use as a basis to sue her, because, he told PEOPLE, "You can't make false statements." (Through all his business ups and downs, he has never personally filed for bankruptcy.)

In her posting, O'Donnell adds in her blog's haiku style: "loving the wiki/ i use it/ do u."

As for Trump's threat that he's considering sending some of his friends to go steal O'Donnell's companion, Kelli Carpenter, away from "nice fat little Rosie," the View cohost also writes, "i will let u know if the donald sues me/ or if kelli leaves me for one of his pals/ dont u find him charming."

The clash between the two began when O'Donnell expressed fiery words about Trump on Wednesday's edition of her ABC show, on which she called him a "snake-oil salesman" following Tuesday's announcement that he would not fire troubled Miss USA Tara Conner.

After hearing about her comments, Trump fired back to PEOPLE, calling O'Donnell "a woman out of control" and saying he planned to sue her over the statements questioning his economic well-being.

Donald Trump Continues to Blast Rosie O'Donnell

FRIDAY DECEMBER 22, 2006 08:05 AM EST

FRIDAY DECEMBER 22, 2006 11:25 AM EST UPDATED

By Stephen M. Silverman

While Rosie O'Donnell chose to button her lip about Donald Trump on Thursday – her only new contribution to their verbal slugfest was to grimace on The View – the object of her detraction launched a new barrage of comments about her.

To Larry King on CNN: "Disgraceful, a horrible human being, a terrible person ... a loser. Her magazine failed. The ratings for her show were terrible. They basically threw her off the air. ... She is not a good person. She makes false statements. She's a bully."

To the FOX News Channel, he said: "(View executive producer) Barbara Walters, in my opinion rues the day she put that animal on her show."

To the Los Angeles-based TV show Good Day L.A.: "Maybe she wanted to put the crown back on Miss USA's head. I think she's very attracted to Miss USA so she probably wanted to put the crown on her head herself."

To the New York Post: "She's an extremely unattractive person who doesn't understand the truth. ... I think she's a terrible person ... She has failed at everything she has done...She's a bully and she sucker punches people."

And the face she made on The View? "She folded," said Trump.

On Thursday, Walters released a statement saying: "Donald Trump is a personal friend of mine and has been a good friend to The View for many years. I'm sorry there is friction between Donald and Rosie."

She added: "That said, I do not regret for one moment my choice to hire Rosie O'Donnell as the moderator of The View. I certainly hope and expect that this tempest will pass quickly."

In response to Walters's words, Trump told Larry King: "I can tell you for a fact that is not what Barbara told me. ... Trust me, that's not what Barbara told me over the phone."

Neither Walters nor O'Donnell mentioned the feud on Friday's View, which was pre-tapped according to a source.

Trump originally took umbrage at O'Donnell's comments about him on Wednesday's edition of the ABC chatfest. Taking him to task for his handling of the Miss USA Tara Conner affair, she said he had no right to serve as a moral compass and that he had gone bankrupt.

While Trump has never filed for personal bankruptcy, he has sought bankruptcy protection for some of his casino concerns.

Trump Blames People Like Rosie For Iraq War

Posted Dec 22nd 2006 10:19AM by TMZ Staff

The Donald's new celebrity war with Rosie O'Donnell is comparable to the war in Iraq ... at least according to Trump.

Last night, the Donald phoned into "Larry King Live" from a phone on his private jet, and continued to bash his newfound enemy by comparing Rosie's claims that Donald went bankrupt to the "lies" that got the U.S. involved in the war in the Middle East.

"When people lie, Larry, I like to go after them. And I think, frankly, more people should be like that. I mean you look at this country, look at the problems we have -- lots of lies got us into the war in Iraq."

Earlier in the week, Rosie posted a message on her blog detailing Trump's financial history. "She said ... I went bankrupt three or four times, there's only one problem, I never went bankrupt."

The blood feud officially began when Rosie ripped Trump on "The View," for acting as America's "moral authority" in his public pardon of Miss USA Tara Conner.

Larry King said they invited Rosie to appear on the show, but she declined.

Babwa Defends Rosie ... Sorta

Posted Dec 21st 2006 5:10PM by TMZ Staff

Barbara Walters -- friend of Donald Trump, boss to Rosie O'Donnell -- attempted to delicately straddle the electric fence between the two, as she commented on their explosive fracas from afar.

"Donald Trump is a personal friend of mine and has been a good friend to 'The View' for many years," said Walters from abroad, via a rep for the show. "I'm sorry there is friction between Donald and Rosie."

Walters then plumped for Rosie. "That said, I do not regret for one moment my choice to hire Rosie O'Donnell as the moderator of 'The View.' I certainly hope and expect that this tempest will pass quickly."

Earlier today, Trump dragged Walters into the feud during a live interview on "Good Day LA," saying that "Barbara cannot stand Rosie."

Some friend! Barbara tried to smooth things over so everyone could move on and Donald basically called Barbara a liar for all to see.

Team Rosie here.

I agree! And if Donald uses the word LOSER one more time, I am going to throw up!!

Tyler--I think any time someone marries someone who is already famous, they know what they're in store for and what they can expect to get in return from the relationship. I'm not (yet) cynical enough to think that EVERYONE is in it for the money or fame or designer handbags (Katie, I'm looking at YOU) but sure, it happens all the time. I think that Rosie's "persona" [is that who she is at home? I have no idea--I'm not there] has gotten more brash recently, but I also think she gets a lot of flack for it just because she's a woman. There are plenty of men who are just as obnoxious that don't get maligned with quite the same ferocity. I'm still not a fan--I never watched her when she was Nice Rosie and I don't watch her now. But I see a gender-based double standard in play.....

As for Donald and his hair, so many people--famous people!--have made comments about it over the years--if he hasn't changed anything yet, he ain't gonna! He probably figures it's his signature style or something.....

That's kind of my point: Rosie slams Trump because his wives are bought. The thought doesn't occur that she might have done the same? It should.

As for the gender bias whatever, is the old addage a woman speaks out, she is a bitch, if a man speaks out its because he is aggressive and assertive.

For me? In this situation both players are aggressive, bitchy and assertative. My 10 year old acts more mature than these two.

Trump is acting like a beligerant child, but he has a point: Rosie routinely trashes people, and rather nastily. Maybe it's part of her shtick, but it is what it is.

I have to disagree with this. I think Rosie had a point...who is Donald Trump to be the moral compass of the world...three wives, numerous affairs, 3 potential bankruptcies, etc. All he could say back to Rosie was that she was ugly and fat. She may be a bitch, but I totally agree with her. Donald is the asshole on the playground who is big but dumb. He can't win with his wit and he's wrong, so he calls everyone else names.

I hope his hair flies off and we see the bald, ugly, fat man for what he really is.

As for Rosie buying her wife, there is a gigantic difference between living with four young kids and Rosie and living with Donald Trump in the Trump Something or another with the gold plated babies' floor. Rosie's "wife" bought in it for the love of Rosie and the kids they both adopted, good or bad. The Donald's girl is ONLY is in it because he can provide her the lifestyle to which she has become accustomed. Frankly, I think the D's wife is ugly and she better watch it. Gain a couple of pounds and he'll be on to the next blind fool.

I can't wait to see Kelly out shopping with her new BFF, Melania...and Rosie! Wouldn't that be justice?! Eat that, wonderboy!! Rosie might have strong opinions, but she would never stoop to the level of this walking hairball... By the way, Mollygood.com has nude pics of Melania - HaHaHa!

It is no better than being a hooker.

But why should that bother us? All marriages used to be based on financial arrangements--why should we care if some still are?

It does not bother me at all, unless the people involved in it are lying. Tom Cruise and Katie come immediately to mind. The problem I have with Trump is that he seems to hold himself in higher regard than others and I was just pointing out that he is not living up to his higher moral standard, nor is his bought and paid for wife.

Because, back then women didn't have the opportunity to be anything but chattel. Today, women have the freedom to support themselves thanks to the efforts of millions of individuals who fought for equality.

I think it's a woman's right to be a prostitute-type wife if she so wishes but it disappoints me when I see so many selecting this option when the opportunities for self-reliance were so hard-won.

Again, so what?

If someone chooses to hook for a living, that is their choice. It may not be a choice I would make, but it is not my life.

Her/His life to answer for, not mine.

So does Rosie -- you (and others) just happen to agree with her on this one.

I don't happen to agree with either -- they are both acting immature. As I said, my 10 year old son displays more maturity than these two have lately.
